My goal is to provide an enriching but calming experience for your pets while you’re away so you can have peace of mind. I have owned pets since I was a kid, and have also spent over a decade riding and caring for horses. I have experience administering medication to cats, and am meticulously observant about any behavioral changes. My husband and I own our own company, and I work from home full-time, so my schedule is extremely flexible. This also allows me to bring my work to your house and spend extra quality time with your pets. My goal is to provide an enriching but calming experience for your pets while you’re away so you can have peace of mind while you travel. I have experience giving medications to both dogs and cats, and I monitor pets closely for any behavioral changes. I have four of my own and I would adopt more if my husband would win the lottery and buy us a dog farm lol. I do not mix my dogs with your pets to ensure safety of all puppers! I will care for your pet(s) just like I would any of mine. I don't have children, I have fur babies :-) My house has a large fenced backyard with trees and is just like being in the woods. I will follow the instructions you leave for me, feed them at the times that you request, and dispense any medication as instructed. I am great with communication and will absolutely send you pictures and updates throughout the day because Id want them as well! I work from home and my schedule is very flexible, so I will be able to check on the babies all day and play as needed. If I am coming to your home overnight, I will need access to wifi for work, that is mandatory. I would love to take care of and play with your furbabies; they’re family too. I have a fenced in backyard, but I can also leash walk your pets as needed. We also have a great nature trail within 5 minutes of my home for higher energy dogs.

I currently have a 4 year old lab mix who is nervous around strangers, but he loves to play with other dogs. My daughter is currently 13 months old, so if your pet will be in my home, all I ask is that they are potty trained and can be good/gentle with kids, for my daughter’s safety. Our dog is an indoor/outdoor dog. He spends most of his time inside, but he likes to play outside in our fenced in yard during the day as long as the weather is good. We have a screened-in porch with a fan for him to rest in while he is outside, too. He is free to go in and out of it as he pleases. Our dog is free-fed, but we are also used to following feeding schedules from caring for our elderly dog who recently passed, as well as my family’s dogs. I provide a safe, supervised, and loving home environment with consistent care and attention. If desired, I can offer daily walks, whether your pets are boarding with me or receiving drop-in visits. I can also play fetch and provide medication administration, as I have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Every dog deserves companionship and care. I can ensure they receive plenty of affection, attention, and individualized care from myself, my husband, and my daughter. She is very gentle with animals and absolutely loves interacting with them—it’s truly sweet to watch. I offer flexible care options to accommodate different routines and needs, whether your pet requires simple visits or more structured boarding care.

About: Hi! I’m Lyndsey and I was a veterinary technician for 4 years, but have been dog sitting full time for the past 3+ years. I also have my own licensed dog boarding business, and do Rover on the side when I have availability! My husband and I live in Athens,TN. We have about 5 acres of land fenced in. We love getting to meet all kinds of different dogs, and having them interact with my kids. I’m home pretty much all the time so I never have to crate unless they sleep in one at night. I have clients that have been returning since 2019. I have 2 little girls, and all the dogs I’ve watched have been great with them! During all of the stays for the dogs I watch I provide homemade treats, and toys to play with.
