We did a meet & great beforehand so everyone felt comfortable and Olivia even brought a notebook for some notes on how to care for Sophs while I was away! I loved all the picture updates while I was gone - it was much appreciated! When I got home from my trip, it was like Sophie hadn’t missed a beat.. which just goes to show that Olivia took great care of her. About: I started volunteering at the animal shelter when I was 10. I have 5 dogs and 8 cats that I have rescued from abusive/neglectful homes, the streets, and from the shelter. I took a vet tech class in high school and a big/small animal class. I’m very good with all kinds and types of animals. I work part time currently, 4 to 5 hours a day Monday-Thursday and I’m off Friday-Sunday. I will definitely be able to care for and engage with your pet when needed. When I go to a new house to dog sit I always lock the doors and make sure to follow all rules I have been given. I stay very aware of my surroundings and the animal.

I have experience caring for puppies, high-energy breeds, and senior dogs who need a little extra patience and support. Whether it’s training a new pup or giving meds to an older dog, I make sure each pet gets personalized, safe, and loving care. My home is a calm, dog-friendly space, and I’m all about keeping tails wagging and owners worry-free! Ive grown up with pets and they were a big part of my daily life. Feeding, walking, grooming, and just spending time with them were all built into my routine. It taught me responsibility from a young age, and I really enjoyed the companionship. I definitely look forward to having pets again in the future when the timing is right. "When I cared for pets at home growing up—and when helping friends or neighbors—I always made sure their basic needs were met first: feeding, fresh water, regular potty breaks, and exercise. I paid close attention to their routines and any specific instructions, especially when helping in someone else's home. I understand how important it is to keep pets comfortable, safe, and loved, whether that’s sticking to their walk schedule, administering medication if needed, or just giving them plenty of playtime and affection. Cleanliness and communication are also big priorities for me when caring for pets in someone else's space.

About: I have been around animals my whole life, and I have done dog and cat sitting a few times over the years for neighbors or friends. I’ve had cats and dogs in my home since 2014, and I am very comfortable around both. I currently have a full time job; I work primarily in the mornings with evening shifts thrown in here and there. I don’t do much outside of that, so I am pretty available otherwise. I want to keep all pets feeling comfortable, following their routines/schedule, and keeping them company (within their boundaries). I no longer live with my cats and miss them greatly, so I will make sure they receive extra attention, pets, and playtime (within their boundaries).

About: Hey y’all!!!!!!! Huge animal lover here of ALL animals! I put my heart & time into any animals I care for so there safety will never be a worry & I have no problem sending daily picture updates of your fur babies on our adventures or just at relaxing at home. In my home they will feel safe & be spoiled as they should be,I make homemade organic dog treats & a dog room which has a door to the outside and dog beds so everyone is comfy in there own beds just like we are and even basic dog walks/house pop ins will be a time for me to interact with them and make sure your pets are set up for the day & know they aren’t alone. I’m a volunteer firefighter and I work from home so I have a very flexible schedule and my husband is also a great help around the house. In my home we have a fully fenced (6ft) privacy fence & we treat grass for fleas monthly so no worries about any critters coming home with you

About: I have had dogs all my life. I have cared for them since they were puppies until their transition to the rainbow bridge. I love meeting other animals and hearing their stories. I would care for your pets like they were mine. I am currently off work and have many hours in the day to care for your four-legged family members. I could do daily or twice a day walking as needed. I have a fenced in yard that my 5 dogs enjoy. I have 2 dogs that free roam at home. My 2 boys are big barkers, but are dog friendly. I have the other two kenneled due to bad behaviors and the other dog is having mobility issues and I try to keep her safe in the kennel.

It’s hard to let someone else care for her so I understand any hesitancy when finding someone new to care for your dog. I’ll treat your pup like my own. I am a dog aunt to two pugs, a Chinese crested, and a Boston terrier/pug mix. I have never met a dog I didn't love. Let me love your fur baby too because we all know they could never get too much! I have volunteered at The Humane Society of Central Illinois and with senior pet therapy through Chicago Cares. I also have my masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. My availability does vary day by day. I am free some mornings, some afternoons, and some evenings. I have the time to walk or care for dogs daily M-F and sometimes on weekends. I have a flexible schedule since I work for myself. I will give your dog a lot of pets and attention. I will treat your pet like my own. Your dog will be happy to have made a new friend. I’ll also play with them, do tricks with them, give them a treat (if allowed). Anything to make them happy!

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs, cats, reptiles, and fish from the ripe age of 10! I have had animals from the size of teacup yorkies to the size of Rottweilers so size doesn’t challenge me.
