“Heather was amazing with our anxious, energetic German shepherd mix, Nox. Heather, her husband & their kids did great with Nox and she was a happy, tired pup when we picked her up. You can tell they are comfortable with and used to dogs of all kinds. Nox is terrified of thunderstorms & needs to take medication to help with her anxiety. Nox’s first night with Heather, there was a storm rough enough to knock their power out for several hours. Heather made accommodations to soothe Nox, administered Nox’s anxiety medication in the middle of the night and made sure Nox was able to be as comfortable as possible. If you’re looking for a sitter that will treat your pet just like you would— this is a great fit. They’re super flexible with time, availability and have lots of hands to help. I have nothing but positive things to say about our experience with them!”

About: I have owned dogs and cats since 1985 and was on a K9 Search and Rescue team for 18+ years so I have worked with all types of dogs and have a lot of experience with training. I currently work outside the home M-F 9-5 but can work from home upon request. Weekends I am home the majority of the time and spend most of my time hanging out with my own dogs (two labs) I have hosted a variety of dogs in my home including corgis, labs, goldens, frenchies, pitties, mals, and other assorted breeds. I treat everyone's pets just like my own - lots of treats, snuggles, couch naps, and of course sleeping on the bed if they want. Both of my labs are extremely friendly and love pretty much all dogs, but I do have experience sitting some dogs who preferred to be separate from my boys via either baby gates or kennels (depending on what the dog is comfortable with). I have a large fenced in backyard and a smaller fenced in front yard. The backyard has a doggie door that allows the dogs to go in and out at will, although when I am not home, I do not give any dogs access to the yard (even my own dogs as a safety issue).

About: I’m living for a healthier life and having a companion to walk with when getting my exercise is my goal. I love animals and always take care of my families dogs when they go on vacation. I live in an open area and have had many cats and dogs living with me inside and outside. Growing up, I have always wanted to go into the dog walking business and this is the best way to achieve two things in one. I’m willing to drive to a dog park to allow the dogs to run without a leash, but where I live, the dog would have to stay on a leash even though I live in the country because some drivers can be reckless and I care about the safety of the animals. I am a full-time teacher, so I work 7-3. Summer, my availability will be much higher and I can walk or care for your animal anytime of the day. I have two dogs that love being outside when it is nice out. My yard is not fenced, but I have a run in the yard and one on the porch. I try to take my dogs on walks once a day when the weather is nicer out. My animals all love each other and very friendly with others.

About: Everyone on here probably has a lot of experience caring for dogs and cats, but few can also say they've bathed, fed, trained, and cared for a variety of other animals such as horses, sheep, chinchillas, ferrets, birds, and even armadillos. I raised a golden retriever and a dozen cats growing up, among other farm animals. I also currently work as a full-time zookeeper at Keystone Safari. I love animals and enriching their lives is my passion, so you can be assured your pet will get the most professional and personal care possible. I work 4 days a week and my schedule varies each week, I will find out my work schedule about a week in advance and do my best to keep my availability updated on here! About: I am a single mom with 20 year old daughter who is away at college. I have a golden retriever who loves to have dog friends visit. Your pet will get the same TLC as my own dog. They will be a part of our family while they are with us. I have a fenced in yard, making it easy for your pet to be safe and get some exercise too. I have been watching dogs in my home for about 25 years. I work from home Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and I am gone on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from about 10-4, so I am almost always home aside from the occasional errands. On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, I can always run home in the middle of the day if a potty break is needed. Accidents are ok too. Mine has had a few over the years. Your dog will never be in trouble if this happens. You won’t have to worry about your dogs when they are with me. They will be treated like family. I work from home, so your pets will rarely be left alone. When they are, it is just for brief periods for when I running errands. I have a fenced in yard and w very friendly fur baby of my own. I can let them out frequently and always supervise outside even though my yard is fenced. I am able to feed them if they are here during meal time. I will just need to know if your dog is food possessive so I can make sure they eat separately from my dog. Unfortunately I can’t leave your dogs food down throughout the day because my dog will eat it.

About: I have had pets ever since I was a small child: dogs, cats, hamster, gerbils, chinchilla, parakeet, turtles, even a toad that we saved from a freezing winter. We took care of it till spring and then released it. I love animals of all types. Almost, I'm not babysitting your tarantula or pet snake. My dog and cat are loved as if they were my children and your dog will be treated this way as well. We enjoy taking walks and car rides to the dog park in nice days. I never allow my dog outside without me. I am semi-retired and I work from home painting and repairing furniture and working on various crafts. Therefore I am very flexible with my time. I live in a decent sized 2 story home with a large back yard. It is not fenced all the way so my dog is always on a cable or leash. We live to go for walks and to the dog park for extra exercise. My dog is a husky mix and is almost 4 years old. She loves dogs of all sizes.

I walk my dog 3-5x everyday depending on the weather. I also fill their water bowl and food bowl every morning. A few times throughout the week I go to the dog park. About: I’ve had a lifetime of caring for a wide range of animals. Particularly dogs and horses but all creatures welcome. Good with body language and attentive to animals needs. I’m an avid hiker and love taking dogs for walks. 💕 I work part time from home and have a flexible schedule to accommodate your pet’s needs. This flexibility lends itself well to constant care required by puppies, the elderly and other special souls. I rarely host multiple families of dogs at one time (might be some overlap on pickup/drop off days) and prefer to focus on a quality experience for the dog over multiple bookings. If you make a request and I tell you it’s not a good fit at this time, it’s because I have carefully considered the safety and happiness of another client. Your pet will not be left unattended for extended periods of time during the day. I know firsthand how stressful it can be to find quality pet care and pride myself on being dependable and responsive. I take the responsibility of caring for your animal seriously. I live in a rural area on a road with very little traffic. We have two horses, chickens and two dogs on our 14 acre property. I do not have a fenced area and use tie outs for porch lounging and hand walking for potty runs. Your pet will have access to the main floor of my house (no stairs) including furniture (if allowed). The ability to change the floor plan also allows to separate animals if beneficial.

Nox’s first night with Heather, there was a storm rough enough to knock their power out for several hours. Heather made accommodations to soothe Nox, administered Nox’s anxiety medication in the middle of the night and made sure Nox was able to be as comfortable as possible. If you’re looking for a sitter that will treat your pet just like you would— this is a great fit. They’re super flexible with time, availability and have lots of hands to help. About: I have owned dogs and cats since 1985 and was on a K9 Search and Rescue team for 18+ years so I have worked with all types of dogs and have a lot of experience with training. I currently work outside the home M-F 9-5 but can work from home upon request. Weekends I am home the majority of the time and spend most of my time hanging out with my own dogs (two labs) I have hosted a variety of dogs in my home including corgis, labs, goldens, frenchies, pitties, mals, and other assorted breeds. I treat everyone's pets just like my own - lots of treats, snuggles, couch naps, and of course sleeping on the bed if they want. Both of my labs are extremely friendly and love pretty much all dogs, but I do have experience sitting some dogs who preferred to be separate from my boys via either baby gates or kennels (depending on what the dog is comfortable with). I have a large fenced in backyard and a smaller fenced in front yard. The backyard has a doggie door that allows the dogs to go in and out at will, although when I am not home, I do not give any dogs access to the yard (even my own dogs as a safety issue).

I also have outdoor kennels available for the pups to stay in during the day(weather permitting) or indoor crates when I am away for work(up to 4 hours). Tie outs can also be used if your pup is an escape artist. Boarding pets will be kept separate from my own pets unless otherwise agreed upon.
