“Nadine took great care of our dog, Rosco while we were away for a long weekend with family. He got to play outdoors a lot more than he does at home, and with other dogs, too. It was his first time boarding anywhere and he was a little nervous but Nadine is a dog whisperer and gave him what he needed to settle in. She also introduced him to her cat; a creature he had little knowledge of, but had admired from afar. Rosco wanted to chase her a little bit but Nadine was able to talk him out of it. She took lots of pictures for us. Good ones! Rosco is usually either asleep or in motion, so he’s not the best photographic model. We’re homebodies, but if we go somewhere again, Rosco will stay with Nadine.”

They went for lots of walks and play time and he seemed very well cared for overall. She even dropped him off for me as I was getting in on a late flight. About: I always jump at the opportunity to pet, play, cuddle with any dog but I am also a former dog mom of 10 years which means I have experience doing all of the things a dog parent does: grooming, trimming nails, feeding, walking/hiking, training (potty/walks/kennel/sit, stay, etc.), cleaning up doggy messes, socializing, administering medicine, establishing a schedule, etc. I am very active so I can keep up with your dog's energy and can also be their cuddle buddy when they're tired! In addition, I have experience caring for anywhere from 1-7 dogs at a time ranging from puppy to senior and chihuahua to husky so I understand that each dog is unique and will need care adjusted to their needs and personality. My availability is flexible and dependent on your location and the amount of days you're looking for! About: I’ve started walking dogs since I was walking in diapers. Throughout the years I’ve taken care of different sizes of dogs~ puppies to seniors. I’ve taken care of dogs that needed medical care and trained my dog and my grandma’s pup. I can say I know a bit of things when it comes dogs. I’m currently going to school in the afternoon and working at a part time, my mornings are almost always open and some of my nights. I’ll Still be willingly to work something out between those times. I like to take my dog out every 4 hrs even if he isn’t waiting at the door just to make sure he gets a nice breeze of the outside. I usually give him a cup of food every morning.

“Finding the right fit for taking care of my two older chihuahuas was very stressful, until I came across Julie and Barry. Firstly, my huge requirement was that they had no dogs of their own and secondly, that they would only have one client at a time. That is not super easy to find. And not only do they fulfill both of those requirements, but it is two people instead of one, so it's an incredible amount of care and attention that is given to any animal that they might care for. One of my pups has some pretty major anxiety and Julie knew just what to do with her. She turns on her heating pad and cuddles up on the couch with her, and I can tell that they are very loved while there. And though I know my pups don't like being away from me, they very obviously feel safe and comfortable with both Julie and Barry. They also have a wonderful place for the dogs to be when outside. Our pups are going to board with them soon and we feel 100% comfortable with it, and excited that we have found Julie and Barry. Besides taking great care of the pups, they are lovely people and we have enjoyed getting to know them.”

About: Throughout my life I’ve had 2 dogs, 7 cats, and I currently live with 3 cats. I don’t have a preference between cats and dogs, I love them equally! I will NEVER have anyone other than myself inside your home or on the property, and I will clean up after myself as well as have the home clean when you get back. I do allow dogs on furniture at my home but will not allow it if needed.
