About: Hi! I’m Lyndsey and I was a veterinary technician for 4 years, but have been dog sitting full time for the past 3+ years. I also have my own licensed dog boarding business, and do Rover on the side when I have availability! My husband and I live in Athens,TN. We have about 5 acres of land fenced in. We love getting to meet all kinds of different dogs, and having them interact with my kids. I’m home pretty much all the time so I never have to crate unless they sleep in one at night. I have clients that have been returning since 2019. I have 2 little girls, and all the dogs I’ve watched have been great with them! During all of the stays for the dogs I watch I provide homemade treats, and toys to play with. I hope to watch your fur baby real soon! ❤️ So I’m available any weekend or weekday to dog sit your sweet fur babies! I will make sure they are in great hands! Look forward to meeting new clients! I’m able to administer any medications you may need for your fur baby! I’m currently home 24/7 unless I have doctor appts, or have to run a few errands. So your dog wouldn’t ever need to be crated unless you have them sleep in one at night. I can also admin meds if they require to have any during the day. I have a fenced in yard that wraps around my whole house, and also send pics throughout the day how they are doing. They have plenty of room to play as well.

About: My first word was kitty. Not kidding! Since my very first word, animals of all kinds have always been a huge part of my life. I have either owned or cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, Guinea pigs, fish, birds, frogs, horses, goats, and…well, the list goes on. Not matter what four legged (or more or less legged!) friend you need care for, I’m your girl. I have experience caring for all ages (bottle-fed to seniors) all sizes, and many, many different needs. I am experienced in providing wound care and other medical needs, and I am comfortable with animals of all temperaments. My years of experience has taught one thing: ALL animals are unique, and each needs to be cared for individually. I look forward to learning the unique needs of your pet and caring for them accordingly! My work is freelance and gig based, so I often have large stretches of time open and my day to day routine is very flexible. I typically try to book Housesitting stays about a month in advance, but if I am available, I am happy to book last minute! Call it a cruel twist of fate, but my landlord doesn’t allow pets. So, I have TONS of love to share with yours! While I won’t be bringing any of your furry friends home with me, I am always willing to come to them and provide care in the space they are most familiar with and comfortable in. You pet has a routine, and it’s my goal to help make sure that routine is carried out whether you’re at work or out of the country. I prioritize your instructions while caring for your pet and their environment, and make sure to keep open communication with you so you can feel at ease while away.

About: I have experience with pets of all ages, including energetic puppies who need consistency, basic training reinforcement, and lots of playtime, as well as senior pets who may need a slower pace, medication, or extra care and comfort. I’m very attentive to routines and will stick closely to your pet’s normal schedule to help reduce stress. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I love being outside and spending time with animals. I enjoy going on walks, playing outside, and making sure pets feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and exercise throughout the day. I follow the owner’s instructions closely for feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, and any specific care instructions. I also make sure pets feel safe and relaxed by giving them lots of love, supervision, and a calm environment. I enjoy being outside, so walks and outdoor play are something I really enjoy doing with dogs.

About: I am new to Rover, but have been working with dogs/cats both in the veterinary field as vet tech, and Sitting for 8 years. In addition, I have owned dogs my whole life. I am *Fear-Free Certified* with a special interest in animal mental health, and making sure they feel calm and secure. I am skilled in reading body language and acting accordingly. I am also skilled at medication administration, oral or injectable. I have worked with dogs both in critical and emergency situations, and would be able to take the correct steps if an emergency were to occur. Historically, I have mainly worked with dogs and cats, but I am open to Sitting any species of any size. Along with my years of experience handling and caring for animals, I am an honest, passionate, and down-to-earth person, making me an excellent and efficient employee. I look forward to hearing from you and meeting all the furry babies! I just moved to Tennessee from South Carolina and have a completely open schedule! I am looking forward to meeting new clientele. I can take walks any time of day and am free to Sit every day of the week. I only offer services through my clients' homes as I stay in an apartment. About: Hi! My name is Emily. I am a 24 year old veterinary assistant who loves animals and ensuring owners that their pets are in the best hands possible while they are away. I have been a veterinary nurse for 7 years and have been pet sitting for 10 years. I am able to properly medicate or administer injections (insulin for example) to pets if they are prescribed any medications. I like to meet with owners prior to their trip that way if there are any special needs or medications for the pet that I am aware of them. I have experience working with all ages of pets and am confident that I make sure your pet is comfortable and in safe hands while you are away. The most important part of being a pet sitter is ensuring that the pet I am watching feels safe, happy and that the stay is as low stress as possible. I currently work part time at an animal hospital and part time at a restaurant. A couple days out of the week I am working 11 hour shifts. As a sitter my goal is to keep your pet safe, stress free, and comfortable. In order to make that happen I like to communicate with my clients and learn more about their fur baby. I also am happy to communicate with the client while on their trip if they prefer that with photos and updates.

