About: I have been in the veterinary medicine field for about 4 years now between working in small animal and large animal clinics over the years as well as through school at Michigan State University. I have been trained to minister care for all cats/dogs of all breeds/sizes. If your pet has any health issues such as diabetes or has hit senior years, no worries! New puppy paws running around? Glad to be of assistance to help them learn better manners and play til the nap! I am a full time Veterinary Technician at a local veterinary hospital in Kalamazoo. My schedule is a typical “8-5” job and have an 1 hr break for lunch during that time. I can be very flexible since I have some free days during the week and can provide care for your pets around my schedule. I’m free most weekends but work from 8-2 on some Saturdays. Since I am not able to keep your pets in my home due to space, I will treat your home with all respect. If you have places and boundaries that are set, they will be followed accordingly. If your pet or myself makes a mess, it will be cleaned up immediately! I have a pet cleaner machine and products to get pet stains out in a jiffy!
About: We have a good sized house which we share with our sweet rescue dog, Penelope, 2 kittens, Lilo and Stitch and our almost 2 year old daughter. I offer dog walking, sitting, overnight, part day hang outs and even training! We live near several parks that are dog friendly which we frequent regularly. I've always lived with dogs but began training the family and neighbor's dogs around the age of 10. I want to make note that I understand it is a big responsibility to care for someone else's fur child and that I take it very seriously. I am home each day with my young daughter who is great with animals but in case you prefer she stay separate, we have gates and even a heated barn if full separation is needed. Our old girl has free rein of the house, even our kitties get outside every once in a while but we have the ability to set up a small fenced in area or a zip line style tether, and of course walks as needed. We love to snuggle all furry friends but also know some prefer their space.
About: I enjoy spending time with animals. My dogs are my sidekicks and there’s always time for friends! The more personality the better! There’s always time for play time. I work full time so my availability is pretty set but I also can be flexible. I do this out of passion, not for money I have a fenced yard and three levels in my house. “Barbara was FANTASTIC!! I strongly recommend her. My fiance and I went to Florida for our spring break and I was scrambling to find someone to watch my dog and chickens. When I reached out to Barbara, she was quick to respond and set up a meet and greet right away. She took care of Lester AND my chickens (she let the chickens out in the morning and closed the coop at night). She came to my house twice a day. Her price per visit is very reasonable and she does more than what's expected. Most importantly, she takes a ton of pictures!! Seeing pictures morning and afternoon of my dog and chickens eased my mind and made me happy. She's GREAT with animals and is very experienced. About: Has to be able to get along with other dogs if being brought to my home. It’s fine if dogs or cats need special care I am going to give them my all and make sure they enjoy there time so they come back, all animals are welcome and loved with me. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
