“After three day camps we’re beyond happy with the level of care and fun that Mitzi has provided to our rescue Maltese, Winnie. Our goal was to provide a fun, safe, and positive socializing experience for Winnie, who is still very much coming into her own after being rescued from a puppy mill just five months ago. From pictures and videos, to text messages checking in with us throughout the day, we’ve come to realize how fortunate we were to discover Mitzi’s day care, she really dotes on all of the dogs and it’s such a comforting feeling knowing your dog is in great hands. We highly recommend Mitzi and hope others with shy/introverted dogs are equally fortunate to have their dogs spend time playing the day away in their giant back yard with friends of all sizes.”

“Once again, Kaya had a great time and was in good hands! Exceptional care and flexibility when I needed it due to recent weather events and unexpected delays. Thank you SO much!”

“Jackie was amazing looking after my dog! She and her family treated my dog like he was part of the family! Jackie was very easy to work with, very professional, and it’s easy to tell she has a passion for animals! I will definitely be using her services again!”

About: For my husband and me, caring for dogs is a deep-seated passion. Our world revolves around their happiness and well-being. We started this journey because we believe every dog deserves to feel safe, cherished, and right at home, even when their favorite people are away. When your dog stays with us, they become a temporary, but much-loved, member of our family. As a husband-and-wife team, pet care is the heart of our household's daily rhythm. Our days are structured around our furry guests, including morning and evening walks, dedicated playtime, and consistent feeding times. Because we're a team, there is always someone home, ensuring your dog receives constant companionship and attention. Their routine truly guides our day. Our number one priority is creating a safe, secure, and loving environment. We do not have a fenced yard, but we do take them for a walk all the time (always when needed). We treat every dog like a member of our family, with plenty of affection. To build trust, we maintain your dog's specific routine and send you daily photo and video updates, giving you complete peace of mind that they are happy and in responsible hands.

“Dakota has only been with Bonnie for one week and she is so happy (and super tired when she gets home). I appreciate Bonnie’s status messages and videos, throughout the day - especially, the first one to put a “dog mom’s” nerves to rest. Appreciate Bonnie and her care, so very much! ❤️”

“We were visiting from out of town and needed some place for our active 1 yo pup to spend some time. Hannah was wonderful - she has a great set up for active dogs - I wish I could find someone where we live like her!!!”

About: I’ve always grown up with dogs, and so have my children. We have fostered with local rescues and helped friends and family with dog sitting needs. We have a fenced in yard and plenty of space to entertain your best friends! I am currently home full time, so can be totally flexible with scheduling. Looking forward to filling some of our time with extra doggo love! I have 3 teenage daughters who love to walk, brush, bathe, and play with dogs of all kinds, but are also responsible and understanding enough to give space to quieter or more senior animals. I also have 2 dogs of my own. Petunia is super friendly and especially loves puppies as she thinks they’re all her babies! Sofie loves to play with lots of friends! I work from home full time so will be with your babies all the time! I can be very flexible with scheduling and lengths of stay. I have a fenced in yard and plenty of space. I can crate if needed, but will be home and available during their stay if they are like my dogs and prefer to lounge with me on the couch.

“We have been using Craig for over a year and our dog is in love with going over. She even knows his name and always enjoys herself. He is the most accommodating, flexible, and easy to work with. Big ups to Craig”

About: I sometimes feel like a dog/cat whisper. I have a very calm nature and I think dogs/cats can really pick up on this. I have had animals of my own but could no longer afford the monetary funds it takes to care for dogs and cats. I am a retired active senior citizen and I have a lot of spare time I would love to devote to dog/cat boarding or walking. When I do care for dogs/cats in my home, I try to make sure they feel I care for them and snuggle and hold them, if I am allowed by the animal. I always wait to see if they have sniffed me and that lets me know they are or are not accepting of me.

About: Top tier sitting for tiny tail waggers!! I have had small dogs my whole life. To say they are loved and pampered in our family is an understatement. I do not have a dog of my own in the house right now or any other animals. Your prince or princess would be doted on and loved while you’re away. I’m semi- retired and spend most of my time at home working part time or out in the yard and garden. When the weather permits I walk the neighborhood. When there are errands, I love 4 legged company. Your pet will get lots of love and attention. I will follow your instructions if there is a routine or specific need - special food, shouldn’t be on the furniture, or any other rules.

