About: I have grown up with dogs and have a soft spot for them. I have a four year old very high energy, playful but docile GSP. I will walk, watch, feed and create a stimulating environment for them! I work from home and have flexibility during the week to help out. I am also open most weekends for dog sitting or boarding . I will make sure pets are handled with love and care and will treat them as if they were my own. This might mean lots of belly rubs, snuggles and treats. About: We’ve had a family puppy for as long as I can remember! My brother and I do lots of volunteering between nearby shelters and we also do watch other dogs. My aunt has two German Shepards and a pit-bull that I watch quite often so I have experience with bigger dogs as well. I’m currently working a job from 8:30-4:30 PM, W- F. I can watch a dog any day during the week and or overnight as long as they can go that long without potty breaks! If the house is nearby I can go on my lunches to let the pets out :) We currently have an electric fence and colar for our puppy and are very cautious any time letting him out. About: Currently I live with 2 cats, one mine and one my housemates. I love them both dearly and love taking care if them. Cleaning litter boxes is a daily pattern and I am also have administered meds to the cats and to my parents dogs. I grew up with a lot if animals, and have had a lot of experience with dogs and oral medications. My parents dog Mater is also paralyzed and I have often helped with his meds and changing his diaper. All in all I am a huge animal lover and cant wait to take care of your pets. I live with 3 girls and two cats (one is mine). Cleaning the litter, playing with the cats, making sure they do not knock stuff over, and cuddling with them is a daily pattern. I love them both to death. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
