In addition to growing up with both cats and dogs, I’ve played an active role in raising and training not only my own pets but those of friends and family as well. Currently, I work as a critical care nurse at an emergency animal hospital, where I care for both dogs and cats in critical situations. With several years of veterinary experience, I’m confident administering medications—oral or injectable—and monitoring pets with medical needs. About: Animals are my biggest passion and taking amazing care of them is my job. I have had a variety of personal pets and have professionally cared for many different species. I have worked at vet clinics, zoos, an aquarium, and a wildlife rehab facility. I have experience administering oral medications, sub-q and IM injections, sub-q fluids, nail trims, etc. I also have experience with positive reinforcement training. I am only available for drop in visits in the early mornings and evenings due to my abnornal work schedule. My weekends are Thursday/Friday, so I am available for additional visits on those days. I am extremely safety minded and always double check every lock and leash. Having good observational skills is a big part of my zookeeper job. Doing visual body scans, safety and perimeter checks are automatic for me.

Tuesday - Thursday: I get out of work at 3pm, so I'm available after that til around 9pm. Weekend: availability varies, early booking increases availability :) I prioritize pets' safety at all times. When walking dogs, I always secure leashes/harnesses and keep them away from potential hazards such as traffic, other animals, or other (potential) harmful objects. For cats, I'll make sure they are in a safe, enclosed space during visit, and I handle them gently to reduce stress. I observe all pets' behavior and status closely to ensure they are comfortable and unstressed. I'll follow care instructions for feeding, playing, and daily routines. I keep owners updated with pictures and messages, so they know how their pets are doing.

About: I've had multiple dogs of all sizes and personalities since I was a kid. From as small as a Pomeranian to as big as a black lab, I love all dogs and what their personalities offer. My pups are rather active and walks and frisbee sessions are normal, but I love hanging out with them on the couch while watching a movie just as much. Pups are apart of my every day life. I work from home and so my 'coworkers' are my dogs, but I am also planning my schedule around how to take the best care of them. They love running and playing out in the open, so I am constantly thinking how we can live our best lives together. We have a set schedule on eating and outside breaks, but love living life to the fullest in between. I have a fenced in yard, exercise my dogs daily, and always give them the love and attention they need. My dogs have access to a doggie door, are allowed on the furniture and bed, and are constantly looking out the front window saying hello to other dog walkers and neighbors.

About: I have had a dog all of my life. I also have a cat named Richard who acts like a dog. One of America’s greatest past times, in my opinion, is a good ole fashioned walk around the block with a nice hound. This also includes a nice poo pick-up here and there, of course. Ever since I was a little child, there was nothing I loved more in life than coming home from school to play with our dog. Even to this day, I love coming home to walk/play with my mom’s two dogs. There is no better feeling in the world than the look on a dogs face when you propose the idea of a nice stroll around the block with them by your side.
