About: I’ve taken care of family friends pets and neighbors pets over the years including cats and dogs. I have 5 dogs and 1 foster cat if my own. I have always had dogs growing up and we also had cats over the years as well! I have 5 dogs and 1 foster cat of my own! My typical day is pretty open at this time as I do not have a full time job, I spend most of my days with my pets and house cleaning! Due to me having 5 dogs I do not offer watching in my home, but I’m more than willing to do drop in visits, walks, or even overnight stays in your home!

About: I don't remember a time when I didn't have a dog in my life! I grew up with dogs and have been involved with dogs since I was little. I have owned and interacted with a variety of breeds. I grew up helping my grandfather train horses and my grandmother train service dogs. So the love of animals is instilled in me! I am very comfortable around a variety of dog breeds and personalities! I have 5 dogs( 2 senior girls and 3 active ladies)! I own 2 Mudi which is a Hungarian herding breed. I actively show and compete with them in AKC and UKC events. I also own a cat! She is a feisty gal who is very opinionated! I am a medical assistant and with that comes the confidence to handle medical issues or requirements your pet may need! I am comfortable providing medication or medical care that a vet has prescribed to your pet! I have also completed a cat and dog first aid/CPR course through the Red Cross! I look forward to getting to know you and your pets! I am a stay at home mom which allows me to adjust my schedule to fit the needs of you and your pets! My family members will not be helping with pet care. I can't do visits until 8am due to kids schedules. I would provide high quality, loving care on a schedule to help maintain your pets comfort. Safety of your pet is my top priority closely followed by their comfort. I want to get to know each of your pets like they are my own. I want your pet to enjoy me and much as I will enjoy them! If your pet comes to my house for day care I do require them to be create trained. Occasionally I must leave my house for no longer than 2 hours. My pets get created if I am away as that keeps them safe! I do have a security camera I would keep on your pet if I must step away. I have also completed a cat and dog first aid/CPR course through the Red Cross!

About: Growing up with an Australian Shepherd Blue Heeler mix (Buddy), I loved teaching him new tricks, going for walks, and playing enriching games that helped get his energy out. My parents added a Chiweenie (Joey) to the family a couple years ago, so now when I visit I love to walk them both, give Buddy back massages, and snuggle little lap dog Joey. I often dog/house sit for my parents; being in their home environment seems to be most comfortable for the pups. Aside from dogs, I graduated from IU Bloomington in 2021, have switched careers from management and sales to healthcare, and now work for a local school system. I am looking for something fun, active, and outdoors for the summer - what better activity than dog walking/sitting?! I cannot wait to connect and meet your furry family. I am currently working full time, but will soon have the summer off to help care for your pups! My current schedule varies, but I am available some evenings and weekends. Send me a message and I will get back to you ASAP! I will ensure to adhere to any dog schedules/routines, send regular photo/text updates upon client request, and to care for your dogs like my own. I will do everything in my power to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. You can expect frequent and thorough communication - don’t be afraid to leave detailed lists/notes of exactly how you want your dog cared for. I will do my best to mimic how you care for your pet to ease any distress and make your absence as enjoyable as possible for them.

About: I’ve always had dogs, ever since I was born, so I have a LOT of experience! I have been trusted with my friends’ pets as well, going over to their houses to take care of the dogs and play with them! I am working part-time right now, so I have pretty good flexibility when it comes to needing someone to come and take care of your pets. I can do some weekends and weekdays. I am not available Wednesday evenings after 4. I will feed them (a certain amount of times a day if that is what you normally do) and make sure they have plenty of water. If they normally go in a crate during the day/at night, I can do that for you as well.

About: I’m a registered nurse who has owned dogs my whole life and has previously worked at a dog kennel. I love dogs and can assure your pets will be safe with me! My schedule is currently wide open. I would prefer a normal 9-5 workday, however I can be flexible. With enough notice I have no problems making time for your fur babies! I understand how important routine is to pets and promise to follow any instructions given. Pets function better and live more stress free lives when they run on their daily routine.

I understand that every animal has their own personality, routine, and needs, so I take the time to really get to know them and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I have experience working with goats, cats, dogs and lizards, chickens and even horses, along with senior pets. About: With being in the Veterinary field, I hope my career path of being a Registered Veterinary Nurse brings you comfort when caring for your pets. About: Head out of town with the confidence that you furry one will enjoy excellent care. Our golden doodle loves to welcome guests. And our teenage son is here to take your dog on walks (we’re just off the Goshen millrace), play fetch in our back yard, and generally lavish attention on them. We offer seasonal times mostly. This is focused around times when our son is off school in order to give constant care. The adults also have flexible work schedules ensuring plenty of support for the rhythms of pet care. We keep a tidy home where your pet can relax and play. We make every effort to maintain the rhythms (exercise, feeding, etc) that your pet is accustomed to.

About: I have grown up with at least two dogs in my house my whole life. I have experience with rabbits as well. Since coming to college I have missed being around animals! I am currently a college student and I don’t have any other jobs. I am looking to have this be my main source of income and be available as much as I can. I am capable of crating your dog if needed. I always keep an eye on the dogs if we are outside. I make sure all of their needs are met including water, food, and play time!

