About: I am very flexible with hours. I am an active person and happy to play with your pet and walk them as much as needed. I grew up in the cold, so weather doesn't bother me walking or driving. I also am willing to work with your hours and do what is best for your pet. I also am always happy to send pictures and check in so you know they are living your best life. I can be flexible but I am a morning person so early walks are okay with me. I can also drop in easily through the day with little issue. I grew up with large dogs (lover (100lbs) and 2 cats, and am the current owner of a Bernese Mountain dog who I love. I love all animals but tend to lean to bigger dogs. I like cats butdon't currently own one due to my husband. I am newer to rover but have spent a lot of time caring for my own pets but also dog sitting for others in their homes over the last 7 years.

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with dogs and currently have two of my own, so caring for them is second nature to me. They truly become part of the family — honestly, my dogs are like my children. Because of this, I understand how important it is to know your dog is safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Whether it’s walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply keeping them company, I make sure every dog feels comfortable and cared for. I’m also a Reiki practitioner and sometimes offer gentle animal Reiki, which can help create a calm and relaxed environment for animals. My experience with energy work has helped me become very patient, attentive, and in tune with what animals need. Your dog will be treated like one of my own — with lots of love, attention, and care. I am available Friday evening through Monday evening most weekend. I believe this would be a great opportunity to care for animals while helping their owners have an easier time in life when responsibilities arise. I have a very clean, comfortable, trusted home. I watch a dear friend of mines dog once in a while, and while I have 2 dogs of my own, they truly enjoy the company of other dogs that can become their new friends! About: Hi, I’m Halie, and I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I had a Black Lab named Jasmine (yes, like the princess from *Aladdin*!), and when she crossed the rainbow bridge, my mom adopted Maggie, a rescued German Shepherd mix. Maggie was spunky, a little wild, and always ready for snuggles. In 2013, I moved from Ohio to Houston, Texas, and saying goodbye to my childhood dog left a hole in my heart. A few months after settling in, I adopted my sweet Coco, a Black Mouth Cur mix. She is affectionate, full of life, and has taught me a lot about caring for dogs with separation anxiety. Shortly after adopting Coco, I began working at a pet resort, where she came to work with me every day and spent her time playing in doggy daycare with her friends while I managed the front desk. I worked there for two years and gained valuable experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. Today, Coco and I live in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs recovering from TPLO surgery, administered insulin injections to diabetic dogs, and provided various oral and topical medications. I’m comfortable caring for pets with special needs and understand the importance of patience, consistency, and attention to detail. As a stay-at-home mom with a daughter who will be going into second grade, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of availability to meet your pet care needs. I would love the opportunity to get to know your furry family members and provide them with the love, attention, and care they deserve while you’re away. I am currently a stay at home mom of 1 daughter who is in second grade. I'm available from around 9am until 3:00 when she gets off the bus. I am free Monday-Friday and occasional weekends and after 3pm if needed. I do not offer in home care but in a clients home I will follow any of the instructions they give me. Wether it is taking your babies on a walk to go potty or playing fetch with them in the yard. I am well versed in medication management and have dealt with 2 dogs who have had TPLO surgeries.

About: I have always been an animal person. I am experienced in giving medication, house training and baths. I have even have given a pet ivs once when they were I'll. I am available all day. If I need to leave my house it is no more than 20mins and I will notify you if wished. I have a medium size fenced in back yard which has plenty of playing space. I also have a water feeder that provides water 24/7.

About: I've loved animals ever since I was a little girl. We always had kittens. When I was 10, we got our first family dog, Trixie, a Miniature Pinscher. Ever since, I've always had either a cat or a dog. I now have 2 dogs and 2 cats. I currently do not have a job. I recently moved up to Ohio over the summer. I have plenty of time to care for your pet or pets. And with your permission, I could bring my 14 year old daughter, who is a huge animal lover like myself. About: Hello! My name is Tabatha Garman, I am the sole owner and operator of Special Paws Pet Care and a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT). As a veterinary technician, I play the nurse role of the veterinary team. I graduated from Kent State University with my Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology in May of 2021 and am currently pursuing my Bachelor's of Integrated Studies focused in animal behavior. While in school for my technician license, I gained various hands-on skills with a variety of animals, from dogs and cats to birds, horses, snakes, and much more. Outside of school, I have trained at numerous veterinary hospitals and gained vital experience in CPR and emergency response. My personal experience caring for animals expands far beyond my education and career, as I have cared for my own, family's, and friend's pets my entire life. As previously mentioned, I have a vast range of experience with different species from small pocket pets and reptiles to large and farm animals. I love working with nearly any species, especially pigs and cows! My medication administration skills are just as vast, including giving various types of injections and fluids, oral pill and liquid administration, topical applications, etc. Any pets with special needs are assured to be taken care of! Specializing in animal behavior, those with unique personalities or who are a bit grumpy or naturally prefer alone time are some of my favorite to work with. I love working to understand them and win them over and am happy to try to work with any type of disposition or behavioral challenges. No job is too big or small. Whether you have a pet that needs daily medication, help getting around, and extra special care, or just want to feel comforted knowing that your furry family member is in great hands, I am happy to care for any and all of them. I am currently dedicating my time to in-home pet care while going to school full-time online, so I am free to fit your pet into my schedule however you may need. While I do personalize my schedule to fit your pet specifically, my typical day is scheduled like this and changed as needed, just to give you a better idea of your pet's time with me: When I arrive, I always spend time making sure your pet is happy, comfortable, and has everything they need. When staying with them overnight, I will keep them company until morning, make sure they have everything they need and get some pets or playtime in, then I will leave as needed to tend to any other appointments, making sure to return to check-in and spend time with them at minimum every 3-4 hours, unless more frequently is needed. Whether you just need a daily check in and play time for your cat while you're away, or if you need someone to take your pup out every couple of hours along with walks and lots of play time, or even if you have an older pup who can't really spend time alone at all, we can definitely make a plan to suit your family purrr-fectly. Your pet's safety is always my top priority. Whether at home, in the car, at the vet, out for a walk, or at the park, I am always extremely diligent to make sure your pet stays safe and sound. I always use doggy seatbelts or enclosures when driving, reflective strips and flashlights at night, ramps and manual assistance for mobility-challenged pups, predator-deterrent to protect them from harm, and vet-approved chews or boredom busters to make sure your pup is happier and healthier when you arrive back home. Out of an abundance of caution, I typically do not have pets I'm watching interact with other pets I'm unfamiliar with (ie: no communal dog parks). In the case that anything does happen while I am with them, I am trained on the safest and most effective way to stop a dog fight, as well as being trained in CPR, emergency triage and response, and homeostatic stabilization. I also always have a list of the nearest emergency hospitals on hand should they ever be needed. I strive to follow all pet-parent's wants and needs for their pets, including whatever training or rules you may have for your pet while they are in my care (crating, treats, toys, etc).
