About: I have worked in the veterinary field for 18 years. I love being around animals. Know how to care for pets medically as well as personally. I am a stay at home mom and have more time now that my kids are older and at school. I love caring for animals I have a fenced in back yard at home. I know how to properly administer medications and injections if needed. I understand strict diets. I know pets are a part of your family so their care if very important to me.

About: I’ve always had dogs, ever since I was born, so I have a LOT of experience! I have been trusted with my friends’ pets as well, going over to their houses to take care of the dogs and play with them! I am working part-time right now, so I have pretty good flexibility when it comes to needing someone to come and take care of your pets. I can do some weekends and weekdays. I am not available Wednesday evenings after 4. I will feed them (a certain amount of times a day if that is what you normally do) and make sure they have plenty of water. If they normally go in a crate during the day/at night, I can do that for you as well.

About: I worked with dogs for the past 5 years at a kennel and I have 5 dogs of my own! I’ve watched my grandparents pets on occasion as well! I am on the hunt for a part time job so I’m pretty available as of right now and I’m look forward to spending time with your pets! I will monitor your pet on potty breaks and be observant during walks! I will follow whatever rules you have set in your home/for your pet!

Thank you for understanding. I have no professional experience with dog care, however I have cared for numerous pets over the last 15 years of my life (I'm 21 now) and have loved every bit of it. I am looking to get some extra cash by doing something I love while in college. I love taking dogs to the park to play for hours and then snuggling up with them later because they are so tired. It's my favorite thing to do is tire a dog out so much that all it does is want to sleep later (kind of like a kid, haha). Really just looking for an excuse to spend time with animals. Professionally speaking, I am a student in college studying Sociology and Psychology. I am a part time lifeguard/supervisor, a swim coach, and part time data and research assistant at a local nonprofit organization. I anticipate a Spring 2020 graduation

About: I can't help but attempt to nurture every animal I come across, from a baby squirrel to adopting my former streetcat (Iroh). In addition to housesitting, catsittting, and dogsitting for a number of people in Indianapolis, just in this past year alone, I've also taken upon the responsibility of self-fostering 3 kittens. Recently, I finished 5 months of bathing/grooming training experience through Petco. This past experience has taught me the importance of pet safety and taught me much about dog care and health, from regular bathing to nutrition. I've taken care of several different species of pets in the past 15 years, including several in/outdoor cats, a rabbit, two hamsters, a chameleon, and a former family Labrador Retriever. Since I was young, I've had a large amount of compassion and consideration for all living critters and creatures. I now spend much my time commiting to reading and research about dogs, cats, and other animals. My experience, multiple-species expertise, and unconditional care creates a space where your pet is not only looked after, but loved on. Being a total free-spirit, I currently possess a large amount of flexibility and an open calendar. Especially around those family holidays. I can offer what few others can in this moment, time, intentionality and availability in pet care. 🗓️✨ As a current cat parent myself, I appreciate when I know my cat is in good hands. This not only relieves my stress, but his as well. I can return to preparing for my trip, meeting, or holiday prep worry-free. I have firsthand experience placing my pet's care into another's hands. It took so much much trial, error, and good luck before I settled on a small roster of people who look out for my baby just as well as I can. My fur child deserves to be just as safe and comfortable in his living arrangements as I am in mine, no matter where I am. Finding that type of care is no small feat either. Assuaging my worries (and his) on top of everything else that traveling demands, can really be the cherry on the top of my stress-out sundae. If you resonate with some of these concerns, then I may be the pet sitter for you. I will read the list of your special care instructions AND follow through on their necessities to soothe your nerves and those of your pet. Given the opportunity, I'd love to be a companion they can count on for meals, play/fun times, walks, and any other special activities you share with your little one. About: What sets me apart from others on Rover, is I take this line of work seriously and I usually go above in beyond. If I am selected to sleep at the house you can expect me to actually sleep there. For every one of my client's I have always slept the night until the end. If a puppy is on site I do continue to train the basics, unless other skills are specified to be trained. I love to keep them active and happy! I spend all my free time with your fur baby! I love to give them time to play and run. I enjoy taking them for walks, or giving them a bath! For boarding, I do not have a fenced yard, but I have an electric fence along with an additional collar. If that is not acceptable to you then I will keep the dog on a regular leash during potty breaks. I have two fur babies of my own that do wonderful with new dogs, they love to play! I live in a suburban neighborhood with a perfect loop to take walks. I can also provide a large crate if needed, otherwise the pet will sleep with me. I do allow them on my bed :) For house sitting+dog, I would follow any instruction given to me! Otherwise I assume the dog is yard trained and won’t bolt across the street. If this is a concern of yours then I ask to please provide me with a leash, thank you! If you do not allow your pets on your furniture then I will continue that behavior for you.
