About: I have a deep love for animals especially since I have a 10 year old schnauzer back home in Florida who I miss every day. Being around pets again brings me joy and comfort, and I always strive to give that same feeling back to the animals I care for. About: I am currently studying to become a Veterinary Assistant at Parkway West Career and Technology Center, and the more time I can spend with animals, the better! I also have volunteer experience at Bailey's Cat Haven, which has provided me with the cat cuddling time that I've been missing since my apartment doesn't allow pets (Booo!). About: I don’t have much experience with dogs if I’m being honest. The only experience I had with a dog was with a baby pitbull and that was for about a year. That being said, despite my lack of experience I am willing to learn. My love for animals in general is why I am open to learning. I will still provide the same love, care and affection for a dog as I would a cat. My daily and weekly routine is very open for pet care. I am currently on maternity leave so I have lots of availability throughout my days. I treat them like their family and not strangers or “just for the money type of thing”. If the client has special requests as far as how they would want their pet taken care of, I would follow those requests and update the clients along the way.
