“Jocelyn is WONDERFUL! Super professional and caring. My dog fell in love with her immediately and he is picky about who he trusts. I booked her because of the reviews and they were 100% spot on!”

“Gwynn is wonderful! She is caring, professional, always there every single day she is scheduled,, which for us is 5 days a week. Whether it be rain, snow, cold, heat, she is dedicated to providing care to our pups. One dog is a drop in visit, the other is for walks. She gives them both her undivided attention, and gives us detailed reports with amazing photos! Thank you Gwynn!”

“Siobhan is as sweet as a person can be. My dog Frankie loves her and she takes his well being seriously and that’s what I wanted. She’s always on time and I trust her in my home when I’m not there. I strongly recommend using Siobhan I will as long as she’s available for Frankie.”

“We have used him twice and he went above and beyond both times walking my dog, from taking him in his car to a better location for a walk to potty breaks and putting him back in his cage and setting it up the way it was before for his anxiety I would absolutely recommend to anyone”

About: Hi, I’m Halie, and I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I had a Black Lab named Jasmine (yes, like the princess from *Aladdin*!), and when she crossed the rainbow bridge, my mom adopted Maggie, a rescued German Shepherd mix. Maggie was spunky, a little wild, and always ready for snuggles. In 2013, I moved from Ohio to Houston, Texas, and saying goodbye to my childhood dog left a hole in my heart. A few months after settling in, I adopted my sweet Coco, a Black Mouth Cur mix. She is affectionate, full of life, and has taught me a lot about caring for dogs with separation anxiety. Shortly after adopting Coco, I began working at a pet resort, where she came to work with me every day and spent her time playing in doggy daycare with her friends while I managed the front desk. I worked there for two years and gained valuable experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. Today, Coco and I live in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs recovering from TPLO surgery, administered insulin injections to diabetic dogs, and provided various oral and topical medications. I’m comfortable caring for pets with special needs and understand the importance of patience, consistency, and attention to detail. As a stay-at-home mom with a daughter who will be going into second grade, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of availability to meet your pet care needs. I would love the opportunity to get to know your furry family members and provide them with the love, attention, and care they deserve while you’re away. I am currently a stay at home mom of 1 daughter who is in second grade. I'm available from around 9am until 3:00 when she gets off the bus. I am free Monday-Friday and occasional weekends and after 3pm if needed. I do not offer in home care but in a clients home I will follow any of the instructions they give me. Wether it is taking your babies on a walk to go potty or playing fetch with them in the yard. I am well versed in medication management and have dealt with 2 dogs who have had TPLO surgeries.

About: I’ve cared for animals my entire life and recently completed a veterinary assistant program through my school’s career and technical center, as well as volunteered at the local animal shelter. Through my training, I’ve learned safe animal handling, recognizing signs of illness, administering basic care, maintaining cleanliness, and keeping pets comfortable and stress-free. I’ve cared for both dogs and cats of different ages and personalities. I understand how important it is to treat every pet with patience, kindness, and attention to detail. I’ll care for your pets as if they were my own. I currently have a flexible schedule, allowing me to provide care throughout the week. I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine for feeding, walks, playtime, medications if needed, and plenty of affection. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. Through my veterinary assistant training, I’ve learned safe handling techniques and how to recognize when a pet may not be feeling well. I’ll follow your pet’s routine closely, keep their environment clean and secure, and provide regular updates with photos so you can feel confident they’re receiving loving, dependable care.
About: I've loved animals ever since I was a little girl. We always had kittens. When I was 10, we got our first family dog, Trixie, a Miniature Pinscher. Ever since, I've always had either a cat or a dog. I now have 2 dogs and 2 cats. I currently do not have a job. I recently moved up to Ohio over the summer. I have plenty of time to care for your pet or pets. And with your permission, I could bring my 14 year old daughter, who is a huge animal lover like myself. I will care for your pet or pets as if they were my own. I'm a stickler for following instructions. If you hire me, you won't be let down!

