She was easy to reach, and super responsive. She included tons of pictures of the pugs - including outdoor time, belly rubs, and having fun w/out Mom and Dad :-) We felt totally at ease with Jade. About: I am COVID vaccinated and perfectly happy to mask up for meet and greets. I have 13+ years experience with a difficult and anxious dog. Im able to provide a calm presence for nervous/fearful dogs and I have years of experience with administering oral medications. I’ve had pets my whole life, ranging from cats to dogs to hamsters to rats. I work full time during the day, but I am able to do morning and evening check ins for your pets. I’m a daily cat box scooper in my own home. My weekend availability it higher for longer visits as needed. I am a big fan of maintaining as normal of a schedule as possible for your pets. I’m happy to indulge any quirks (I’ve wiped bottoms after potty breaks) that your pet may have so we can have the best experience together.

“10/10 I will definitely be reaching out to rebook in the future! I had Madelyn drop in to check on my dogs during the day, and right from our meet and greet I knew they would be in great hands:) She is very professional and great with communication. She sent photos of the dogs during her visit which made me feel at ease knowing my dogs were being well cared for while I was away!”

“Michelle did a drop in visit for our dog over a busy Friday Holiday. She sent pictures, communicated with us very well and came by to meet our dog and figure out the house enough for our needs. We were very happy with her service and so was our pooch! It feels good to be able to leave our pup for the day with someone kind and trustworthy. Thanks Michelle!”

“Emily is so thoughtful and caring when looking after our two cats. Not only does she check all the “food and water” maintenance boxes, but she takes the extra measure to comfort and play with them—making sure they’re happy and healthy while were away. You can tell she truly cares for animals!”

About: I was a dog owner and primary caretaker of my family dog for around a decade. I’ve always taken care of friends’ dogs for as long as I can remember. I’m patient, understanding, and not overbearing to dogs. I love spending time with dogs—giving them much needed exercise or just hanging out. I’m moving to the East Coast for a new job at the end of the month, so these next two weeks are super free and flexible for me! In my client’s home, I never disrupt the space. I respect it as the client’s and as the dog’s. I’m patient and slow as the dog gets to know me, and I earn you and your dog’s trust! Above all, I maintain cleanliness and respect.

About: Hello friends! I am a student that works in the medical field. I specialize in psychology and training of special needs/high energy breeds, large dogs, puppies, as well as cats. I have a history of animal husbandry including show/farm animals and training medical service animals. I have also worked in a research setting with primates! It’s been some of the best work of my life! A pet is as unique as their owner and each animal has distinct needs, and expected routines. From one animal lover to another, allow me to entrust your family member as part of my pack. When I am with an animal(s) aside from needing to leave for errands, or checking in on my pets, I’ll be staying in the home! I have a fully fenced back yard bordering a forest, and a large dog run. No matter if you have a fence digger - this fence is sunk into the ground!

About: Raising and caring for dogs has been a part of my life since I was 15 years old. I worked at an overnight boarding facility for years, caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and conditions. I kept the dogs active with several daily walks and play time, handled feeding requirements, cleaning, and socializing with other dogs. I am a very active person and enjoy running, hiking, and gardening. I own the home where I live, we have a large front and backyard that are completely fenced in. I currently work from home and have plenty of time to be a caring companion for your pup. I am a dog person through and through! Pet care really defines my daily routine, in fact my schedule is built around it! Working from home allows me to be with my two year old, Cavalier King Charles, Cooper, all day making sure he gets multiple walks, fresh meals, play time, nap time, and grooming time. He eats a raw diet so I prepare his food for him using high quality organ meat, bones, fruits and veggies. Our routine has lots of room for more furry friends! I have a large fenced in front and back yard with lots of space to run and play, turf areas, and trees that offer nice shade. I have a sweet, two year old, male Cavalier King Charles that loves to be with other dogs and is looking forward to having more friends to be companions with. We have easy access to go on walks and visit local parks. I also have reliable transportation that allows me to easily travel to check on your pup, give them potty time, a walk, feed them, or whatever else they might need.

“Thank you Savannah! Instantly felt good vibes from you and knew that Peterkitty would be in good hands. You followed my directions well and I came home to a very happy and overly affectionate cat lol Really appreciate you!”

