About: I’ll provide take their pet(s) on a 30 minute walk. Allow their pet(s) to get enough exercise. Provide food and water. I’ll also bathe their pet(s) if needed. I have open availability on weekends and sometimes during the weekdays. I really don’t have any special skills. I’m willing to get to know more about your pet(s). The only pet care experience that I have is from learning things about my own pet. I haven’t really pet sat in a while. I’m willing to learn more by pet sitting your pet(s). I look forward to meeting your pet(s) so that I can gain more experience. I understand that all dogs are not all the same which is why I would love to get more experience. About: I have had pets for all of my life and have gained a wealth of experience along the way. For several years I worked at a pet boarding and grooming facility where I obtained the knowledge of light grooming, and administering medications such as insulin. During my time working at this facility I also learned how to handle pets that may be aggressive wether it was caused by food, toys, or anxiety. I currently have four dogs and two cats who I love dearly. I have also had the joy of taking care of many animals all the way from puppy/kitten hood all the way to the rainbow bridge. I know how hard it can be to find someone you can trust to care for your fuzzy family member, but I hope you can find that with me. If you have any questions please ask me and I will be happy to answer I am currently working as a shipping manager for a small factory but I would like to make caring for pets my full time job. I have an invisible fence with one and a half acres of area to roam. I have pet stairs leading to those hard to reach areas (like the couch or bed) for small or senior pets. I also have a cart to pull behind my bike if there are any pets that aren't so active but like fresh air. My cats enjoy the luxury of having their own bedroom so they can have peace from the dogs when needed. And of course I have a plethora of toys and treats. I am willing to make accommodations for special needs pets.

About: I’ve spent the past several years working hands-on as a veterinary assistant and dog trainer, and I truly love what I do. In the clinic, I’ve helped care for pets of all ages and temperaments, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for during what can sometimes be stressful visits. As a trainer, I focus on building trust and clear communication between dogs and their owners, using patience and positive reinforcement to create lasting results. Whether I’m assisting in medical care or helping shape better behavior, my goal is always the same—happy, healthy pets and confident, informed owners who feel supported every step of the way. I’m currently working part time and home with my children 4 days a week and when I’m at my part time job I’m only there till 12pm. So I will have lots of time to spoil your fur babies with all the love and attention! I have worked in the veterinary field for over 7 years and currently working as a dog trainer part time your pets will always be properly taken care of and looked after with lots of play time and walks! If boarded in my home if I am not with them I would have them in a crate for rest times if not crate trained we can figure something out always open to help your pets feel the comfort of home away from home!

About: Hi there! I'm Farah. I have ample experience with all size dogs and an array of special needs dogs, including caring for disabled dogs, giving meds, and managing strict diets and feeding schedules. I’ll be there when promised and will provide updates and/or photos. I am comfortable with all breed sizes and will prioritize your dog's safety and comfort. My chorkie is attached to me so for any overnight or daytime boarding, he will be present unless otherwise stated. He is 6 pounds now and comfortable with cats and small to medium dogs. He is not fixed yet, so please let me know if your girl dog is not spayed. Weekdays: I am not available 8a-4p on weekdays due to my work schedule, but I am available before or after. For boarding, I can accept crate/pen trained dogs and I come home on break midday for walks and treats. I can't wait to meet your fur baby! I work Monday through Friday 8-4, but I'm free all day after and anytime on the weekends. I am also happy to pop in during my work day on lunch breaks. I'm flexible and can accommodate you and your pets' needs! I provide structure, care, love, and frequent walks for my dog and will treat yours the same way. I also love taking him on adventures to parks throughout Erie.

About: My name is Olivia and I am a long time animal lover. I have cared for dogs and cats practically my whole life and have experience in a lot of breeds ranging from poodles to pit bulls to Pomeranians. I have experience in administering medications. I am at home full time so that means plenty of love and attention for your fur baby. I will care for your pooch as if they were my own. I will send plenty of pictures and videos while you are away from your fur baby or babies. It is my goal to make pet parents feel at ease leaving their pooch in my care. I’m a stay at home mom so I have plenty of time to spare. I enjoy spending time with pets and making their days fun filled and exciting. I have thorough conversations with clients to make sure I follow their routines and rules. I like to get a good understanding of what is expected when caring for any pet.

I love that Cheyenne keeps in contact with me while she’s there to let me know how my pets are doing! And she takes excellent care of them when there too and follows up with a review of how the visit went. Cheyenne gives me peace of mind when she’s there!

Cheyenne did an excellent job of keeping me informed of how Prince Harry and Lennox were doing since this was their first experience with a pet sitter. She sent updates and pictures which I loved! She gained Prince Harry’s trust and let her take care of his needs which I really appreciated. I wasn’t sure if he would just hide under the bed and not come out. They both are rescues and are more afraid of people. Thank you Cheyenne for taking such great care of them! We are looking forward to having you watch our little ones again! Thank you so much Cheyenne!!!

Seemed to do everything asked. Only thing that wasn't great was that the times she came were up to 2 hours different from what I requested. We did talk about it beforehand but I didn't expect it to be every day

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Fairview choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Fairview with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

  • 100% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
