“Amy is such a great pet sitter! I was leaving my cat behind for the first time and Amy took such a good care of him! Due to her I could travel without worrying! My cat is skittish and is scared if people but with Amy he felt so comfortable! Amy also used to send me regular updates and pictures! Additionally, she also kept my apartment clean! I would totally recommend her to be your pet sitter :)”

“Sarah has been a lifesaver as our puppy Carly gets adjusted to her second home in the mountains. Having Sarah come to walk and spend time with Carly allows us to spend more time skiing.”

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of pets since I was 10. I have also had family pets throughout my life (3 dogs)! I have a very open schedule and am able to spend lots of time loving on your dogs and cats. I do have a job at a local hotel but have plenty of time to play with your pups/cats! If I do have work my shift is between 4-8 hours and right next to my condo so I can stop by in the middle of the day to let them out and spend time with them. My flexible schedule allows time for me to provide outstanding attention to your fur babies! Keep a very dog friendly and fun environment. I have 2 roommates that love to have pets staying with us and helping out.

About: I live here in Grand County and work remotely, so I have availability for your pet whenever they may need, every day of the week! I love getting outdoors, so if your pet has good leash skills or recall, I’d love to take them running or uphilling here in the Valley! I no longer have any pets of my own, but I did love a beagle and a senior cat (and all his quirks!) for many years. Working as a remote professional, I have ample time throughout my day to stop in to relieve your pet, take them for a walk, stay for a few hours, or even overnight for greater companionship. I bring my services into your own home, so your pet is in a safe and familiar environment. Once we familiarize ourselves, I can help your pet feel as though a friend is coming through the door every time I visit!

“Lauren is a very caring pet sitter, and a very nice person. She did a wonderful job caring for my senior cat, Missy for 11 days. Lauren and I had a phone call before her first day visiting Missy. I told her that Missy wasn’t doing well (not eating, sluggish, etc.), but Lauren had no reservations about taking care of Missy. We communicated daily, and Lauren was very thorough in giving me updates about Missy’s condition and behavior. I appreciated Lauren’s flexibility in her visit schedule, and her willingness to go above and beyond. I would definitely hire Lauren again. Thank you, Lauren!!”

About: I have been caring for dogs since childhood, with a significant increase in experience as an adult. Over the past two years, I have actively engaged in dog care by assisting neighbors, responding to online requests, and offering my services wherever needed. I currently work full-time as a pet sitter and thoroughly enjoy every moment of it. My working hours are flexible. I offer various services including boarders, pet sits, drop-ins, and much more. I prioritize caring for pets according to the parents’ instructions, and I encourage any additional details or requests to be left in the notes section. My goal is to provide care for your pets as if they were my own!
About: Hello! I was in the service industry for over 25 years, and developed lots of allergies…so I am now the Barktender! I own my own business, offering cleaning, petsitting and other services my commUNITY may need. Very rewarding! Love my life! I am using Rover to fill in the few gaps I have, hopefully outside my home area, to travel more. The winters are getting too long for me, after being in the mountains for almost 20 years. I have been apprenticing under a dog trainer for several years and about to venture on my own! I have experience with some livestock and eager for more experience! I have a thirst for knowledge and learn quickly. I love animals and do my best to treat all the animals as my own. I own my own business and try to schedule jobs to accommodate to your pets needs. I do cleaning, yard work etc on the side and my schedule is very flexible. I can not have pets in my home. This is why I started the business. I love animals and hard to find pet friendly places in the mountains! Your pets are my priority!
About: I have worked with all kinds of animals and enjoy helping in all the ways I can offer. I have experience in many housesitting/petcare situations. I have been helping families with pet care, childcare, and house management for 6 years professionally. I have helped with elderly dogs, and personally have an older dog that takes medication, therefore, I am comfortable taking on these tasks. I love puppies and am happy to help with them as well. I am active and health conscious, I like taking my dog on hikes, walks and to the river beds where she can splash. I enjoy taking my dog along on adventures, she is a Kai Ken mix and is great with animals and children. Although, I dont mind leaving her at home if your animal doesnt do well with others. I am currently working mostly remote and would love to help with your pets. Plus, it's so good for my doggo to get some playmates when possible I have a medium sized fenced in yard and I lovr keeping the animals happy and loved. I am big on training and positive reinforcement.
About: Beginning as a volunteer and rescuer, I then moved into pet and house sitting. I continue to foster and volunteer with a local animal rescue and treasure my time with all kinds of animals. I am creating this profile to highlight my specialty services such as dog running, homemade pet food, and portraiture.** A lover of all animals and nature, I’m happiest with both. My touch and voice are gentle, and my style is consistent. Having pets of all kinds and sizes growing up and continuing into adulthood has been a sincere source of joy, gratitude, and service. In the last few years, my time spent volunteering at a local rescue has greatly expanded my experience and skill- especially with special needs animals. Special services and care that I offer include: ~applying my professional chef training to prepare specialty pet food for unique needs, allergies, anxiety, or other conditions alleviated with herbs and nutrition ~when house/pet sitting for you, I’m happy to address the refrigerator and pantries to prepare food before it spoils and leaving you a home cooked meal upon your return or storing in your freezer ~professionally cleaned, organized, and stocked kitchen for you while you are at work or away Additionally, I have been trained and actively competing in Colorado roller derby for 7 years. Using this experience, robust padding, and training, I will exercise dogs that need more than a walk to take them at their pace and level on trail runs on my roller skates. In my many years experience of doing this with several clients as well as rescue animals in my foster care, I have observed many benefits such as: ~improved obedience ~naturally filed nails ~increased happiness and smiles ~less scratching, digging, jumping, whining, barking, and other undesirable behavior ~better sleeping ~improved health and well being The majority of my time during the day is spent outdoors hiking, roller skating the bike paths, or in the garden, and I love to have the company of animals for all of it. At night, I cook, dance, and will read aloud to whoever is in the house. I find animals love this too. As a private chef, I have a lot of time outside of scheduled private events and parties. I can build catering quotes, shop online, and write menus from anywhere. This leaves plenty of time and attention for animals in my care. I like to be outdoors as much as possible and having a pet companion makes it all the more enjoyable for me. I live in a clean and cozy townhouse very near multiple parks and paths. I use harnesses and good judgment while on excursions. I am trained in pet care, proper hydration, nutrition, and herbalism for pets. I never raise my voice and use positive reinforcement and fun to enlist cooperation. Furthermore, animals that are food motivated or fun motivated LOVE me. I love to be outdoors and active but can also cuddle inside for the furry friends that prefer one or both. If your dog likes to run, good news! I like to go fast on the bike paths! Caring for your pet(s) is the highest honor and takes priority while in my care. Please let me know about special needs, but otherwise you can trust that my regular routine is to play, be outside, laugh, show kindness, and provide stellar caregiving.