About: I have been a lifelong pet owner from a dog, cat, and rodent-friendly family! I have administered meds to senior pets (pills and injectible), cared for pets with special needs (epilepsy, diabetes, chronic pain, mobility issues), and cared for pets with behavioral issues which require extra patience and empathy. I work part-time with a regular schedule of 20-25 hrs a week. I am sometimes available mid-day (noon-1pm) and always available after 5pm and on weekends (Friday-Sunday)! I am a emotionally aware pet parent and like to focus on my dogs getting the attention and exercise that they need to thrive. It is important to me not to stress and animal by taking them too far out of their routine and comfort zone.

“Isabella is incredibly communicative, flexible, and helpful. She obviously loves pets and keeps their best interest in mind. Our dog is a barker and takes a while to accept new people. She handled it well. We would definitely have her check on our dogs again in the future.”

About: I'm extremely reliable. I will do what I say I will do. And I will treat your pet with utmost care and lots of love. I am not working regular hours so I am available almost anytime. I can come and go as you need for your pets! Always with a positive attitude! I will be on task 100% of the time. Whatever is needed and whatever is wanted. I can be counted on to do it reliably!

About: I believe my 2 years in vet med has provided me exceptional knowledge in order to provide the best care for your pets. I practice everyday at work to notice even the smallest of changes in my patients. I, of course, am always making sure they’re comfortable and am always advocating for them! I also would be more than to happy to provide some play time, administer any meds or any other special routines! Similar to when I’m at work, I provide care for my own pets at home. Making sure they have food, water, clean bedding, and making sure they’re comfortable are extremely important to me! My experience in veterinary medicine has provided me with the knowledge to notice small changes or abnormalities in animals. I will be sure to contact you ASAP if I notice any abnormalities!

About: Hello! I am 28 years young, originally from WA. I have lots of time to play and snuggle with your best friend, as I am a new grad and won’t be starting work until August 4th. I have had a very special connection with animals ever since I was a small child. I've had so much fun growing and learning over the years with many dogs as well as snakes, horses, hamsters, rabbits, & cats. I grew up mainly around Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Shih Tzu, Mini Yorkie's and English Bulldogs, but I'm comfortable with all dog sizes/types and cats! I currently have one cat that I'm able to love up on everyday and one cat who recently went to kitty heaven 🤍 We have lots of room in our home and lovely community to host your fur baby :) We live right across from Edgefield so the dogs will have access to tons of walks/play time. I can’t wait to meet you guys! Thanks for reading & hope to hear from you soon. I am a new grad with a toddler who is in school 3 days a week, so I have tons of time to help others. We ensure that our kitty Biscuit receives all the nutrients, love, and care he needs with grooming, lots of toys, and a proper diet. In a clients home , and mine, I ensure routines are followed to reduce anxiety.

“Corey is absolutely amazing. He goes above and beyond to care for our puppy, and Morhan ADORES him. We love having Corey as part of our family, and that's exactly how he treats us and our baby.”

About: I have taken care of furry family members my whole life and enjoy their company and do what I can to make them feel loved. I love all animals; you can trust that they will not only be taken care of, but they will be loved. One thing I do enjoy most about pet sitting is the play time. Having one dog of my own I will only be accepting one dog at a time (however I will accept 2 dogs from the same owner). I have a 9 year old Vizsla. He will play for a bit but since he's older he likes to chill as well. I can take your dog on a run or a walk, whatever you prefer. I live in a house with a fenced yard and have 2 teenagers that will help take care of the dogs as well. I work from home so am available most of the day. I will send you pics of all the fun your pup is having! Thanks We work from home so someone is always here for your dogs needs. They will also be included in our daily walks, runs or hikes. We have a fenced yard and a house they can relax in with us. They will be a part of everything we do. They are welcome on our beds or if they are more comfortable with a crate we can do that as well. Requested information about your pet Is your dog crate trained/enjoy being in their crate(its not required). Does your dog like kids and other dogs? Do they like adventures(parks and hiking)? Special food or food they can't have. It also really helps me when your profile is filed out fully so I can easily see what I need to know about them and their daily lives so its a quick reference for me when they stay here. My yard is fully fenced in if my home is used for boarding and there is always someone home especially during the week as we work from home.

