About: I grew up with an Australian Shepherd Blue Heeler mix and loved teaching him new tricks, going for walks, and playing enriching games that helped get his energy out. My parents added a Chiweenie to the family a couple years ago, so now when I visit, I love to walk them both! I often dog/house sit for my parents; being in their home environment seems to be most comfortable for them. Aside from dogs, I graduated from IU Bloomington in 2021, and have switched careers to work for a local school system. I am looking for something fun, active, and outdoors for the summer - what better activity than dog walking?! I cannot wait to connect and meet your furry family! About: Hi, I'm Amanda, a passionate animal lover with more than 20 years of experience caring for pets of all sizes. I offer reliable in-home pet sitting, including feeding, playtime, walks, medication administration, and lots of cuddles! Whether your furry friend needs extra attention or a relaxed routine, I'm here to ensure they feel loved and comfortable while you're away. I work full time (second shift M-F), but myself and my son are both available throughout the entire week to watch and care for animals. I have a three bedroom home and a large unfenced yard to walk and play in. When caring for animals in a client’s home, I can guarantee walks, feeding and anything else needed just as I would in my own home.

About: I am someone who loves pets of all types. I have years of experience with multiple types of animals and I love them all. If my pets could talk they would tell you to choose me. My job has multiple stretches of time off for me to care for your pets full time. If for whatever reason I am working on a time you are looking for a sitter I will always let you know my schedule in advance. But for the most part I will always be home. I have a decent yard. However, the yard is not fenced. I have 3 litter boxes in my home that are scooped daily as well as provide privacy. I have 3 cats who are all friendly with each other and love to play. Their ages are 4 years, and 2 of them are 7 months. All my pets are neutered and spayed. I also have a rabbit who loves to play with the cats as well. However, if you are uncomfortable with this idea he is also always willing to chill in his cage.

About: I have grown up with at least two dogs in my house my whole life. I have experience with rabbits as well. Since coming to college I have missed being around animals! I am currently a college student and I don’t have any other jobs. I am looking to have this be my main source of income and be available as much as I can. I am capable of crating your dog if needed. I always keep an eye on the dogs if we are outside. I make sure all of their needs are met including water, food, and play time!

About: I’ve taken care of family friends pets and neighbors pets over the years including cats and dogs. I have 5 dogs and 1 cat of my own. I have always had dogs growing up and we also had cats over the years as well! I have 5 dogs and 1 foster cat of my own! My typical day is pretty open at this time as I do not have a full time job, I spend most of my days with my pets and house cleaning! Due to me having 5 dogs I do not offer watching in my home, but I’m more than willing to do drop in visits, walks, or even overnight stays in your home!

About: What sets me apart from others on Rover, is I take this line of work seriously and I usually go above in beyond. If I am selected to sleep at the house you can expect me to actually sleep there. For every one of my client's I have always slept the night until the end. If a puppy is on site I do continue to train the basics, unless other skills are specified to be trained. I love to keep them active and happy! I spend all my free time with your fur baby! I love to give them time to play and run. I enjoy taking them for walks, or giving them a bath! For boarding, I do not have a fenced yard, but I have an electric fence along with an additional collar. If that is not acceptable to you then I will keep the dog on a regular leash during potty breaks. I have two fur babies of my own that do wonderful with new dogs, they love to play! I live in a suburban neighborhood with a perfect loop to take walks. I can also provide a large crate if needed, otherwise the pet will sleep with me. I do allow them on my bed :) For house sitting+dog, I would follow any instruction given to me! Otherwise I assume the dog is yard trained and won’t bolt across the street. If this is a concern of yours then I ask to please provide me with a leash, thank you! If you do not allow your pets on your furniture then I will continue that behavior for you.