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with two dogs and a cat of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your pets. I’m very active and love taking dogs on walks, getting them exercise, and keeping them happy & engaged. I also have experience administering oral medication to both dogs and cats and have successfully completed training classes with my own dog. I’ll treat your pets like my own—with patience, attention, and plenty of love—and will send regular updates and pictures so you know they’re happy and well cared for. I’m on Rover because I genuinely love animals and want to make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved throughout the process! I currently have a very flexible schedule as I am between jobs, which allows me to be highly available for pet care throughout the week. I’m able to accommodate walks and drop-ins with plenty of flexibility. I focus on following your pet’s normal routine and keeping them comfortable in their own environment. I’ll carefully follow any instructions you provide for feeding, medications, walks, playtime, and anything else your pet needs. I also understand that I’m entering someone else’s home, so I’ll be respectful of your space, keep things clean & tidy, and treat your home with the same ca as and respect I would want for my own.

About: I have extensive experience with animals of all sorts. I grew up with English mastiff dogs, then became a husky lover later on in life. I've owned sheep, goats, cows, horses, chickens, dogs, cats and much more. I grew up on a mini farm and we always had different animals who were raised with lots of love and care. About: Hi! I’m Izzy, and I have over 10 years of experience caring for pets of all breeds, ages, sizes, and personalities. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I grew up with a yellow Labrador, so dogs have always held a special place in my heart. Today, I am a cat owner, which has given me an even greater appreciation for the unique personalities and needs of both dogs and cats. About: Hello! My name is Tabatha Garman, I am the sole owner and operator of Special Paws Pet Care and a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT). As a veterinary technician, I play the nurse role of the veterinary team. I graduated from Kent State University with my Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology in May of 2021 and am currently pursuing my Bachelor's of Integrated Studies focused in animal behavior. While in school for my technician license, I gained various hands-on skills with a variety of animals, from dogs and cats to birds, horses, snakes, and much more. Outside of school, I have trained at numerous veterinary hospitals and gained vital experience in CPR and emergency response. My personal experience caring for animals expands far beyond my education and career, as I have cared for my own, family's, and friend's pets my entire life. As previously mentioned, I have a vast range of experience with different species from small pocket pets and reptiles to large and farm animals. I love working with nearly any species, especially pigs and cows! My medication administration skills are just as vast, including giving various types of injections and fluids, oral pill and liquid administration, topical applications, etc. Any pets with special needs are assured to be taken care of! Specializing in animal behavior, those with unique personalities or who are a bit grumpy or naturally prefer alone time are some of my favorite to work with. I love working to understand them and win them over and am happy to try to work with any type of disposition or behavioral challenges. No job is too big or small. Whether you have a pet that needs daily medication, help getting around, and extra special care, or just want to feel comforted knowing that your furry family member is in great hands, I am happy to care for any and all of them. I am currently dedicating my time to in-home pet care while going to school full-time online, so I am free to fit your pet into my schedule however you may need. While I do personalize my schedule to fit your pet specifically, my typical day is scheduled like this and changed as needed, just to give you a better idea of your pet's time with me: When I arrive, I always spend time making sure your pet is happy, comfortable, and has everything they need. When staying with them overnight, I will keep them company until morning, make sure they have everything they need and get some pets or playtime in, then I will leave as needed to tend to any other appointments, making sure to return to check-in and spend time with them at minimum every 3-4 hours, unless more frequently is needed. Whether you just need a daily check in and play time for your cat while you're away, or if you need someone to take your pup out every couple of hours along with walks and lots of play time, or even if you have an older pup who can't really spend time alone at all, we can definitely make a plan to suit your family purrr-fectly. Your pet's safety is always my top priority. Whether at home, in the car, at the vet, out for a walk, or at the park, I am always extremely diligent to make sure your pet stays safe and sound. I always use doggy seatbelts or enclosures when driving, reflective strips and flashlights at night, ramps and manual assistance for mobility-challenged pups, predator-deterrent to protect them from harm, and vet-approved chews or boredom busters to make sure your pup is happier and healthier when you arrive back home. Out of an abundance of caution, I typically do not have pets I'm watching interact with other pets I'm unfamiliar with (ie: no communal dog parks). In the case that anything does happen while I am with them, I am trained on the safest and most effective way to stop a dog fight, as well as being trained in CPR, emergency triage and response, and homeostatic stabilization. I also always have a list of the nearest emergency hospitals on hand should they ever be needed. I strive to follow all pet-parent's wants and needs for their pets, including whatever training or rules you may have for your pet while they are in my care (crating, treats, toys, etc). If there are any additional safety measures you would like to discuss, just let me know!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
