About: I have two dogs and a cat of my own which I've had for some time now. My youngest dog was taken in around 9 months and my oldest was a stray with lots of anxiety. I also have volunteered at Strayhaven for about a year, walking dogs and socializing cats. I'm capable of walking, playing, feeding, and helping with potty training or learning tricks. I'm a full time student with advanced classes so I spend a lot of time putting in the work for school. Aside from my sports season, I'm free most week days for walking and other care. I can only do overnights when I'm out of school. I can make meals, take them on walks, and play with them. I would love to help younger dogs socialize or learn basic tricks. I'm comfortable with working with anxious pets too.
About: With over a decade of hands‑on animal‑care experience, I bring a calm, knowledgeable approach to every pet I work with. I’m a Zoo Science major with training in behavior observation, enrichment planning, and safe handling techniques. I also train service dogs, so I’m comfortable with structured routines, behavior cues, and dogs who need a little extra patience. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, or a senior needing slow, gentle care, I’m here to make them feel safe and happy. I’m currently a full-time student with plenty of flexible time outside of class. I’m available on weekends and throughout weekdays between classes, making it easy to fit in walks, playtime, or drop-in visits whenever your pup needs me. Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. Whether in my care or yours, I provide a calm, pet-friendly environment, follow routines closely, and give extra patience, love, and attention to build trust and ensure your furry friend feels secure.
“Amber was amazing with dexter and we will definitely be booking again when we came home he was as very relaxed and calm which is an amazing sign especially with a new sitter!”

About: I have taken care and loved animals for as long as I can remember walking. Young, old, on a diet? I can do it all! I am a full time student at Youngstown State University. I currently am on summer break, and free about all week except for weekends. There is lots of space for pets to run on our property, and I will be attentive at all times! I have watched dogs at others houses for years, along with taking care of my own animals at home! I have administered medication intake for animals, followed strict diets, and made sure they all get their energy out! I prioritize making sure the pets feel safe in the environment as my biggest heartbreak is an animal's sadness!
About: I have grown up with dogs and cats in the house my whole life. I’ve helped raise my brother and sisters dogs when they were puppies l, and I currently own a 2 year old golden retriever who is pretty much my life. I have always been the go to pet sitter for my whole family and friends when they go out of town, and that has been my favorite compliment. I currently work full time and I am completely available any weekends or select days during the week before or after I work depending on the day! I am very well rounded when it comes to animals and can adapt pretty easily to any demands concerning your pet. I have no issues crating, feeding playing or walking your pet!
“Highly recommend! I’m new to the area and needed my cats watched for thanksgiving week and she was quick to respond and took amazing care of my cats. I’m not even back yet and I can tell my cats are happy from the pictures and cat cams. Was such a relief to not have to worry, will definitely book again!”

About: I can't remember a time in my life when I didn't have pets. I truly love caring for pets of all kinds. Dogs, cats, fish, etc... My schedule is extremely flexible, so I'm able to fit into whatever time slot is needed to best care for your pet, and keep them on a schedule. I feel the best way to care for pets is to earn their trust. It's never a good idea to force yourself on a pet, but to read their body language and take it from there.
About: I have been a dog walker on other dog walking sites (i.e. WAG) for a year, so I have experience with utilizing these services and taking care of your pets! I also have been dog sitting for years, for family and friends. I work full-time at home, so I am always available to take care of your pups! I don’t work on Fridays, so usually Friday through Sunday are best for dedicated dog walks! My wife, puppy, and I live in a duplex that has a very large private yard. Our puppy was born 4/5/2023, and is very friendly and playful.
About: I’ve taken care of animals of all kinds since before I was in elementary school. I have had a dog of my own for 10 years and I have been relied on by friends and family members to watch their animals when they are away. I’m currently a full-time college student at Ohio University, so taking care of pets is more of a weekend or holiday gig for me! I could fit a daily walk in to my schedule too! However you need me to care for your pets, I can do it! I am incredibly patient when it comes to animals and am willing to do just about anything to make them happy, comfortable, and well taken care of.

About: I’ve grown up around animals my entire life. My dad owned hunting dogs that we had trained ourselves, they were so loving of us kids and always enjoyed long walks in the woods and hours of play time. We’ve also had cats of every personality, from the fat house cats, to the crazy orange cats, to the shy barn cats, to the hunters who always brought us back a present. We would go to the farm every Sunday and feed the cows and pigs. We’d help our grandparents clean out the chicken coop and feed the hens. I’ve always had a big heart for animals of all shapes and sizes. I have experience with taking care of my own animals as well as long term and short term pet sitting. I’m experienced bathing and some grooming, I have owned a husky and a malamute and I’m not afraid of hair. I can also clean ears, teeth, and nail trimming but you must supply your own equipment. I currently work in the healthcare field and can provide care to puppies and senior dogs and special needs. I can administer medications, change dressings, and more. I work with Military and Police K9s and I’m trained in Animal CPR, First Aid, and Critical Care. I work 2 days a week, I am available at all times of the day and night. I can usually work in last minute scheduling and cancellations. Communication is key. I do not offer any in-house services at this time, but I will gladly come to your house! I prefer that your pet has a harness for walking rather than just a collar, as it is safer for me and your pet. Care will differ from client to client based upon what services you are looking for, just let me know!

I am unfortunately not offering any dogs to be in my home, due to the fact that my apartment doesn’t allow dogs without a fee. In a clients home I would treat it as my own!

About: I have grown up with all kinds of animals my whole life! I’ve dog sat for many people and I have rescued kittens. I love animals! I have three cats and one dog. I have a small yard for room to play. I always make sure my clients dog is within my sights while they stay with me or I am at a clients home. I don’t feel comfortable letting a clients dog run around doing things I don’t know about. I’m in clinical school therefore I am gone at least 8 hours a day during the week. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Sharpsville with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
