About: Growing up with an Australian Shepherd Blue Heeler mix (Buddy), I loved teaching him new tricks, going for walks, and playing enriching games that helped get his energy out. My parents added a Chiweenie (Joey) to the family a couple years ago, so now when I visit I love to walk them both, give Buddy back massages, and snuggle little lap dog Joey. I often dog/house sit for my parents; being in their home environment seems to be most comfortable for the pups. Aside from dogs, I graduated from IU Bloomington in 2021, have switched careers from management and sales to healthcare, and now work for a local school system. I am looking for something fun, active, and outdoors for the summer - what better activity than dog walking/sitting?! I cannot wait to connect and meet your furry family. I am currently working full time, but will soon have the summer off to help care for your pups! My current schedule varies, but I am available some evenings and weekends. I will do everything in my power to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. You can expect frequent and thorough communication - don’t be afraid to leave detailed lists/notes of exactly how you want your dog cared for. I will do my best to mimic how you care for your pet to ease any distress and make your absence as enjoyable as possible for them.

About: I’ve taken care of family friends pets and neighbors pets over the years including cats and dogs. I have 5 dogs and 1 foster cat if my own. I have always had dogs growing up and we also had cats over the years as well! I have 5 dogs and 1 foster cat of my own! My typical day is pretty open at this time as I do not have a full time job, I spend most of my days with my pets and house cleaning! Due to me having 5 dogs I do not offer watching in my home, but I’m more than willing to do drop in visits, walks, or even overnight stays in your home!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was a child and have always grown up in a very pet friendly household with 2 cats and a dog. My cat I have now is 11 and I’ve had him since he was a kitten and my dog is now 5 who I have also had since she was a puppy. I’ve got experience in dog obedience as well. Friends and family have relied on me to feed, walk, and board their pets in the past. I already take my dog on walks and runs daily and I’m currently very flexible for the next few weeks while on summer vacation as a teacher. I will be able to keep your pet company and give lots of attention in the form of going on walks, throwing the ball, feeding, grooming if necessary, etc. I currently cannot board other pets as I have a cat of my own and don’t want to risk him being stressed or attacked by overly excited dogs!

About: I have owned pets all my life and always hated boarding my pets due to the stress they endure thats why I offer my services. I also offer care for cats and small animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs ect. As of right now I am available anytime. Ive worked at vet clinics and volunteered at shelters. I am an owner to 4 crazy beagles so I know what it's like to make sure pets have the stress free environment when we are gone. All pet care is done in the client's home. This creates more calmness within the pet and less stress. They can be where they are used to.

About: I have grown up with at least two dogs in my house my whole life. I have experience with rabbits as well. Since coming to college I have missed being around animals! I am currently a college student and I don’t have any other jobs. I am looking to have this be my main source of income and be available as much as I can. I am capable of crating your dog if needed. I will make sure that your dog(s) are safe and get all of the love that they need. I work full time but I am able to leave for lunch everyday. I am looking for long term and short term. About: I have taken care of neighbor’s and friend’s dogs and cats since I was around 12 years old. I grew up with 4-5 dogs and cats at a time, as well as reptiles and amphibians. I have four dogs of my own now. I have cared for dogs as small as chihuahuas and as big as Great Danes. I’ve also cared for puppies and kittens, and have helped in the delivery process of nine German shepherd/Pitbull mixes. I fostered several sets of kittens while I was in high school. I did dog obedience and agility with my childhood dogs for 5 years or so when I was younger, and also went to private obedience lessons, so I am confident I can handle and care for any dog. I am a responsible pet owner as I believe in spay/neuter, I train and walk all of my dogs 4-8 days a month, I have a large fenced in backyard for them, and I keep them happy and healthy. I hope all of this will show you that I am the perfect person to care for your fur baby while you are away. I am also a photographer so I can take some pretty cute photos of your babies for you while you are away! I also offer training services outside of this app. I am working to get enough experience training so I can become certified. If you are interested, please let me know! I am currently a stay at home dog mom, so I am available pretty much any time. I will get up as early or stay up as late as needed to care for your pet. Prices explained: House sitting- $200/night. I have had multiple people try to book house sitting jobs with me and then are shocked by the price. The reason for the price being $200/night and so much higher than my check-in and dog walking prices is because I have to factor in drive time, mileage, and gas that it takes me to get to your home in back, as well as trips I will have to make in between to come home and care for my own dogs and to shower and eat as well as the hours I’m spending at your home overnight. I am away from my own home/bed, family, and dogs so I can do a job that requires me to stay somewhere most of the day and overnight to care for living beings. Because of that, I am going to charge a flat rate of $200 that covers the moment I leave my home to when I return after the last day, which includes every night I spend in your home. If you require me to stay in your home overnight for the job, I will not do it for free. Rover also takes 20% of my earnings, so I am actually only making $160/night. If you break it down, say I’m there for around 12 hours for an overnight house sitting job, I’m only making around $13/hour. If you do not require me to stay overnight, my check in and dog walking prices are much more affordable and I can check in several times a day and stay for up to an hour each time. Also, please list each animal in your home on your profile. As many other Rover sitters, I charge per animal. If there is only one dog on your profile, I expect to only be caring for one dog. It is an additional $10 or less per additional dog, depending on which service you book. I have previously talked about how I care for my dogs in my home, but I will not be offering any kind of in home care as two of my dogs are reactive. However, at the client’s home, I can follow any instructions on care down to the very last detail. I can provide your pet with cuddles and playtime if they are comfortable with it. I can walk them as well, for any amount of time or distance. I will meet your needs and your pet’s needs!

