“I could not recommend daizee enough! I’ve never left my dogs home for any reason and have missed out on a lot because of it. She came highly recommended from a good friend so I figured I’d give it a shot. To say I was nervousness was an understatement but her first day she sent me a Rover card at every visit! Coming home after 5 days, I have no apprehension about having her look after my pups again and I certainly will, if they haven’t scared her off! ?Thank you daizee!”

About: I've had a lot of experience taking care of dogs of all ages. Growing up, we always had several dogs. I would always do the basic stuff you think about, like walking the dogs, feeding the dogs, etc. Ideally, this is what I will be doing for work. I can fit pet care into my schedule and whatever time helps me best do the job. The most important thing would be to follow any directions given to me by the pet owner. After all, they know the pet best. From there, it is about using basic pet care skills that I know I have.

“McKayla was awesome with our dog. Checked in when she got there and let us know when she's left and took plenty of pictures. Our dog loves her and we will be using her again.”

“Leah did a wonderful job making sure Munchie and Oreo were fed and watered daily per our request. Munchie enjoyed having some extra pets while we were on vacation. Over all we are very pleased with the service Leah provided. We will use again for our next extended vacation”

About: From a young age, I've always been happier with a dog around. I've had years of experience owning and caring for dogs. Our family is currently run by 3 giant German Shepherds, and we wouldn't have it any other way ☺️ Over the last 3 years we have had the incredible experience of bringing two of Nala and Koda's litters into the world... hence our newest addition Lucy! That being said I have plenty of experience with puppy care and cleaning. While I do work a full time job, I always have weekends and weekly afternoons available for dog walks and pet care. *available for sitting/dog walking Pet care in my own home would unfortunately not be available. I am open to pet care in a client's home as needed. I am a reliable dog mom of three and boy mom so I believe I would be able to handle any requests or environment.

About: I have experience in working in a vet clinic and on a local farm of large animals. I have been trained to minister care for all cats/dogs of all breeds/sizes. If your pet has any health issues such as diabetes or has hit senior years, no worries! New puppy paws running around? Glad to be of assistance to help them learn better manners and play til the nap! I am a full time student at Michigan State University. I am very flexible and can provide care for your pets around my schedule. I have a few online classes on Wednesdays so I can stay at home with your pets and currently have no classes on Friday! I have 1-2hr gaps between classes where I can let out and check up on your pets if needed. I’m free on the weekends as well. Since I am not able to keep your pets in my home due to space, I will treat your home with all respect. If you have places and boundaries that are set, they will be followed accordingly. If your pet or myself makes a mess, it will be cleaned up immediately! I have a pet cleaner machine and products to get pet stains out in a jiffy!

About: There has never been a time in my life where I was not a doting caregiver for at least one dog in my home. I am proficient in any tasks included in caring for any canine! This includes poop scooping, accident clean-up, brushing, adhering to feeding and walking schedules, and more. I am also open to, and comfortable with, medical situations such as administering medications or accommodating the needs of a disabled/older dog. Above all else, I challenge myself always to allow dogs, and all animals, to find a space of comfort around me. I volunteer at least twice a week walking dogs at a local animal shelter, which has allowed me to gain experience with dogs of varying sizes and temperaments on walks and maintenance. I'm currently home from college for the summer, and right now I am in the process of looking for a part-time job. With that being said, my schedule is wide open! I have plenty of time, and few other obligations to worry about other than the utmost care possible for your pet(s). Due to the presence of one dog who does not like strangers at my home, I only offer house sitting and drop-ins currently! I have worked in a variety of home environments and am willing to work in any situation. My phone is on at all times for owner concerns, and I am willing to send pictures of the animal at request! I strictly follow rules and guidelines pertaining to animal care, and aim to make it a comfortable and positive space for me, the animal(s) and the owner at all times.

“She did amazing. I had to stay a little longer and she covered the extra time. 😁”

I also work as a groomer on the side so if that’s something you are interested in let me know! I’ve had and worked with animals of all types from a young age. However dogs are my soft spot. I can’t express into words the joy these animals bring into my life. My job allows me the flexibility of time and travel! I also have coached and played soccer for many years so being active is a goal of mine! Each client will be a different case and have different needs. I will do whatever’s requested in a professional, friendly, and loving manor. Also previously being a property manager I know the proper way to care when in someone else’s home. Also having worked in vet med I know how to safely care for your pet.

