About: I grew up with all types of different pets in the household from dogs to guinea pigs to birds and even shrimp! So, naturally, I came to love for all animals! Loving them means to also care for them, so I had to provide care for each animal making sure they were properly fed, cleaned, and had a safe environment to sleep. What you can expect from me: * Quick responses * Reliable scheduling * Updates/photos during visits * Respect for your home and routine I currently work part time and go to school full time, but I still have plenty of time to dedicate to the loved animals of San Antonio. I promise to provide the absolute best care to your pets and to your homes. I will make sure your pets are kept safe and properly cared for. I also walk my dogs all the time, so I know proper handling and care when walking a dog.

About: I've lived on a small farm since I was 10 where I've bathed, fed, and cared for multiple dogs, cats, chickens, goats and a bunny. Including puppies and kittens. Friends and family have relied on me to pet sit, provide grooming, medications, walks, and feed their pets. Often times stray animals will make their way into our yard and if they are injured, I'll care for them, feed them and foster them until I can identify their owners. I love all animals and consider each and every one of my pets as family. I am available during the morning and evenings on the weekdays, weekends, and on most holidays to care for your fur baby! At minimum, I spend an hour each visit to ensure your pet(s) are fed, clean, has had time to play and overall gets plenty of love and attention. In your home, I respect and take care of the home and pet(s) as if they were my own. I create a fun, safe and comfortable space for both the owner and pet(s) as I continuously provide updates and/or photos of the pet(s) to the owners during each visit. Depending on the rules from the pet owner, at night I will ensure the pet(s) do get crated and are inside and safe for bedtime and dinner.

“Here's the thing...Mandy is awesome! She wanted to do a Meet and Greet with our pup, before setting up a walking appointment. Our Border Collie is a shy girl when it comes to strangers. Mandy came in and sat on the floor, being patient and letting our dog come to her. After maybe 2 minutes our pup was best friends with her lol. Our pup kept getting Mandy to play tug, and throw her toy. It was so funny and cute. She didn't want to just take our money. She wanted to make sure she was a good fit for our dog, before committing to a walk. That's pretty cool. After taking our pup on a walk she always makes sure there's water in the bowl before she leaves. Mandy is very organized and professional! I would 100% recommend her.”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life. I have helped to train my grandparents farm dogs, watched neighbors/ friends dogs and served at pet shelters. I love being outdoors walking with a friend. I am currently waiting to be sent off for the army and in the mean time I work at a rock climbing gym. I have weekends off and flexible work hours during the week. I understand how important consistency is for dogs, so I carefully follow each owner’s instructions for feeding, walks, medication (when needed), potty breaks, playtime, and any special care. I also know that leaving your pet with someone else requires trust, which is why I prioritize communication by providing regular updates and photos throughout every visit. Living in Texas means I always keep the weather in mind when caring for dogs. During especially hot days, I focus on safe ways for pets to stay active and comfortable. I’m an active person who enjoys spending time outdoors, so energetic dogs will always get plenty of exercise, while calmer dogs will receive the patience and attention they need.