“Hannah & Patrick were great with our pups. We did a meet & greet the week before so our dogs could meet on a nice walk. They have a nice sized yard for the dogs to play outside & took them on lots of walks! They only spent the day with them but they got lots of love, exercise & I got a lot of pics! Can’t wait for Lily& Ellie to visit again”

About: I offer a reliable, dog-friendly home where your pup is treated like family. With a fully fenced yard for safe play, cozy dog cots or couch snuggles, and plenty of love to go around, your dog will feel right at home. I also have experience fostering puppies, so I’m comfortable with all ages, energy levels, and personalities! I am a teacher, so I’m currently on summer break with open availability. I am looking to help other dog owners out with their fur babies. We have a fenced in yard and dogs will be able to freely roam on the main floor of our house. Depending on your needs, the dog can either be crated or uncrated at night.

“Dawn was wonderful! She was very welcoming, communicative and sweet with my 4 month old puppy. She sent updates and pictures and I knew he was in good hands the moment I dropped him off. I look forward to him visiting again.”

About: Hello! Let me tell you a little bit about why your puppies and I should hang out! I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember, dogs especially! I am the person who stops a conversation to say “look a dog!”. Over the years I’ve learned many different skills including but not limited to.. dog behavior/body language, dogs with disabilities, basic medication and training. I’ve been pet sitting for friends and neighbors alike for many years and recently had the opportunity to work more directly with behavior and care needs to hone in my skills even more. I’m very comfortable with all breeds, sizes and ages. There is a saying “everyone believes that they have the best dog in the world and everyone is right”. With this in mind your pets are the best and will receive the same love and care as my own! Rover is my full time career so your pets and I will hang out all day and night together! Your pets routine is very important! Your animals safety is number one priority. You will receive regular updates and photos and if there is anything specific to your pets a written description would be greatly appreciated so everyone is on the same page

About: I’ve had a variety of pets from the age of 4! From dogs & cats to rabbits, chinchillas & bunnies. They’re like another family member and I’ve always loved taking care of them as such. My grandmother grew up on a farm & helped me learn everything about taking care of animals, so I hope with the experience and care she’s taught me, I can give them that same warm home away from home feeling. I am completely remote in my job. I work from home so my time is VERY flexible, and I would be able to take out any dogs as often as needed. I live in a townhome with 2 cats who have been around other animals. They are completely up to date with shots & both are spayed/neutered! I can take out any puppies at any time as my neighborhood is pet friendly.

“Jessica is an absolute gem! She took good care of Riley and sent lots of photo updates while I had to fly out to California for the day. I really enjoyed seeing them and it made me feel comfortable knowing Riley was in good hands and having fun. Her dog River is very friendly and sweet! Riley and her played well together. This was my first experience using Rover and I had many questions–Jessica was very patient with me and even agreed to a meet and greet prior to make sure our dogs got a long well. I would definitely recommend her services to anyone. She treated Riley like he was part of the family, he was allowed on furniture and got to enjoy movie night with her and her husband. Thank you Jessica!”

About: I worked for sixteen of those 20 years for a Veterinary radiologist. I have done a lot of pet sitting here at my house, and I have made a lot of home visits. I have gone to homes for 20 years. I still take care of some of those animals. I live out in the country with 1 1/2 acres of fenced in yard with doggy door and screened in back porch. Dogs love to come here. Our place has been called, “The country Retreat” for pets. My children love to play with our visitors, and pets love to come back. I know a lot about animals. This is the perfect place for your pets to come play and have a wonderful time while your on vacation or attending to important business.

Elaine F.
“Elaine was incredible with my two dogs. She really seemed to love taking care of them. My dogs are typically shy/standoffish around strangers but warmed up to Elaine quickly.”

Kraig L.