About: I have owned pets my entire life. I currently have a 3 year old German Shepard named Brutus who is the apple of our eye! I believe that pets are extended family and I will treat your fur family members like my own, with love, respect, and care! I also am experienced with caring for chickens! I am a stay at home mom so I am extremely flexible! I am able to work around your needs and adjust to my own schedule! Our yard is fenced in at home and our German Shepard is crate trained and knows all basic commands, as well as a fabulous frisbee athlete! I will care for your pets at your home how you treat them so that they are familiar with routine and comfortable with me. I can do a prior meet and greet as well to make sure we are both a good fit for each other.

About: I grew up with a dog and cats and love most all animals. I used to be a veterinary assistant for a few years before covid, and I have good friends who work in veterinary medicine as doctors! I love to learn as much as I can in that field as well. I am fully available to care and love your animals- The sooner you book me for house sittings- all the better!! I will regularly take the animals outside, give them treats, cuddle on the couch together (if they’re allowed on furniture) and feed them as needed I am happy to provide as much care and service to you and your pets as often as you need it, and whenever I am physically able to be there to care for them for you! For house sittings, I give the the houses with fenced in backyards both your pets and myself to stay outdoors with one another for a longer period of time in a safer environment to get to know one another, especially during first time visits. I love to lounge around the house and get to know your fur babies, especially during my first few times of interacting with them, just to establish care and trust during this time.

About: I used to volunteer at a local animal shelter. I took a course on animal handling, how to decrease frustration, anxiety and stress (FAS) for animals in the shelter, body language, how emotional health impacts an animal’s physical health, etc. I have a certificate in keeping a shelter Fear Free. My family and friends have relied on me in the past to dogsit their fur-babies. I have a large extended family with pets of all kinds, from German Shepard’s, Labradors and Cocker Spaniels, to mixed breeds and Tabby cats. Five of them are shelter rescues and one chihuahua-dashscund. For all of the animals I have taken care of, I came to their home so that the animals remained comfortable. I love all of my fur-babies, and I’m thankful that my family trusts me enough to take care of them while they’re away on vacation. Important Note: If you’re wanting to do more “meet and greets” after the first one in order for your pet to get more comfortable around me, I will be charging the same price as it would be for a drop-in (about $15 depending on the pet care). Another Important Note: I can give oral medication by putting it into their food. I can not, however, give it to the pet straight. My work schedule varies every week. However, I usually work from either 8:30 AM or 10 AM to 4 or 5 PM. I wouldn’t mind discussing the details in-person. My living situation does not allow me to petsit in my own home, however, I am able to petsit in my clients’ homes. When it comes to animals, I am very responsible. I take my job as a pet-sitter very seriously. I am able to give them any medications if needed at certain days and times, walk them, feed them, etc.

About: I've taken care of all sorts of dogs of many different sizes. From puppy's to senior dogs they're all no problem. I've also given medications to dogs to. I'm currently available to look after your pets on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at anytime. I would like a day in advance so I have time to prepare. I have three cats and a dog. One of my cats is in her senior years so she requires special foods. I like to keep my animals environments very clean and stress free for them. I have no problem with giving medications to any animal. I don't mind what size or how old the animal is I think they all deserve great care.

About: I’ve always had dogs and taken care of my families pets while they are gone. I currently work with the autistic population and love being a caregiver. I currently work 30 hours per week with large chunks of time available to love and care for pets. I’m also in a good location work wise for drop ins to visit your pet. I have a huge fenced in yard myself and could have overnights at my house. Still deciding if I wanna do that with my 2 dogs (whom are very sweet).