About: I am a 19 year old, currently a stay at home doggie mom. I was previously a Kennel Technician for 3 years at a Training, Boarding, and Grooming facility. I take pride in treating all dogs like my own I do not currently work so I have lots of time on my hands to care for you babies!! About: Since I was little we have always had a dog in our house! We currently have an adorable little Westie named Tilly. I am currently a college student in a Master's program and would love to help take care of your animals while I am away from mine! I have a partially fenced in backyard and right by Valparaiso University campus with lots of safe space for walking! I have been taking care of animals since I was little, so I can easily adapt to your living space! I am currently a graduate level college student at Valparaiso University! I have class from 9am-5pm M-F and am typically free on the weekends. Sometimes my schedule changes so always feel free to ask! I have a partially fenced in backyard and live near the campus of Valparaiso University. I am used to having my schedule organized, so keeping up with visits will be no problem!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all ages and sizes. I love animals and I love being active so your dog will be sufficiently walked. I’ve been entrusted to give animals medications, including shots during some of my sitting experiences, so I am familiar with that. I’ve also taken care of homeowners’ plants/yards while they’ve been away! I’ve had many friends and families re-use me for their pets! I am a salaried employee at my job, so I am available to take your dog out throughout the day. If I am gone for work, it’s only about 2-4 hours at my actually office building. I live in Warsaw, so I’m close to Winona Lake, Grace College, and the lake itself. I have two cats of my own, so I’m not currently boarding animals at my house, but am able to do drop in visits, house sitting jobs and dog walking jobs!

About: What sets me apart from others on Rover, is I take this line of work seriously and I usually go above in beyond. If I am selected to sleep at the house you can expect me to actually sleep there. For every one of my client's I have always slept the night until the end. If a puppy is on site I do continue to train the basics, unless other skills are specified to be trained. I love to keep them active and happy! I spend all my free time with your fur baby! I love to give them time to play and run. I enjoy taking them for walks, or giving them a bath! For boarding, I do not have a fenced yard, but I have an electric fence along with an additional collar. If that is not acceptable to you then I will keep the dog on a regular leash during potty breaks. I have two fur babies of my own that do wonderful with new dogs, they love to play! I live in a suburban neighborhood with a perfect loop to take walks. I can also provide a large crate if needed, otherwise the pet will sleep with me. I do allow them on my bed :) For house sitting+dog, I would follow any instruction given to me! Otherwise I assume the dog is yard trained and won’t bolt across the street. If this is a concern of yours then I ask to please provide me with a leash, thank you! If you do not allow your pets on your furniture then I will continue that behavior for you.
