“We were so fortunate to find Jocelyn to care for our four cats while we were away for a week. Jocelyn consistently sent us updates and photos of her interacting and caring for our fur babies which really put our minds at ease. Most importantly we were greeted by four happy and content kitties when we returned. We definitely will utilize Jocelyn’s services in the future!”

“Highly recommend! Nicole was fantastic with my cat. She was kind, punctual, and administered medication perfectly. The cute photo updates and treat time were a wonderful bonus. I'll definitely be using her services again!”

“Rhianna was great! My cats warmed up to her quickly (and they're usually pretty shy), and she sent regular updates and pictures. I was nervous to leave them for a long vacation, but I was comfortable knowing that they were cared for and had some company. I will definitely book with Rhianna again!”

About: I've loved dogs for as long as I can remember! As a teenager, I started volunteering at Misty Pines Dog Park Co., gaining hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds and personalities. Later, I shadowed a professional trainer at Sandy Hill Kennels, where I helped with puppy training classes and learned a lot about dog behavior. When I turned 16, I officially joined the Sandy Hill team as a staff member, caring for dogs of all kinds. Now I'm 23, and have the privilege of working from home. I've always had a dog in my life, and right now, I share my home with two—Tucker, my 11-year-old rough collie who looks just like Lassie, and Ginger, my 6-year-old rescue hound mix who fully embraces the lazy hound stereotype! Since I work from home, I get to spend my days with them, giving them lots of love and attention. I’d be honored to care for your pet and make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away! I work from home during the week (9-5), so I’m always around to give plenty of attention to the pets in my care. Whether it’s potty breaks, playtime, or just some extra belly rubs, they’ll never feel lonely. I’m also free on weekends, so I have plenty of flexibility to fit your pet’s needs. My home has a 4ft high, fenced-in yard, giving dogs plenty of space to play safely. However, I do live near active train tracks, so if your pet is sensitive to train horns, it may be best for me to care for them in your home. The sound is loud when you're standing outside as the trains pass by, but inside, it’s much quieter since our house is brick. My dogs don’t pay any mind to the train horn, though, so if yours are less sensitive, they’ll be just fine! At night, my two dogs sleep in their crates in my office, and I have spare crates if your pup prefers a cozy setup near me. Of course, I’ll always follow whatever sleeping arrangements make them the most comfortable! During the day, my dogs are happy to keep your pup company, and they love having new friends around. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities, whether they’re staying with me or I’m caring for them in your home!

“Gwynn was such a wonderful friend to our l(arge) goldendoodle Sully! She gave him so much special attention, great exercise and engaging play. We (and especillay Sully) couldn't be happier! Also she gave great photos and reports of their time spent together, which brightened our day while at work.”

“Rachel is amazing!!! She’s been pet sitting for us for a little over a year now, and we will definitely continue booking with her in the future. Rachel is reliable, caring, and goes above and beyond for our pets.”

About: I think dogs are good people. My dogs are family members. Our dogs passed away a little more than a year ago so we are dog sitting for family and friends. My granddaughter suggested checking out Rover and applying to dog sit. We had friends from church go on a 3 week trip and watched their golden doodle. Most gentle dog ever. I can use them for reference if needed. I consider dogs a family member. Always watching a dogs body english to make sure they are comfortable and safe. Currently retired. When dog sitting I usually take them outside once an hour. We walk routinely and when dog sitting we bring them with us. We have two walking routes. A one mile walk through our small neighborhood or go to a park close by and walk by a river. Also used to giving dogs their medication when necessary. The last dog we took care of for 3 weeks needed daily arthritis meds. Pet care to me is as natural as breathing. Always checking their water and food. When dog sitting I never let the dog off the leash. My Aussie, when he was alive, was trained to not leave the yard so a leash was not necessary. But with family dogs and friends dogs I always put a leash on. Our home is dog safe. We do not use pesticides or other harmful chemicals. Even during winter I use pet friendly ice melters for the sidewalk when necessary. As far as trust I have 40 plus years experience with dogs and friends and family trust their dogs with me. Each dog that was with me always selected their own safe spot. We kept a healthy routine of exercise and rest. I watch the dog’s body English for hints of needing rest or exercise. During the day and evening it is not uncommon for me to take them outside every hour. We use water from our water filter. If I will not drink water from the faucet then I believe nether should my dog. My dogs have their own bed. When my Aussie was alive he preferred to nap under a big plant in the living room. Our house is air conditioned for a safe relaxing atmosphere. Dogs cannot get to the trash can. No treats there.

