About: I've been around cats and dogs for a majority of my life, with all types of ages, activity levels, and personalities. I have dog-sat for family and friends multiple times and I would often volunteer at my local Human Society as a Cat Socializer I currently have a flexible schedule, which gives me plenty of time to provide your pets with the attention and care they need. I'm happy to work with you to find a schedule that fits both you and your pets, whether that means regular drop-in visits, walks, or care while you're away. I'll make sure your pets receive plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship during each visit. Your pets' safety and comfort are my top priorities. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, so I'll take the time to learn what works best for them and follow your instructions carefully. I'm attentive to things like feeding schedules, medications if applicable, bathroom breaks, walks, and any special routines you provide. When caring for pets in their own home, I'll treat your home with the same respect and care that I give your pets. About: One of my greatest joys is seeing happy dogs with big smiles and full body wags. I understand the stress and anxiety that comes with leaving your fur babies at home while being away and I would love to be there comfort while you are gone!! I have experience with all different breeds, sizes, temperaments, and ages! I have had my own dogs from the beginning fun puppy stages, to the softness of there senior years, and held them in my arms on their final journey. I am more than capable of giving liquid or oral medication, following special dietary needs, or noticing any pain/ discomfort your fur babies need. I also have experience with giving shots, ear and eye drops, wound care, and mobility help as I have had special needs dogs. I’m currently full time pet care, and house sitting. My schedule is readily available and completely open to assist with overnight stays, walking, hiking, playing, and cuddles! I will follow any specific directives given, as I know the stress and heartache of being separated from each other. I understand the importance of routine in an animals life. Currently I have two fur babies and know structure and consistency is key. As well as an abundance of love and quality time with each other. My dogs are truly my best friends and I look forward to loving yours as my own.

About: Hi! I’m Jeff I currently have 8yo black/white male Husky named Thorik and a 5yo red/white female Husky named Willow. Willow is actually my sisters dog and stays with her, but her and Thorik are together every day out at our family’s place. They are both well balanced dogs and will get along with anyone who decides to come for a visit. They will kiss you to death though so be prepared! I live on my family’s 180 acre old farm in the country just outside of the Otsego/Alamo area. I am out there every single day, especially in the Summer months, so that Thorik has a safe place to play and swim if he wants. Should you decide to book with me, and with your permission, your pets can enjoy unlimited fenced in yard time along with as much swimming as they’d like! I currently work for a Petcare provider here in Kalamazoo. My week consist of multiple visits for multiple clients a day, this does however allow me plenty of time throughout the day to return home and take care of anything I need to, your pets included! Out at the farm I do have a fenced in backyard away from the road that provides the dogs, a safe, secure place to play. Any time the dogs are not outside playing, or they are at my apartment in the evenings, they are inside the house with me free to do as they please.

Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
