About: I’ve taken care and owned cats and dogs my entire life and have taken care of many of my neighbors and friends pets while they were away or on vacation. I’m currently working part-time until Christmas so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your precious animal. Even after Christmas my availability should be pretty open. Dogs are always leashed when outside. Cats sometimes come and go or they are an inside cat and need fresh water, food and a clean litter box
About: Hello! I was in the service industry for over 25 years, and developed lots of allergies…so I am now the Barktender! I own my own business, offering cleaning, petsitting and other services my commUNITY may need. Very rewarding! Love my life! I am using Rover to fill in the few gaps I have, hopefully outside my home area, to travel more. The winters are getting too long for me, after being in the mountains for almost 20 years. I have been apprenticing under a dog trainer for several years and about to venture on my own! I have experience with some livestock and eager for more experience! I have a thirst for knowledge and learn quickly. I love animals and do my best to treat all the animals as my own. I own my own business and try to schedule jobs to accommodate to your pets needs. I do cleaning, yard work etc on the side and my schedule is very flexible. I can not have pets in my home. This is why I started the business. I love animals and hard to find pet friendly places in the mountains! Your pets are my priority!
About: I work for a mobile company that provides non anesthetic dentals to dogs and cats who qualify! I am very experienced with animal behavior and many breed specific concerns. I love working with animals. I’m a college student on top of working a full time job! My main goal is to start to make more money for school to eventually receive my doctorate in psychology. I love animals more than anything and I’d love to believe they can sense that! I’m very big on positive reinforcement! And on top of it, I’m a huge sucker for animal snuggles!

About: I currently take care of my family’s 2 dogs. We have had dogs in the house since I was born and was raised to care for them, the most we’ve had has been 4 at once. I believe that it is the people’s responsibility to give their pets the best life possible and I care for my dogs under that belief! I am a college athlete, therefore pet care is a luxury to step away from the action towards. My summer schedule is fully clear except for occasional 2-4 hour training sessions. I believe that pets depend on their caretakers for a complete, safe, and nourishing environment to be the happiest therefore I strive to give my pets and others the best lifestyle possible!
“Billie just stayed at our house for 18 days to watch our two cats (one senior and one teenager) & she is WONDERFUL! We had excellent communication leading up to the stay, regular feedback and pictures while we were gone, and we returned to a spotless house and two very happy cats. Billie is excellent at what she does for pets and we will absolutely use her again.”

About: I’ve had the joy of caring for pets since I was a preteen growing up on CO’s Western Slope! I’ve worked with a wide variety of pets: from 100lb+ Bernese Mountain Dogs to 5lb Chihuahuas, from puppies/kittens to seniors, from active runners to couch potatoes! I have worked with multi-pet and multi-species households including, dogs, cats, rabbits and chickens. I have experience administering specialty diets, complex medication regimes and accommodating disabled pets. I work remotely and on a flexible contract basis which means I am able to fit my schedule to accommodate you and your pet’s needs. My pet care philosophy is to prioritize safety, health/wellness and engaging fun. I want pet owners to have peace of mind that their beloved companions are thriving in my care.
About: I was the primary caretaker of 5 dogs growing up and am the first friend asked by those close to me to watch their pets when they leave town. As an adult I've owned cats but currently have an occasionally pet free home to offer boarding in. I have an affinity for animals they seem to find me calming and I feel similarly in their presence. It is my promise to any pet owner that entrusts me with their pet for any amount of time to not only provide them an exemplary level of attentive care but also be a kind loving friend for them that they can always be excited to see. I will only be scheduling myself available for time when I can make pet care my primary focus. Whether I'm watching your pet for the day or boarding them overnight I will not be leaving the home unless I absolutely have to for an emergency. My care is happiness focused. The most important thing is the happiness of the owner by ensuring that any care guidelines or restrictions are strictly followed at all times. And while staying within those boundaries I will also be attentive to make sure pets are given the environment they're seeking whether that is a safe and quiet space to themselves or a nice play session in the back yard or a relaxing movie on the couch.
About: I'm an animal lover! My first pet was at 5 years old; a Jack Russell Terrier who had boundless energy. Someone had to keep up with my 3 older brothers and I! I jump at the chance to pet sit for family, friends, neighbors, coworkers, and Rover clients! We love going for long walks, practicing tricks, being cozy, and sometimes treat them to a little spa time in the bath. I've watched approximately 30 dogs over the past 15 years. I love animals and grew up working on goat and horse farms, with puppies & dogs running around everywhere. I work from home, and am extremely flexible and reliable. I find keeping dogs on a regular schedule is helpful, and make sure I'm there whenever they need me! Walks, walks, and more walks! I’m very attentive and available to ensure you can have peace of mind knowing your loved one is in great hands.
“Lexus stayed at our house for several days to keep an eye on our cat to make sure his urinary blockage didn’t come back. I was nervous about leaving my kitties with someone new, but Lexus did a great job giving them their medicine and was a very calming presence with them!”

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
