About: Before moving to Cincinnati, I worked in many different pet care settings. I worked for a dog walking/sitting company in Nashville known as Preferred Pets, worked as a bather at the Paw Pad in Canton, worked for Pet Valu when I was in college at Kent State, and as a local dog walker in my neighborhood growing up. I’m very dedicated to the wellbeing of any animal I have the privilege of working with and look forward to seeing each and every pet. Every animal gets guaranteed love, attention, exercise, and play when I’m with them. I’ve cared for puppies, senior dogs, blind dogs, aggressive dogs, shy dogs, excited dogs, and every kind in between. No matter the size, age, temperament, or breed, I always dedicate my entire self to the animals under my care. I work full time 7p-5p M-F so if you need a night time or weekend walker, I’m the one for your pet! I’m always available throughout the nights as well. Throughout my professional experience with dogs I have always put their safety first. This includes knowing the major signs of stress dogs display, and recognizing quick temperament changes. I also have been taught proper ways to walk certain dogs depending on how much of a puller they are!

“Emily was great!! We have two very needy dogs and she was sure to give them all the love and keep us in the loop. Our older pup is unfortunately ill, and Emily kept our minds at ease while we were away with constant updates about how he was doing and making sure that he got his meds! Will defintely be using Emily again for pet care!”

About: I have had a dog in my house since I was born! So I grew up around all kinds of dogs, big and small. I have experience administering medicine to dogs of all ages and experience administering insulin shots to our diabetic senior miniature Doberman. Pet sitting was my very first job! I had countless neighbors rely on me to care for their fur babies since I was 10 years old. In college, I was in a group called 4 Paws for Ability at Miami University, where I fostered service dogs in training for the semester. My job was to socialize the dogs and basically take them everywhere with me before they could graduate from their training and be placed with a family. I’m currently taking some time off of work to figure out my next career move. I just relocated back to Cincinnati (I grew up in Loveland) after selling my house in Kentucky and am trying to figure out what I want to do next! I am very flexible at the moment and want dedicated my time to this. I have two cats at home and my roommate has a chocolate lab. Because of this, I would prefer to watch your pets at your home because our place is kind of small!

“Olivia was an incredible help while we were on vacation for a week! She is extremely responsive, responsible, and great with our dog. We’ve never had a pet sitter stay at our house before and we were naturally kind of nervous, but she put us fully at ease. I recommend her highly to anyone and I wouldn’t hesitate to hire her again! We really appreciate her.”

“Syd was total superstar looking after Ezra. He was great at understanding our needs and provided updates each day on how everything was going. He met with us before to get to meet Ezra and ensure he was well informed to ensure a happy dog. We came home to a very happy dog. Would recommend Syd and will be looking to book him again.”

Lauren G.
“Lauren is an AMAZING pet sitter! She is dependable, trustworthy, and very comfortable with pets - as she is a cat parent herself. I was gone for nearly 2 weeks out of state, so I needed someone to check on my cat, Phoebe. Phoebe requires oral medication and likes human connection / company, so Lauren was able to check on her, administer medication, and send check in photos and videos. Phoebe was a happy girl and my mind was at ease while on my vacation.”

Mackenzie P.

“Mackenzie agreed to watch my 2 dogs on short notice. Communicated frequently and provided updates. I’ll definitely use her services again.”
Evanston pet parents share their Rover experiences
Marlena was fantastic, she sent us pictures and videos and followed the detailed dog and cat instructions perfectly. We could not have ask for more. Additionally, she maintained my flowers which was a huge help. If we need a pet sitter in the future I’d seek her out in a heartbeat. She’s the best!

Our dog and cat loved having Emily stay with them over the weekend! They were very happy and well taken care of when we got back home from vacation. Emily even went above and beyond by cleaning up (even vacuuming!) at the end of her stay. We will definitely be using her services again.

We are pretty new this and were very nervous. It was a last minute booking because we had to leave time for a family matter. We were without internet and cell for long periods of time. When we were able to use our phones Savannah had sent regular pictures and messages and even talked with our neighbor. Jax was happy and well cared for. Would recommend 😊

This was our 2nd time having Sheila stay with our hyper and energetic pit mix. She was responsive, clean, and every helped with other household things (skimmed pool, watered garden). Our pup takes medication which was given as prescribed. Sheila sent photos and updates and I felt very at ease knowing our house and pup were in good hands. We will definitely be using Sheila again and recommend her to anyone.

We’ve used Rover for years and Megan was by far the best sitter we’ve had! The best at communicating and she kept me updated with pictures constantly. She took the best care of our dogs and even caught our cats attention. Will only be booking with Megan from now on! Definitely recommend!!

Chris took fantastic care of our dog and cat! He was great about giving us updates while we were away and we never worried about them while we were gone. We knew they were in great hands! He even took our dog for long walks despite the really hot days Cincinnati was having! Both of our pets were in great spirits when we got home, and the house was clean and picked up. We'd definitely have Chris watch them again!
