About: Growing up with dogs has been a constant joy in my life! While my current travel schedule makes owning one impossible, I’m thrilled at the opportunity to care for yours. I’m full of energy, which dogs seem to pick up on—we always make great buddies! If your pup loves outdoor adventures, I’d be delighted to take them for a run or explore the great outdoors together. Rest assured, I treat every pet like family, following your house rules to ensure they feel at home and loved while in my care. I’m currently working part-time online, which gives me the flexibility to dedicate plenty of time to caring for your pet. My schedule allows me to adapt to their needs, whether that’s playtime, walks, or just keeping them company throughout the day. I love incorporating outdoor activities like walks or runs into my routine, especially for energetic dogs who enjoy being active. For pets that prefer a quieter pace, I make sure they get the cuddles, attention, and care they need. Caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy, so it fits naturally into my day-to-day life! My sister has two lively standard poodles, and I’ve cared for them many times while she’s away. They live on a farm, so they’re lucky to have plenty of space to roam and explore. My parents also have a small dog and a cat, both of whom I’ve looked after during weekends or family vacations. Additionally, I’ve had the pleasure of house-sitting for friends with their adorable cats, ensuring they’re well cared for while their owners are away.

About: I believe my 2 years in vet med has provided me exceptional knowledge in order to provide the best care for your pets. I practice everyday at work to notice even the smallest of changes in my patients. I, of course, am always making sure they’re comfortable and am always advocating for them! I also would be more than to happy to provide some play time, administer any meds or any other special routines! Similar to when I’m at work, I provide care for my own pets at home. Making sure they have food, water, clean bedding, and making sure they’re comfortable are extremely important to me! About: I’ve been around several dogs throughout the years, both large and small breeds but mostly larger dogs. I’ve taken care of senior dogs with incontinence issues, picky eaters, high-energy dogs, and I think all of them deserve love equally. I’m also very active and make sure they get daily, or twice daily walks— a well exercised dog makes everyone happier! I work full-time Monday-Thursday so I’m picking up a side gig! I’m a part-time student as well, so my main focus on the weekends is homework. I think this works beautifully for house-sitting situations since I am mostly staying in to study, aka lots of quality time spent with your pets! I am very conscientious about what I’m doing in someone else’s home and leave it how I found it, if not better. I believe a dog is most comfortable in their home environment so I want to keep their stress as low as possible and care for them according to the instructions they are used to- ie, feeding times/amounts, potty breaks, walks. I know how hard it is to miss your fur babies so I make sure that I take a lot of photos to send you!

It was difficult to find someone I trusted to dogsit when we travelled, especially because I worried a gate would be left open (Remy is a runner who likes to play keep-away and who would blithely run into the busy street). A neighbor introduced me to Sydney and I no longer worry about leaving Remy. I know he will be safe and well-exercised (Remington is not the best on a leash, but Sydney has no problem controlling him). Sydney is trustworthy, conscientious and kind. Best of all, when the suitcases rolling out the door, Remington is over-joyed to see Sydney.”