About: I’ve always been asked to take care of animals by friends and family. I’ve always been asked to pet sit due to my love for animals and my ability to love them as my own. I’m currently working part time and am taking college classes online at Western Governors University! About: I have taken care of neighbor’s and friend’s dogs and cats since I was around 12 years old. I grew up with 4-5 dogs and cats at a time, as well as reptiles and amphibians. I have four dogs of my own now. I have cared for dogs as small as chihuahuas and as big as Great Danes. I’ve also cared for puppies and kittens, and have helped in the delivery process of nine German shepherd/Pitbull mixes. I fostered several sets of kittens while I was in high school. I did dog obedience and agility with my childhood dogs for 5 years or so when I was younger, and also went to private obedience lessons, so I am confident I can handle and care for any dog. I am a responsible pet owner as I believe in spay/neuter, I train and walk all of my dogs 4-8 days a month, I have a large fenced in backyard for them, and I keep them happy and healthy. I hope all of this will show you that I am the perfect person to care for your fur baby while you are away. I am also a photographer so I can take some pretty cute photos of your babies for you while you are away! I also offer training services outside of this app. I am working to get enough experience training so I can become certified. If you are interested, please let me know! I am currently a stay at home dog mom, so I am available pretty much any time. I will get up as early or stay up as late as needed to care for your pet. Prices explained: House sitting- $200/night. I have had multiple people try to book house sitting jobs with me and then are shocked by the price. The reason for the price being $200/night and so much higher than my check-in and dog walking prices is because I have to factor in drive time, mileage, and gas that it takes me to get to your home in back, as well as trips I will have to make in between to come home and care for my own dogs and to shower and eat as well as the hours I’m spending at your home overnight. I am away from my own home/bed, family, and dogs so I can do a job that requires me to stay somewhere most of the day and overnight to care for living beings. Because of that, I am going to charge a flat rate of $200 that covers the moment I leave my home to when I return after the last day, which includes every night I spend in your home. If you require me to stay in your home overnight for the job, I will not do it for free. Rover also takes 20% of my earnings, so I am actually only making $160/night. If you break it down, say I’m there for around 12 hours for an overnight house sitting job, I’m only making around $13/hour. If you do not require me to stay overnight, my check in and dog walking prices are much more affordable and I can check in several times a day and stay for up to an hour each time. Also, please list each animal in your home on your profile. As many other Rover sitters, I charge per animal. If there is only one dog on your profile, I expect to only be caring for one dog. It is an additional $10 or less per additional dog, depending on which service you book. I have previously talked about how I care for my dogs in my home, but I will not be offering any kind of in home care as two of my dogs are reactive. However, at the client’s home, I can follow any instructions on care down to the very last detail. I can provide your pet with cuddles and playtime if they are comfortable with it. I can walk them as well, for any amount of time or distance. I will meet your needs and your pet’s needs!

Thank you for understanding. I have no professional experience with dog care, however I have cared for numerous pets over the last 15 years of my life (I'm 21 now) and have loved every bit of it. I am looking to get some extra cash by doing something I love while in college. I love taking dogs to the park to play for hours and then snuggling up with them later because they are so tired. It's my favorite thing to do is tire a dog out so much that all it does is want to sleep later (kind of like a kid, haha). Really just looking for an excuse to spend time with animals. Professionally speaking, I am a student in college studying Sociology and Psychology. About: Within the past couple years I started my own small business in pet transportation. I received licensing from the USDA and am knowledgeable in best practices in caring for pets while their families are away. I truly believe that our pets are our family and will aim to make your pets feel loved and well-cared for while you’re away. Beyond my own pets, transporting gave me experience with dogs and cats of all ages and sizes. I do have references to attest for the high standard of care I will provide. I am no longer transporting pets due to being away from my family (pets and humans) for extended periods of time. Recently I have become a stay at home mom, but really miss all the extra animals I got to love on. My availability is pretty flexible throughout the week now and I’m excited to meet your furry family members! I am available to care for your pet in your home or through walking. I will accept puppies/young dogs for boarding and doggy daycare in my home as I have my own large dogs, who are friendly, but intimidated by other large dogs. This can include feeding, administering medicine, walking, play time, crating, etc. I will always aim to stick to you and your pet’s schedule. About: I grew up with cats & dogs. We always had at least two in our house as kids and I've owned lots and lots of pets with human names. Since I’m a teacher I am available all summer long. I am an early riser and can accommodate all times you may need for your pets My pets get walked four times a day and seem to be my mode of exercise. I can accommodate early and late hours in particular.

About: What sets me apart from others on Rover, is I take this line of work seriously and I usually go above in beyond. If I am selected to sleep at the house you can expect me to actually sleep there. For every one of my client's I have always slept the night until the end. If a puppy is on site I do continue to train the basics, unless other skills are specified to be trained. I love to keep them active and happy! I spend all my free time with your fur baby! I love to give them time to play and run. I enjoy taking them for walks, or giving them a bath! For boarding, I do not have a fenced yard, but I have an electric fence along with an additional collar. If that is not acceptable to you then I will keep the dog on a regular leash during potty breaks. I have two fur babies of my own that do wonderful with new dogs, they love to play! I live in a suburban neighborhood with a perfect loop to take walks. I can also provide a large crate if needed, otherwise the pet will sleep with me. I do allow them on my bed :) For house sitting+dog, I would follow any instruction given to me! Otherwise I assume the dog is yard trained and won’t bolt across the street. If this is a concern of yours then I ask to please provide me with a leash, thank you! If you do not allow your pets on your furniture then I will continue that behavior for you.
