We live across from Eagle Lake with a large wraparound fully fenced-in yard overlooking 15 private forested acres with trails for leashed nature walks. We have oodles of experience walking, camping, hiking, swimming, and playing with dogs in all environments and elements. Crates and gates are available if your best friend needs their space, but everybody is allowed to make themselves at home. We have lots of cozy nooks and beds. We work to ensure smooth introductions. Our home is very dog-friendly but to that end, kept very clean. We do tick checks and our girls are always up to date with their vaccinations and preventative meds. JIC, we have reliable transportation and are not far from Michiana Veterinary Hospital. We are also able to drive to your preferred vet.

Sonny took my black fur ball of rage and distrust and made sure he had his medicine and space as pepper can be a bit "much" she gave lots of pictures and updates and was available within 2 days of booking which I desperately needed. She also worked with me as my family trip had gotten derailed when our car broke down and was willing to watch him for a bit longer as we figured out how to get home. About: I grew up on a farm surrounded by animals of all kinds, which gave me a deep respect for and understanding of animal care from a young age. While I love all pets, cats have always held a special place in my heart. I’m experienced with a wide range of feline personalities from energetic kittens to independent or shy adults and I’m patient, calm, and attentive to their individual needs.
About: I’ve always been around animals, and my family has owned several pets since I was around 12; everything from german shepherds to frogs and fishes. I’ve helped train, care for, and love all of our animals. I know what it takes to discipline, but also care for pets, while creating an environment that your animal is comfortable in. My outside experience mostly includes dog sitting for friends and neighbors, though I do not discriminate when it comes to any 4-legged furry friend! I currently work part-time nights and am in nursing school. This allows me to have most weekends off, a couple of days off during the week, and most nights. Creating safety and trust with animals is always key. With new animals, I’m always sure to let them sniff me out and feel the vibes before we move along with anything else. I am able to supply treats, leashes, or garbage backs if needed when walking dogs.

About: I've cared for both healthy cats and cats with underlying conditions. For 10 years I had a cat that was diabetic that I had to administer insulin to. My current cat is 15 and requires a lot of love and attention.My cat Mabel is a rescued kitten/ cat almost 16 years ago on Halloween night while coming home from work , about 4 cars ahead of me something went flying out the window . I was able to stop and pull over due to not having other cars behind me . It was very cold that night and the sun was just starting to set . I got out of my car and looked around for a few minutes but didn't see anything and I got ready to leave I hear faint cry and I turned and looked down into some tall weeds and there she was , this poor malnourished kitten crying for help . To make a long story short I got her home and the day my wife and I took her to vet . They kept her for 3 days running ivs into her . We able to come and after 3 days thinking she wasn't going make it. And here she is still with after such a traumatic start to her life . I am very grateful to have Mabel as my best friend and wouldn't trade for the world . I love you very much Mabel .

I want to make note that I understand it is a big responsibility to care for someone else's fur child and that I take it very seriously. About: For several years I owned a Doggy B and B where the dogs were part of my family. There were no cages or crates which the owners really appreciated. They slept in bed with me, jumped and lounged on all the furniture, watched TV, ate plenty of homemade treats, went swimming in the pool and don't forget the car rides to the park and river. Every weekend I would shop for new, safe and tough toys. We celebrated holidays and birthdays with homemade pupcakes, presents and costumes. They also got a "report" card saying how their day was and what they did that day or weekend. There were lots of pictures taken and shared too. Areas and toys were thoroughly inspected each day to ensure a safe and fun playtime. I love pets! All kinds of them. Your pet will get my undivided attention. I bring toys & treats plus send lots of pictures while you're away. That way you can enjoy our pawty too. Since I can't have pets in my home, I'll come to your pet's home. I care for them like they are mine. Give them lots of pets, play with toys inside & outside, walk them on a leash several times a day, watch TV with them & most importantly, share the bed at night. About: I volunteer at a shelter almost weekly, so I have tons of experience with different dog breeds and knowledge of administering pills and eye/ear drops! I work part-time currently, so I’m available Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I can also check in on Saturday and Sunday depending on the time when I work! I currently work part-time nights and am in nursing school. This allows me to have most weekends off, a couple of days off during the week, and most nights. Creating safety and trust with animals is always key. With new animals, I’m always sure to let them sniff me out and feel the vibes before we move along with anything else. I am able to supply treats, leashes, or garbage backs if needed when walking dogs.
About: I have taken care of my childhood cat and dogs for 7 years , and also my own for 2 years and client dogs for 1 year I am at my primary job 8am-4pm and I work every other weekend and every other Wednesday I am working 9am-12pm. I also have farm animals after work. I always have food and water for my animals available for them. I love taking my dog for car rides and loving on him. And I love showing affection and love to my clients animals.

About: Hi! I am a second year college student, looking for an extra side hustle! I absolutely adore dogs, I have two, and one in heaven. I am just in school and work as a server on the side, so my schedule is slightly inconsistent but I have some free time every single day no matter what. I can also adjust hours at the restaurant to fit clients needs! I live at home right now, which is also quite lonely, so I wouldn’t mind taking care of some cute fur babies in my extra time!!! I only have one in person class, 9-11 on mondays! I work 3-6 days a week at the restaurant, varying from morning shifts to night- however I am totally okay adjusting my availability for the next week as long as I know the pet sitting schedule!! My schedule is pretty flexible! I have two dogs and one cat. We have an electric fence, but our dogs are pretty good and honestly don’t really need it. I get them tons of exercise everyday (at least one walk and one dog park visit) and I love them more than anything!
About: I get along with all dogs that are well behaved or not! I have had dogs my entire life, and many other pets as well! I love dogs the most, but l love all animals! I'm available m-s from am to pm! I work from home and am able to make my own schedule! Which is really nice, so if I'm needed morning or evenings I'm almost always available! I use positive reinforcement whenever possible, and always try and make sure dogs are using their manners, and best behavior. I am comfortable with dogs that need a little extra time to warm up to strangers as well, I have been around dogs my entire life with my own, friends and families! I love training and agility and all things dog! I have watched many videos on how to administer CPR and first aid. But have taken no classes. I have experienced a few accidents in my day with dogs, seizures, cuts, etc. So I have some experience in some things, but not anything to serious.
About: I have been taking care of dogs all of my life. Yrs ago I worked at an pet resort and LOVED IT! I was a dog groomer for 5yrs. I own a Chihuahua, black Lab, 3 cats, 6 chickens and a rabbit. I love all breeds and sizes. I have taken care of dogs with daily medication. I know how to give dog pills if needed. I treat all animals like they are part of the family. I love to see their different personalities. Taking care of dogs is not a job to me it is a pleasure to be able to spend time with them and take care of them. Doggies make me happy :-) I currently work part time but even when I am not home there's usually someone home. I can take care of animals before or after work if needed. I am very attentive when I take care of animals. I refuse to be outside without them being on a leash. I watch carefully for signs of what they are needing. Always give plenty of love and I love getting kisses!
