About: I’ve been caring for dogs for 27 years and have experience with puppies, adult dogs, and seniors. As a nurse and lifelong animal lover, I am attentive, dependable, and comfortable administering medications when needed. I understand that every dog has unique needs and personalities, and I provide patient, loving care tailored to each pet. I’m a full time stay at home mom with a very flexible schedule. I am free to care for your pet all day every day of the week. I currently have a 4 year old lab mix who is nervous around strangers, but he loves to play with other dogs. My daughter is currently 13 months old, so if your pet will be in my home, all I ask is that they are potty trained and can be good/gentle with kids, for my daughter’s safety. Our dog is an indoor/outdoor dog. He spends most of his time inside, but he likes to play outside in our fenced in yard during the day as long as the weather is good. We have a screened-in porch with a fan for him to rest in while he is outside, too. He is free to go in and out of it as he pleases. Our dog is free-fed, but we are also used to following feeding schedules from caring for our elderly dog who recently passed, as well as my family’s dogs. I provide a safe, supervised, and loving home environment with consistent care and attention. If desired, I can offer daily walks, whether your pets are boarding with me or receiving drop-in visits. I can also play fetch and provide medication administration, as I have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Every dog deserves companionship and care. I can ensure they receive plenty of affection, attention, and individualized care from myself, my husband, and my daughter. She is very gentle with animals and absolutely loves interacting with them—it’s truly sweet to watch. I offer flexible care options to accommodate different routines and needs, whether your pet requires simple visits or more structured boarding care.

About: Hi! My name is Emily. I am a 24 year old veterinary assistant who loves animals and ensuring owners that their pets are in the best hands possible while they are away. I have been a veterinary nurse for 7 years and have been pet sitting for 10 years. I am able to properly medicate or administer injections (insulin for example) to pets if they are prescribed any medications. I like to meet with owners prior to their trip that way if there are any special needs or medications for the pet that I am aware of them. I have experience working with all ages of pets and am confident that I make sure your pet is comfortable and in safe hands while you are away. The most important part of being a pet sitter is ensuring that the pet I am watching feels safe, happy and that the stay is as low stress as possible. I currently work part time at an animal hospital and part time at a restaurant. A couple days out of the week I am working 11 hour shifts. Caring for so many different animals has made taking care of pets a natural part of my daily routine. 🐾💕 I do not have a fenced-in backyard, so I wouldn’t have a private area to let your dog out, but we can always go somewhere public or use your yard if your home offers one. I also have a crate available if needed! I care for every animal with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own pets. In my home or a client’s home, I make sure pets are comfortable, safe, fed, exercised, and given plenty of love and attention while sticking to their normal routines.
About: I've always been the neighbor to care for neighbors pets when they are out of town. I've owned various breeds of dogs for 42 years and cats for 40 years. I love animals! I can help with the needs of your bird as well. I love overnights. Being retired, my schedule is flexible just let me know when you need me! The schedule is flexible I try not to work with animals after 10pm I can board pets in my home or yours. Wherever the pet is more comfortable. I will regularly take the animals outside, give them treats, cuddle on the couch together (if they’re allowed on furniture) and feed them as needed I am happy to provide as much care and service to you and your pets as often as you need it, and whenever I am physically able to be there to care for them for you! For house sittings, I give the the houses with fenced in backyards both your pets and myself to stay outdoors with one another for a longer period of time in a safer environment to get to know one another, especially during first time visits. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
