About: Hi there! I am currently the Executive Director of our local animal shelter. Prior to that position I worked at a spay/neuter vet clinic for 5 years in Indianapolis. Total animal welfare experience of over 10 years! I would be glad to stop by your house to care for your pets while you are at work/vacation or take your dog for a walk. While I am unable to stay overnight at your house while you are away for an extended period of time, I am willing to stop by several times during the day and before bed to care for your house and animals! I am very experienced in handling all different types of dogs (and kitties). I have bathing experience and am trained in giving medications. About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all ages and sizes. I love animals and I love being active so your dog will be sufficiently walked. I’ve been entrusted to give animals medications, including shots during some of my sitting experiences, so I am familiar with that. I’ve also taken care of homeowners’ plants/yards while they’ve been away! I’ve had many friends and families re-use me for their pets! I am a salaried employee at my job, so I am available to take your dog out throughout the day. If I am gone for work, it’s only about 2-4 hours at my actually office building. I live in Warsaw, so I’m close to Winona Lake, Grace College, and the lake itself. I have two cats of my own, so I’m not currently boarding animals at my house, but am able to do drop in visits, house sitting jobs and dog walking jobs!

About: I have taken care of Dogs for 20 years. I love puppies all the way to seniors. Having Dogs around my home makes it my happy place. I am currently working part time. About: I have been around animals my entire life. I trained one of my personal dogs for 4-H. I train all of my pets basic skills. I am able to care for all ages of dogs. I am currently a student. I am looking for activities to fill in my free time in summer. I care for my own pets daily. I have a large yard and 2 very sweet dogs and 2 loving indoor cats. About: Within the past couple years I started my own small business in pet transportation. I received licensing from the USDA and am knowledgeable in best practices in caring for pets while their families are away. I truly believe that our pets are our family and will aim to make your pets feel loved and well-cared for while you’re away. Beyond my own pets, transporting gave me experience with dogs and cats of all ages and sizes. I do have references to attest for the high standard of care I will provide. I am no longer transporting pets due to being away from my family (pets and humans) for extended periods of time. Recently I have become a stay at home mom, but really miss all the extra animals I got to love on. My availability is pretty flexible throughout the week now and I’m excited to meet your furry family members! I am available to care for your pet in your home or through walking. I will accept puppies/young dogs for boarding and doggy daycare in my home as I have my own large dogs, who are friendly, but intimidated by other large dogs. This can include feeding, administering medicine, walking, play time, crating, etc. I will always aim to stick to you and your pet’s schedule. About: I am a very observant person and be sure that your pet will be safe while you are away . I have dogs of my own and will care for yours as if they were my own . I operate a group that is focused on assisting rescues with transports from shelters to the rescue or their foster home as well as helping the lower income pet owner when in need . I pet sit for a neighbor for her 4 small dogs when she is away and have done this for about 10 yrs now . About: I have grown up with at least two dogs in my house my whole life. I have experience with rabbits as well. Since coming to college I have missed being around animals! I am currently a college student and I don’t have any other jobs. I am looking to have this be my main source of income and be available as much as I can. I am capable of crating your dog if needed. I always keep an eye on the dogs if we are outside. I make sure all of their needs are met including water, food, and play time!

About: I've been a pet owner my entire life from dogs and cats to birds, fish, hamsters, hedgehogs, sugar gliders, and more! I occasionally pet sit for family members on vacation. I am also in pursuit of a training certificate. I work from home full time as an accountant and get to make my own hours! This enables me to be flexible and fit your pet care needs into my daily schedule with ease. I am not currently offering overnight visits. However, I can drop into your home to check on your pets periodically through the day and night, I can take them for walks, rides in the car, bathe them, feed them, or simply keep them company and play with them!

About: My family has trusted me to take care of there pets when they go on vacation. I'm the known animal lover in the family and love walking dogs. I love all kinds of dogs and i'm even love walking dogs that tend to be leash reactive. My dog is leash reactive so i'm very comfortable with handling those situations. I also love training and am very patient with puppies and senior dogs. I am currently available on the weekdays for the summer and thought I would build my pet care experience as i am going to school for a registered veterinary technician. I love dogs with all types of habits. I am a very patient person since i know what it's like to have a reactive dog or having puppies.

About: every sitter loves animals, but I really do adore animals and I love being able to just enjoy and meet new animals. My special skills with animals is to cuddle! I love making sure the fur babies are taking care of with love and respect! I currently work a full time job, M-T from 7 to 5, which is the main reason of dog sitting on the weekends! I can do full weeks just need to know ahead of time to be able to discuss with work! The best option is to have them at the client’s home, animals are always comfortable when at home and a place they know! It’s already scary that a stranger is in there house but much better than a scary car ride into a new house!

About: Since I was little we have always had a dog in our house! We currently have an adorable little Westie named Tilly. I am currently a college student in a Master's program and would love to help take care of your animals while I am away from mine! I have a partially fenced in backyard and right by Valparaiso University campus with lots of safe space for walking! I have been taking care of animals since I was little, so I can easily adapt to your living space! I am currently a graduate level college student at Valparaiso University! I have class from 9am-5pm M-F and am typically free on the weekends. Sometimes my schedule changes so always feel free to ask! I have a partially fenced in backyard and live near the campus of Valparaiso University. I am used to having my schedule organized, so keeping up with visits will be no problem!

About: I currently work kennels in a dog boarding/training facility. I previously worked in kennels in a veterinary office. Previously I worked in kennels at an animal shelter for a year. I moved to Plymouth to continue my education. I’m a double major at Ancilla college, Animal Science and Veterinary Nursing. I have also completed the Fear Free Shelters and Fear Free Level I courses, courses designed educate and prevent to fearful behaviors in shelter animals as well as animals in a clinical setting and how to help them cope with their fear and anxiety. I’ve had animals my whole life and currently own two cats, Calcifer and Opal and a dog, Noelle. I have watched family and friends’ pets on several occasions, mostly overnight stays and also dropping in during the day. I have also fostered several puppies when I worked at the shelter and after I left there. I work and have school full time but I have availability on weekends as well as some weekdays. I have reliable transportation and don’t mind traveling to and from work. My animals are on a bi-daily feeding schedule, they are very strict about it. They get extensive play time and enrichment through puzzle toys. When I watch pets in a home I am sure to follow all instructions provided and allow extra playtime/enrichment for the pet and I to get comfortable with each other. I keep a kept home and make sure I clean up after myself and the pet(s) as needed. I am very capable of administering any and all medications that may be needed.
