From the moment she walked in, our Mini Bernedoodle Sapphire could not contain her excitement, and greeted her with happy piddle pee, which is rare. Destini did not hesitate to communicate and ask any clarifying questions. She takes pictures that capture the joy of our pets and left our house exactly as we left it. Our cats are not as social, but Destini was able to connect with one and confirm sightings of the other to assure us that they were content and and cared for. About: I have three years of dog-sitting experience, caring for everything from energetic puppies to gentle seniors. As a proud pet parent myself, I believe in showering our babies with all the love and affection their precious lives deserve. I prioritize active, joyful outdoor time, including trips to the park, long walks, and relaxing together on the back porch! I'm correctly working part time and have a fairly flexible schedule. I want to be able to prioritize your pet's needs whether that looks like 1+ hour walks/ enrichment time or special feeding times and instructions. Your pets comfort is my number 1 priority. I love to go on long walks, go to the dog park, or used the fenced in dog space in my neighborhood to allow our babies the time they need to play and get the enrichment that they need. A pet is always welcome to make themselves at home in my space even if that means that I have to adapt certain things to their needs like assistance getting in bed for puppies and elder dogs or making sure that their favorite toys are always available for them to play with.

About: I have experience with many animals, ranging from dogs to horses. I have been responsible for animal care for the last 7 years. I have experience with reactive dogs as well as seniors and puppies. I can handle the energetic pullers, but can also train them to stop pulling. I can train a few basic commands. I also have experience with senior and disabled animals. I am a student and a part-time employee! With no summer classes and short shifts ranging from 4-6 hours, I will have lots of free time this summer! I am very flexible and would love to accommodate your pet's schedule! We both work full-time during the day, but pet care still fits naturally into our routine. Mornings and evenings are structured and calm—ideal for play time in the backyard, feeding, and one-on-one time with your pup. Your dog will get plenty of attention before the day starts, and once we’re home, our evenings are dedicated to winding down with our pets. Weekends are usually spent at home, giving us time for longer playtime and cuddles. With our love for animals and established routines, your dog will feel safe, cared for, and part of our little family. If we visit your home, we will be sure to take care of your animal before and after our work day-as needed. We have a fenced in backyard, two dogs for company (a dog fence in the house if they you’re not comfortable with them mingling), and we will spoil your dog-just like we do ours! Our dogs have prescription food, need special care, and medicine, so those things are not unfamiliar to us!

About: I have grown up with dogs and cats from a young age. Throughout my life, I have had dogs ranging in size from a Yorkie to a Great Pyrenees. I have also had cats of all different temperaments, from shy and particular to loving and outgoing. I have further pet care experience from helping my parents foster many puppies and kittens over the last eight years. I also worked for a vet’s office for three years, cleaning up, feeding the animals, and taking them for walks. I love all pets and I have enough experience to take care of them well! I am a senior at the University of Alabama and I only have one-two classes a day, so that leaves me plenty of time to care for your pets! I can check on them in the morning, late afternoon, or evening! Whenever taking care of your pets, I will make sure all the necessary doors are shut and locked when leaving to avoid escapes. Additionally, I will make sure I follow any other specific instructions perfectly to avoid anything going wrong in your home!

About: Hello! I'm looking forward to spending some of my time caring for your pets while you're away! I am really inspired by Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary and one day I hope to open my own animal sanctuary, but Rover will have to do for now. I've always had at least one dog in my house growing up. Right now I have two dogs as well as cats in my home. I also have a fenced yard to offer supervised play time and potty breaks. I'd be more than happy to drop in and make sure your lil' kitty-kat is well fed, played with, and has a clean litter box OR even host them in my cat room (AKA a quiet bedroom reserved just for cats that my pups do not have access to). Special skills: house training, crate training, medication administration- liquid and capsule, walking multiple (big) dogs at the same time, supervised play and feeding, etc. **Full disclosure: I am not on Rover for this to be my source of income. I keep my rates low because I know how expensive it can be when looking for trusted animal care, especially when you have more than one animal in the home and need to be away for more than a night. Otherwise, I allow the animals in the house to nap, roam, and play wherever they'd like. My dogs are pretty social, they get along well with others and enjoy the dog park. Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
