“I sang my praises of Katie last week as she has watched my dog- 2 weekends in a row. And this was another very successful time! She is great with my dog and even made treats for him!”

“Robert did such a good job sitting for my dog Ozzie at my condo. He was very attentive to detail, asked good questions, sent me lots of photos and seemed to really enjoy spending time with Ozzie. Made my trip worry-free!”

“Samantha is a very good worker. She is very responsable and she is always on time. She took care of Rokko very well and Rokko was very happy since the first moment. We appreciated her work very much.”

“Jordyn is so sweet with our dog Tina! We feel lucky to have found her. She’s super patient with our shy pup and always takes great care of the house while we are gone - going the extra mile like putting away dishes or shoveling the driveway, which I never expect. She’s trustworthy, communicative, and friendly. You should book her!”

“Lizzie is AMAZING! She took fantastic care of Baker and understood all of his quirks. She loved on him like he was her own pup. We highly recommend her and will rebook. :)”

“Scott was our first introduction to Rover. We really appreciated that he could come on short notice to sit with our 22-week old puppy. We loved Scott's relaxed and gentle way with our dog who is so excited to meet someone new, but is still in manners training in how to greet people. Scott quickly picked up on what we were trying to teach and went along with that routine. Scott arrived on the dot of our agreed time and we plan to ask him to come again!”

“It was so nice to know we had a reliable, kind and experienced pet sitter! Amy took care of our two dogs, cat, and gecko and sent great pictures during her stay. We were lucky to have her!”

“Katy is so wonderful that I have to leave a second review. We’ve been going through a big transition and Katy continues to meet each of my boys where they are at. Her hyper awareness, consideration, and kindness allow me to travel and not stress about any of the boys.”

About: I have owned 4 dogs in the past 30 years; a Chihuahua/Toy Terrier, a Chihuahua/Shitzu, a Dachshund/Corgi and I currently own a Toy Poodle - who elderly, anxious, blind and toothless. She is my world! My past dog sitting experience includes overnight care for; a Keeshond, a Terrier, a medium sized mixed breed, a Japanese Chin/Poodle, a Standard Poodle, a Sheltie, and a Pomeranian. Dogs are my special interest and I enjoy loving and caring for them. My 30 years of experience with different dog breeds and temperaments has shaped my ability to have realistic expectations, intentional patience and flexibility with the individual dog personalities that I have encountered. They are all good dogs and I love them all! I am available most days and evenings. I can make home visits to let your dog/s out, walk your dog/s, and/or pet sit overnight as needed. I am flexible with how I can care for your pet. My intention is to keep your dog/s in the routine that they are familiar with so that they can be the calm, happy dog/s they are destined to be. Unfortunately, I am unavailable to have your dog/s in my home because I live in an apartment.
“Kaitlyn was fantastic! She watched our little Sadie while we got away for a weekend to celebrate our anniversary. She kept us updated with pictures the whole time and we were 100% confident our pup was happy and safe. We will definitely be booking again!”

About: I have been working/volenteering in doggy daycares, animal rescues, and dog sitting for the better part of 10 years - caring for animals remains my purpose in life. I have done Trap-Neuter-Release work in Miami, Feral Kitten Rehabilitation in Sauk, several different doggy daycares, and most recently a semester of veterinary technician classes at MATC. I am a college student as well as the primary home caretaker for my household. While I may be enrolled in paramedical classes and cannot be accessed 24/7, I do still have the time and energy to make some extra money and a few furry friends on breaks, holidays, and after classes. I cannot promise to always have the energy to take on an evening run - but I can promise to be able to throw a ball around in a yard or supervise them at a park for a while! I cannot board animals at my home due to my own pets and a landlord animal limit; however I am fully capable of adapting to the needs of animals within their own homes or on outings. I am fear free certified.
About: Hello Rover Community! I have been around dogs and cats since my early childhood and have an innate sense of care towards animals. I love spending my time adventuring, training and loving up on any dog or cat. I have done multiple house sitting jobs taking care of larger, high energy dog breeds like Australian Shepards and hold years experience in puppy training, senior dog care, and all things cat care. I've spent multiple hours at the Dane County Humane Society taking dogs out for day time adventures and taking care of cats using my feline training certification. Additionally, I took a sociology class about companion animals during the last year of my undergrad where I learned more about animal behaviors, and the best tools for creating a safe, nurturing environment for your pets to thrive with you and other animals I am currently working part-time so I have a lot of flexibility to work with your schedule and ensure plenty of time to care for your furry friend on both weekdays and weekends! When caring for pets in their own home, I prioritize keeping their routine, environment, and comfort as consistent as possible. I always carefully follow instructions laid out by the owners, maintaining their feedings schedules, walking routine, household rules and any needed medication. Safety is my top priority, especially when caring for someone else's pet. I will never leave a pet unattended outside, ensure doors, gates and windows are secure at all times and will always keep a dog on a leash unless otherwise instructed. Growing up with dogs and cats, and my hands-on experience volunteering at an animal shelter has taught me how to read body languages, handle nervous or energetic pets and adjust care to each animals individual needs. Whether just a drop in or house sitting, I treat every clients home with respect and care, keeping spaces clean and ensuring pets have a calm and enriching environment. Also, I will always provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident and connected while your pet is in my care.
“Sylvia did an amazing job! Everything went smoothly and she was flexible with care given the extremely cold weather. We highly recommend and will definitely be a repeat customer.”

“Josh was great! He was responsive to our needs. Athena was very at ease with him and he took her on a couple of runs. We will definitely use Josh the next time we leave town!”

Jordyn is so sweet with our dog Tina! We feel lucky to have found her. She’s trustworthy, communicative, and friendly. You should book her!

Karina always shows such care for my pets. My dog and cat both have health issues that require multiple medicines and supplements. She always follows their routine closely, asks questions to make sure she’s providing good care, takes my dog on daily walks, and sends daily pictures. I also come home to a clean house. I will not hesitate to request pet/house sitting from Karina again and I highly recommend her!

Maya is SUCH a sweet girl with infinite patience and love for our senior kitties. She communicated throughout the whole stay, sent dozens of photos, and left our home in perfect condition. Our kitties loved her company and she managed the many mishaps that our cats threw at her with grace. I can't recommend her more! 🐱❤️

My dogs hit it off with Sofi immediately, and that’s always a good sign. We did a meet and greet before the scheduled coverage dates and they immediately took to her. We did a dry run of feeding w/medications and walking, while discussing all the quirks of my fur babies. Nothing seemed too difficult for Sofi and she was up for it all. I received loads of photos while I was away. Not many questions. My place was just the way I left it when I returned.

Clare was responsive, friendly and flexible. She came over to meet the cats ahead of time, and asked good questions about their care. She also watered our numerous indoor plants while we were gone, and even reminded me when I forgot to update the list 💜 Additionally, it snowed while we were gone, and she shoveled our sidewalk. We’d be happy to have her watch our cats again in the future.