About: I have always loved animals since I was a kid. Once I was 12 I started bathing and grooming dogs, which then lead me to watch animals overnight. The longest I have taken care of pets was a two week long period. I am very responsible, timely, and have a dog of my own. I have experience with dogs of all ages and sizes, and even some training experience as well. I am currently a part time worker, and full time college student with mostly online classes. I am available to do mostly everyday of the week as long as I am known in advance. I believe animals will treat us just as we treat them or better. My dog is my best friend (we even have matching pjs). I understand the deep love people have for their pets and I respect and plan to love and care for their pets just as much. I am gentle, patient, and understand animal language very well.

“Brook-lynn is great to Max. He's always so excited after a stop in visit with her. She communicates well and always sends me photos. I'd high recommend letting her take care of your fur baby!”

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was a child. I have experience bathing, walking and grooming. I would take care of your animal like they were my own. I work full time. I could let out pets before work, on lunch and after work. Stay at my house during the day and I also could do overnights on Fridays. I have 2 small dogs (Yorkie and Chichi) I also have a crate available if you prefer this for when I am not home during the day. I do have an older child who would be home in the afternoon so your dog wouldn't be crated all day.

About: With a deep passion for animals and a commitment to personalized care, I offer a pet-sitting experience that goes beyond the basics. I take the time to understand each pet’s unique personality, needs, and routine, ensuring they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you're away. Whether it's extra playtime, long walks, or specialized care for pets with medical needs, I provide tailored attention that sets me apart. Your pet’s happiness and well-being are my top priority! I have a full time job, but can offer reliable, personalized care after 3 PM on weekdays, as well as full availability on weekends and holidays. Whether it’s daily visits, extended stays, or overnight care, I’m here to make sure your pets feel safe, happy, and well-loved in your absence. My flexible schedule ensures your pets get the attention they need. When caring for pets, I prioritize maintaining their usual routines to ensure a comfortable and stress-free environment. I take the time to understand their feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any specific preferences, providing consistent care that mirrors what they’re used to. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or simply companionship, I ensure they’re happy and well-attended. I also take care to keep your home tidy and secure, respecting your space while giving your pet the attention and love they need. My goal is to make your absence as seamless as possible for both your pet and your home.

“All went smoothly. We didn't worry about the dogs and it was so nice that they got to stay home instead of going to the kennel. Happy with the service.”

Vickie M.

“Vickie was amazing! She updates me after every visit and also shared some pictures she took with the pets. Would highly recommend having Vickie pet sit your pets!”

Kathleen S.
“Kathleen has been a regular watcher of my dogs - She is the most dog loving person I know, and she also loves cats, although being slightly allergic. She still loves all animals and is willing to give everything for the animals she loves. She is a phenomenal dog trainer (intermediate) as she worked at a kennel and learned animal language, and how best to react to animals. All in all, I personally wouldn't want anyone else watching my Doggos. She is the way to go!”

Micah N.

“Another great week with Micah, watching and walking 2 very different dogs! A goldendoodle is big and gentle and a little wire fox terrier who has one spead, go.”

Ashley W.

“My cat loved Ashley! She seems way more relaxed and not upset when we came home from our trip. Definitely booking again.”

“Denny and his wife Bonnie are some of the most caring and loving people you will ever meet—both to animals and people! When we decided to take a three-week trip out West this summer, we knew we couldn’t take our aging goldendoodle Olive with us because she cannot handle long car rides or getting in-and-out of our vehicle. We didn’t want to leave Olive at a kennel for three weeks where she would receive very little attention. Denny and Bonnie offered the chance for her to be loved and cared for in their own home. Although at first I was concerned that the separation would be hard on our dog, I shouldn’t have worried because Denny and Bonnie showered Olive with love and attention. We received daily updates on how Olive was doing in addition to photos of her on walks or getting belly rubs. They also made sure Olive took her medication daily, and when her food ran low, they even took care of getting her more. If you are looking for a pet sitter that you can confidently entrust your pet to, look no further than Denny and Bonnie. Your dog will thank you!”