Ashley K.
“Ashley is the kind of person who both loves my dogs, but also makes sure they know she means business too. She's the leader of the pack. If it's time to play, she's there throwing the ball, giving belly rubs, and heaping praise. If it's time to obey, she's there with a firm instance that it's time to sit, or focus while walking nice on the leash. Dogs learn real quick that when it's time to obey, there's no funny business. I absolutely trust Ashley with my dogs at any time. She's responsible, capable, and doesn't let my energetic dogs walk all over her. She's great!”

Tiffany W.
“Having grown up with animals, Tiffany is a huge pet lover and will no doubt show your animals the care and affection they deserve while you are away.”

Christina C.

“Christine is better than any sitter I’ve tried here, I found her on Wag with over 70 five star reviews but the prices here are better so I hope this review gets her even more traffic although she seems to be high in demand for a reason!!! I have two Great Danes and one of them is getting older. I travel for work and so they stay with her two weekends a month. get professional level pictures, I actually have one framed, she sends tons of videos and pictures and her fiancé actually built a ramp for Pongo so he can get up the stairs more easily. One day she will be Dr. Christine and I’m sure we’ll see her then too. She is our Dr. Doolittle.”

Claire K.
“Claire is absolutely fantastic with dogs! Her genuine love and care for our four-legged friends are truly remarkable. I've seen her effortlessly connect with dogs of all breeds and personalities, creating an instant bond built on trust and affection. Whether it's playtime at the park or a calm evening stroll, Claire's patience and attentiveness shine through, making every interaction enjoyable for both the dogs and their owners. Her dedication to understanding their needs and ensuring their comfort is unparalleled. Any pup would be lucky to have Claire as their companion!”

“Alysha has petsat for us many times for as many as 5 dogs and 3 cats. She's taken care of seniors with a whole regiment of medications and done excellent. All pets love her as she's so calm and great with them. Cannot recommend her enough. Very reliable and takes great care of my babies.”

Laurie O.
“I have known Laurie for many years. I know the way she lovingly cared for her cats throughout their long lives. I have always had dogs and Laurie always loved to come visit, playing and walking with them. I wish we lived closer so she could take care of my dog now.”

Destiny G.
“My name is Sarah and I am a registered veterinary technician and I worked with Destiny at Access, an emergency animal hospital. Destiny truly cares about the animal care and treats other animals as her own. She’s always ready to help out, dependable, and overall a hard worker. I would trust her to take care of my own animals because of how patient she is with them and I know they would be receiving the best care.”

T'Quirah W.
“T’Quirah has a lot of shining attributes. The love and respect that she shows to an animal, any animal, is nothing shy of heartwarming. I adopted my dog, Bailey, about a year ago, and she was abused before I got her. I knew she would need a lot of love. The connection that Bailey and T’Quirah have cultivated is so great. T’Quirah considers the animals feelings and genuinely cares if they’re happy or not. Bailey doesn’t trust just anybody… But she trusts T’Quirah. I’ll never let anyone else watch Bailey.”

Corey S.

“Corey is absolutely amazing. He goes above and beyond to care for our puppy, and Morhan ADORES him. We love having Corey as part of our family, and that's exactly how he treats us and our baby.”

“Blair is highly reliable, friendly and very good with pets. Especially dogs:) He treats the pets he is caring for as if they were his own. I would highly recommend him.”
Fairview dog parents share their Rover experiences
Nathan was my first sitter on Rover and has set the bar high with his exceptional care for my two high energy dogs. He is flexible, caring, and accommodating to their unique needs. He is able to match their individual energy levels and play styles and tailor visits to their preferences. Nathan is communicative and overall a joy to work with.

Justin provided some drop-in visits for our three pets (2 dogs/1cat), accommodated an inconvenient schedule, and got our older dog with medical issues to take her medication. There was an immediate positive connection between Justin and one of our dogs that is slow to trust; face kisses and everything. :) Our cat who normally hides with new people also came out to greet Justin during the visits! Great updates with pictures helped us relax while we were away. We will absolutely seek Justin out for our pet care needs in the future!