“Barbara was FANTASTIC!! I strongly recommend her. My fiance and I went to Florida for our spring break and I was scrambling to find someone to watch my dog and chickens. When I reached out to Barbara, she was quick to respond and set up a meet and greet right away. She took care of Lester AND my chickens (she let the chickens out in the morning and closed the coop at night). She came to my house twice a day. Her price per visit is very reasonable and she does more than what's expected. Most importantly, she takes a ton of pictures!! Seeing pictures morning and afternoon of my dog and chickens eased my mind and made me happy. She's GREAT with animals and is very experienced. She knows what she's doing and has a kind/loving personality. Next time I go out of the state, I will definitely use her as my sitter. Hands-down. Thanks Barbara!! Hope you'll continue doing this.”

About: While I am new to Rover, I am determined to take good care of whatever animals I encounter. I’ve had animals my whole life, from snakes, lizards, rats, cats and dogs. I understand that it’s important to respect not only each animals space and preferences but listen to owners instructions, rereading even if I’ve pet sit for them multiple times. I’ve pet sat for dogs with severe anxiety, old dogs that poop and pee around the house. I’ve even pet sit and fed horses, a donkey and a mule. So no animal is too big or odd for me. I have experience with reptiles as well, growing up with snakes, and owning a bearded dragon myself, I know how to feed, clean and interact with them all. While taking care of animals I always respect the household, even hand cleaning dishes, sweeping or brushing a pets fur. I am in my junior year of college and work a part time job on campus with classes, this means I don’t have a strict schedule for the whole year and am quite flexible with times. Before I take jobs I make sure it works, and if I accept and it doesn’t work for me, I keep to my promise and the owners instructions and move my own schedule around if I need to. I am only able to pet sit at a clients house. However, I always read and learn an owners instructions and obey their time preferences and schedules for their animals, even if I have to wake up at 4am and adapt to anything a pet needs. While I can’t take care of any animals in my personal home, I make sure to keep spaces clean and not touch things in houses unless given permission.

About: Ever since I was a child, I’ve had a deep love for animals of all kinds! I’ve grown up with dogs, birds, and a family cat at one point. Over the years, I’ve watched family, friends, peers furr babies. As a proud United States Army Veteran, integrity is incredibly important to me, and I bring that same dedication and care to everything I do. Whether it’s a game of fetch, a leisurely walk, or some well-deserved cuddles, I’ll treat your pet as if they were my own. I can’t wait to meet your furry loved one and give them all the love and attention they deserve. I currently own an 7 month old Australian Shepherd Cashew “Cash” Pet care fits seamlessly into my routine since I work from home and only need WiFi. This flexibility allows me to provide your pet with plenty of attention, care, and time throughout the day! I currently provide pet care by visiting your homes, ensuring your pets are comfortable and well cared for in their own comfortable environment. While I don’t offer in-home sitting yet.. I’m hoping to add that option in the future . just working on convincing my fiancé! 😅

She’s a wonder sitter and I will hire her again!”

10. Miles W.
“Hello, Miles is a very conscientious pet caregiver, he has grown up helping us raise dogs, cats, chickens, turkeys, on our small hobby farm. We showed our turkeys and goats for 3 years at the 4H fair in Centreville and he was very mindful of the care and cleanliness of our 4H clubs animals, plus some of the turkeys one year when they looked hungry and stressed. He seems to read the animals body language and knows how to approach them. He helped save a baby bird once as well and turned it loose when was ready. He takes excellent care of our animals, he actually carried his turkeys to the show pen at the fair! He is a very on hands pet sitter, absolutely makes sure the pets are clean, comfortable and that they are safe.”

“Helen is awesome! She watched our 2 labs and coonhound. It was our first time leaving the youngest dog and having three to leave with someone made me a little nervous because they can be a lot… But Helen put me at ease while we were gone, sent me pictures of our pups and treated them like they were her own. One of our dogs needs daily meds and is a pain about taking them, but Helen had it under control and got him to take them each night. Highly recommend her for any type of pet care you need!”

19. Jacklyn A.
“Jacklyn is one of a kind! The absolute BEST with my beagle, Waylon. She gives him his morning and afternoon walks, ALL of the snuggles, and makes sure he is fed while I’m at work. She cleans up after herself AND Waylon. The house is cleaner when I come home from work than it was when I left, thanks to Jack! No one I would trust more with my fur baby ❤️”

20. Daniel H.
“Danny watched Bliss and Bella while we went away for a father's day week trip. We had him come over, meet the dogs and they loved him right away. He is such a natural with dogs and I felt comfortable with him right away. Our dogs are fed a raw food diet and have treat allergies, but none of this scared him away! (Which we were very thankful for) He was on time, let the dogs out multiple times a day, kept up on their normal schedule, played outside with them and even gave them puppy massages! Our dogs were well taken care of and I would recommend anyone to have their dogs watched by Danny! He was amazing and made leaving for vacation so much easier!!”