“We have been using Craig for over a year and our dog is in love with going over. She even knows his name and always enjoys herself. He is the most accommodating, flexible, and easy to work with. Big ups to Craig”

Brenda M.
“I am writing to provide my highest recommendation for Ms. Brenda as a pet sitter. Brenda has been a trusted, consistent, and loving caregiver to my two dogs, Gia and Bleu, and I can say with full confidence that she would make an outstanding addition to the Rover community. Brenda has been caring for Gia since she was just 4 months old, Gia is now 5. Bleu, Gia’s son, is now 1 and has also been under Brenda’s loving care since he was a puppy. Whether it’s feeding time, walk time, or playtime, Brenda is always punctual, engaged, and completely dependable. Her attention to detail and natural instinct with animals have made all the difference in the care of my dogs. As someone working in the aviation industry, my job demands frequent and often unpredictable travel. Brenda has consistently been available to step in and care for my pets, offering both in home and out of home support. Her flexibility and reliability have been invaluable to me and bring peace of mind during my time away. Brenda’s charismatic, warm, and nurturing personality makes her more than just a dog sitter, she’s family. Her loving, grandmother, like nature has made her a favorite not only with my dogs but with the pets of friends and family to whom I’ve recommended her. She’s also provided care for cats and dogs alike, and every pet she watches receives the same level of affection and attention. I have known Brenda since December 2018, and in that time, she has become an essential part of my life and the lives of my fur-babies. Gia and Bleu absolutely adore her, and I know your clients' pets will too. Brenda is a perfect candidate for Rover, and I strongly encourage you to consider her for your platform.”

Aimee M.
“I love Aimee, and so do my dogs! I swear I think they want me to leave just so she can come over and play. The first thing I noticed was how she approached each dog differently the first time they met her. Timid Bear (the biggest one) got an outstretched hand and a friendly voice, leaving it his choice. Stately, subdued Honey got ear scritches and belly rubs with copious reminders of what a beautiful girl she is. Exhuberant Poppy got a rowdy push and pull with the toy she brought over. It was just wonderful, and let me know that all my babies were in good hands. When we're away, she often sends me pictures and videos of the dogs - often the ones of Poppy are selfies with Aimee just out of frame because Poppy is sitting on her shoulder. We come home to calm, well-cared for dogs, and we leave home without worries. I can NOT recommend her strongly enough!”

Hannah & Patrick D.

Milika C.

“Milika was very flexible with my pups needs which is much appreciated and they were well taken care of.”

Amber D.
“Amber is absolutely amazing! She takes amazing care of her own pup, and I would trust her with mine without any hesitation (and that says something!) She’s patient and kind and will treat any dog in her care like they’re her own. You won’t regret letting Amber watch your fur baby!”

Michael C.

“Great dog caretaker. Atwater had fun and he was well taken care of. We will be rebooking with Mike.”

Melissa & Andrew B.
“Melissa has fostered 6 puppies and taken great care of those dogs until they found their forever home. She cares for each dog like they are her own and makes sure they get the attention needed.”

Dawn B.Star Sitter

“Dawn was wonderful! She was very welcoming, communicative and sweet with my 4 month old puppy. She sent updates and pictures and I knew he was in good hands the moment I dropped him off. I look forward to him visiting again.”

Heather M.
“After working with Heather in the animal field I already knew she was wonderful with animals, so when I went on vacation and needed an in-home pet sitter for my 4 senior pets she seemed like the perfect choice. I was not disappointed! Heather sent me daily updates and cute pics to assure me that my animals were doing well. All 4 pets quickly warmed up to her and it was clear she showed them plenty of love in our absence. Heather even went above and beyond by leaving my house spotless. I can't say enough great things, highly recommend!”

Jada B.
“Jada was fantastic! She was so sweet and patient with my cat. I received many videos and photos of Maggie which made me more relax during my time away. I would definitely recommend and will go again with her on my next trip!”

Jessica J.

Thank you Jessica!”

Lori H.
“I have known Lori for several decades. I first met her when taking my pets to Quail Corners Animal Hospital upon moving to Raleigh. Lori relates to all of our fuzzies and furry babies immediately. She seems to know the personalities, idiosyncrasies, and moods of each one. Lori has cared for our doggies both in our home and hers and they have always been excited to see her and go with her. I never question Lori's assessment of any animal's health when we are gone and she's in charge. When I explain specialized feeding or handling to her she understands quickly and does not try to second guess me or the instructions. I tried a different sitter once and I'll never do that again. Some of my babies have had serious medical issues and her care and attention to their needs has been outstanding. I encourage anyone to see if Lori is as good a fit for pet care as she is for us.”