About: I worked with dogs and cats for the past 6 years at a kennel and a rescue. I have one cat of my own and love dogs so much! I’ve watched family friends pets on occasion as well! I am on the hunt for a part time job so I’m pretty available as of right now and I’m look forward to spending time with your pets! About: I have owned pets all my life and always hated boarding my pets due to the stress they endure thats why I offer my services. I also offer care for cats and small animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs ect. As of right now I am available anytime. Ive worked at vet clinics and volunteered at shelters. Ive taken care of senior dogs, hyper and young dogs. Also have administered meds to animals. Recently I have watched farm animals such as chickens,goats,horses and a Llama. I currently have 4 dogs of my own and 2 of my moms dogs. We have 1 cat. Ive had several dogs and 2 other cats in the past as well as 2 rabbits. I am an owner to 4 crazy beagles so I know what it's like to make sure pets have the stress free environment when we are gone. All pet care is done in the client's home. This creates more calmness within the pet and less stress. They can be where they are used to.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was a child and have always grown up in a very pet friendly household with 2 cats and a dog. My cat I have now is 11 and I’ve had him since he was a kitten and my dog is now 5 who I have also had since she was a puppy. I’ve got experience in dog obedience as well. Friends and family have relied on me to feed, walk, and board their pets in the past. I already take my dog on walks and runs daily and I’m currently very flexible for the next few weeks while on summer vacation as a teacher. I will be able to keep your pet company and give lots of attention in the form of going on walks, throwing the ball, feeding, grooming if necessary, etc. I currently cannot board other pets as I have a cat of my own and don’t want to risk him being stressed or attacked by overly excited dogs!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all ages and sizes. I love animals and I love being active so your dog will be sufficiently walked. I’ve been entrusted to give animals medications, including shots during some of my sitting experiences, so I am familiar with that. I’ve also taken care of homeowners’ plants/yards while they’ve been away! I’ve had many friends and families re-use me for their pets! I am a salaried employee at my job, so I am available to take your dog out throughout the day. If I am gone for work, it’s only about 2-4 hours at my actually office building. About: I have taken care of neighbor’s and friend’s dogs and cats since I was around 12 years old. I grew up with 4-5 dogs and cats at a time, as well as reptiles and amphibians. I have four dogs of my own now. I have cared for dogs as small as chihuahuas and as big as Great Danes. I’ve also cared for puppies and kittens, and have helped in the delivery process of nine German shepherd/Pitbull mixes. I fostered several sets of kittens while I was in high school. I did dog obedience and agility with my childhood dogs for 5 years or so when I was younger, and also went to private obedience lessons, so I am confident I can handle and care for any dog. I am a responsible pet owner as I believe in spay/neuter, I train and walk all of my dogs 4-8 days a month, I have a large fenced in backyard for them, and I keep them happy and healthy. I hope all of this will show you that I am the perfect person to care for your fur baby while you are away. I am also a photographer so I can take some pretty cute photos of your babies for you while you are away! I also offer training services outside of this app. I am working to get enough experience training so I can become certified. If you are interested, please let me know! I am currently a stay at home dog mom, so I am available pretty much any time. I will get up as early or stay up as late as needed to care for your pet. Prices explained: House sitting- $200/night. I have had multiple people try to book house sitting jobs with me and then are shocked by the price. The reason for the price being $200/night and so much higher than my check-in and dog walking prices is because I have to factor in drive time, mileage, and gas that it takes me to get to your home in back, as well as trips I will have to make in between to come home and care for my own dogs and to shower and eat as well as the hours I’m spending at your home overnight. I am away from my own home/bed, family, and dogs so I can do a job that requires me to stay somewhere most of the day and overnight to care for living beings. Because of that, I am going to charge a flat rate of $200 that covers the moment I leave my home to when I return after the last day, which includes every night I spend in your home. If you require me to stay in your home overnight for the job, I will not do it for free. Rover also takes 20% of my earnings, so I am actually only making $160/night. If you break it down, say I’m there for around 12 hours for an overnight house sitting job, I’m only making around $13/hour. If you do not require me to stay overnight, my check in and dog walking prices are much more affordable and I can check in several times a day and stay for up to an hour each time. Also, please list each animal in your home on your profile. As many other Rover sitters, I charge per animal. If there is only one dog on your profile, I expect to only be caring for one dog. It is an additional $10 or less per additional dog, depending on which service you book. I have previously talked about how I care for my dogs in my home, but I will not be offering any kind of in home care as two of my dogs are reactive. However, at the client’s home, I can follow any instructions on care down to the very last detail. I can provide your pet with cuddles and playtime if they are comfortable with it. I can walk them as well, for any amount of time or distance. I will meet your needs and your pet’s needs!

About: I have been involved in several volunteer groups for pets and rescue organizations. I’m sure I could help your peace of mind when you need. I’m currently working for Rover full time. I’m looking to make this a career path and I’m trying to earn more than happiness from Rover. My apartment has a private entrance and I have parks and trails to take them near me that are secure. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a little girl. My grandma raised and sold dachshunds for as long as I can remember. I helped her a lot growing up, from training them, feeding them, walking them etc. I have experience training puppies and also take care of elderly dogs. My dog I’ve had since my childhood turned 13 this year she’s super fragile and sweet. I have house sitted for friends and families over the years weather that was dogs or cats or all animals (I took care of horses too). I love all breeds and sizes of dogs, never met a dog I didn’t like. I make my own routine/schedule for work and so I can be pretty flexible as to when and how many times I see or walk your dog. I have a fenced in yard and about an acre of land for them to roam! We live in a good neighborhood and can take them for long walks around the lake! I can feed, walk, wash, train, and or play with your lovely dog◡̈

About: every sitter loves animals, but I really do adore animals and I love being able to just enjoy and meet new animals. My special skills with animals is to cuddle! I love making sure the fur babies are taking care of with love and respect! I currently work a full time job, M-T from 7 to 5, which is the main reason of dog sitting on the weekends! I can do full weeks just need to know ahead of time to be able to discuss with work! The best option is to have them at the client’s home, animals are always comfortable when at home and a place they know! It’s already scary that a stranger is in there house but much better than a scary car ride into a new house!
