House Sitting in Roanoke

About: I have been around animals my whole life, and I have done dog and cat sitting a few times over the years for neighbors or friends. I’ve had cats and dogs in my home since 2014, and I am very comfortable around both. I currently have a full time job; I work primarily in the mornings with evening shifts thrown in here and there. I don’t do much outside of that, so I am pretty available otherwise. I want to keep all pets feeling comfortable, following their routines/schedule, and keeping them company (within their boundaries). I no longer live with my cats and miss them greatly, so I will make sure they receive extra attention, pets, and playtime (within their boundaries).

About: i have 3 dogs of my own that i absolutely adore, and also have 6 cats that are both inside and outside! i never criticize with size and breed, and am incredibly open minded and understanding of pet struggles and weaknesses!! i love animals, and knowing i could get paid to play and take care of them warms my heart. genuinely, no dog or cat is too much and i would love to work with them all the time if i could! i dog sit for my aunt and uncle, but i also have 3 dogs that are crazy and playful so i understand discipline and the need for love.

About: i have taken care of several breeds of dogs from the bichon’s to mastiffs! I have a beagle/shar pei mix who is 12 years old and a pit bull who is 2. We have 4 cats and I am an animal lover through and through! i am a stay at home mom of 2 and so my availability is open typically very flexible!. Up until now I have done this strictly in after work/school hours, but now have much more availability and hope to be able to branch out to more families! I will always respect the home of my client and their animals. We will go over any wants and needs and you don’t have to worry about anything else while you are gone! I am a Rover user myself and understand how important it is to feel stress free and in good hands when you are gone.

About: I’ve always been an animal lover since I was little. Throughout college I have done all sorts of pet/house sitting for friends, family, coworkers etc. I have house sat for a family friend that required feeding and watering horses, milking goats, reptile care, rabbit cleaning care, medicating cats/dogs if needed, you name it. I currently have a Corn Snake, a Western Plains Hognose Snake as well as a Crested Gecko. I have been a Veterinary Receptionist for over 5 and a half years now. I was also an Animal Keeper for about a year with native Illinois Wildlife (including black bears, cougars & bobcats). I am currently transitioning to being a Veterinary Assistant so I am gaining new skills weekly! Currently working a max of 30 hours at my day job as a Veterinary Assistant but recently have been working less. Typically I have Sundays and Wednesdays off during the week but sometimes get another random week day off depending on how busy we are at the clinic. My shifts can vary from 8am to 2pm; 8am to 4pm; 9am to 3pm; 9am to 5pm or even 8am to 6:30pm. The earlier I’m off during the day I am able to help after that too. Your home is their home. I will cater to your pet based on what they like or need. If they just need someone to keep them company I’m there. I will treat your space with respect and follow any instructions given. My pets are family and are treated as such so the same would go for your kiddos.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs, cats, reptiles, and fish from the ripe age of 10! I have had animals from the size of teacup yorkies to the size of Rottweilers so size doesn’t challenge me. I currently work full time Sunday-Wednesday and find myself with a lot of free time the rest of the week so I’d love to get to play and help with your best friend as much as I’m able to get I am able to follow all the rules you provide with your best friend and am able to accommodate with any requests to keep you stress free!

About: I’m very easy going. I love to take them for walks, get them a pup cup, parks, etc.. If they have meds or a certain diet that’s not a problem. As well as if they have any other specific needs, I will make sure to meet them. You can expect regular updates and pictures if wanted. I believe every dog should get love and attention so I will make sure not to be a stranger to them! Hope they love their tummy tickled too! Let me know if you have any questions:) I work at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, I am part time from 7am-1pm. I do online schooling therefore I would only be gone during the morning/ afternoon. The rest of the day is fully for the pups! In my clients home they have either a fenced yard or a shock collar to keep them in. One of my clients has specific diets and medication for both of their dogs and prefers if they are walked daily as well! (no extra charge for walking ofc). They text me the details or they write on a piece of paper and leave notes. I have no problem following directions, it is better to be more specific though when telling them. And I do send pics and update my clients if asked or necessary!

About: I have experience administering all kinds of medication to all ages of dogs. I love meeting your older dogs and have experience helping them navigate stairs and the home if necessary. I am patient and if your dog needs extra accommodation I am happy to provide assistance. I am currently a college student on break for the summer so my schedule is incredibly flexible. I am available for early mornings, late nights, and everything in between. I understand it can be nerve racking trusting someone with your pet, but I am extremely communicative and will keep you updated as frequently as you wish. I have pet sat for multiple families who have always returned to tidy homes and happy pets. As someone who has had the privilege of loving many animals, big and small (snakes, lizards, geckos, cat, hamsters), I understand the importance of your pet.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life! I’ve worked as a veterinary assistant at my family’s veterinary clinic for the past 9 years, where I’ve helped care for dogs and cats with all kinds of personalities, ages, and medical needs. Through my work at the clinic, I’ve become comfortable and skilled at administering medications and assisting with medical care, so I can confidently care for pets who may need a little extra attention. I’m attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, and the overall well being of your furry best friend. Outside of the clinic, I’ve raised multiple litters of rescue kittens, care for our clinic cats on weekends, and currently have three rescue cats and a dog of my own. Caring for animals isn’t just a job to me, it’s something I genuinely love! I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I’ll treat them with the same patience, attention, and affection that I give my own. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, or simply having someone nearby, I’m happy to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away 💕 My schedule is flexible and varies throughout the month. I serve in the Navy Reserve and occasionally work at my family’s veterinary clinic when they need extra help, but outside of those commitments I have plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I keep my availability updated and only accept bookings that I know I can fully commit to. When caring for your pet, they will have my full attention, and you’ll receive regular updates, photos, and messages! Working in a veterinary clinic has taught me how important it is to pay attention to the little things. I closely follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and any special care requests, and I’m always keeping an eye on your pet’s comfort and well being. I will make your pet feel safe, loved, and as relaxed as possible when you’re away, while giving you peace of mind that they’re in good hands!

About: I adore being around animals and have had many years pf practice with taking care of friends pets. We have also always had pets in our family growing up. I work part time as a wedding photographer so Im usually very flexible with my schedule especially during the week. I also enjoy walking so Im also available for that. I will only walk outside with your pet if they have a leash or a fenced protected area. I won't them alone anytime. I will provide patience and love to them as if they were my own.
