“We just moved to Davenport. Taelor is a blessing. She takes great care of Remington. He’s a big dog who’s getting up there in age. She keeps me posted if he’s limping or overly hot, she makes sure he has fresh water and treats. It is is very obvious that she loves dogs and what she does. She brings in packages when they’re delivered during the day, which is a huge help. I highly recommend her.”

About: I have 32 years of pet experience. I am owned by two cats, one of whom is special needs. I’ve cared for puppies, kittens, and senior cats and dogs. I have experience administering oral, injectable, and topical medication. I work full-time 8,5 hours Sunday and 10 hours M-W. I do have the option of taking long lunches and can do drop-ins before and after work and during lunch. I am most available Th-Sat. Those days work best for walks, pet sitting, or drop-ins. I always follow instructions on caring for others’ pets to the letter. Times for feeding and medications, whether or not other dogs or people are allowed to s hello on walks, daily litter box cleaning, etc. Respecting the pet parent’s wishes is very important to me. When pet sitting I am as unobtrusive as possible, cleaning up after myself, and do my best to leave the house exactly as I found it.

15. Emilia J.
About: My family has had dogs my entire life, and I have always loved animals. As a child I was responsible for feeding and watering our dogs as well as giving potty breaks and as I grew older I got my own dog, a blue heeler named Mars, who has taught me a lot about training as well. I can do any size of dog, or really any animal. I've lived on a chicken farm with chickens and geese and peacocks as well as caring for a parakeet. I love cats and have done a lot of research on them to hopefully get one in the future. I've even worked with horses, and I'm very open to learning new things! I start school in the fall, but as of right now my weekdays are wide open! I prefer to keep my weekends off, but I can make exceptions if necessary. If I end up getting a job this might change, but I will keep this updated :) I'm good about reading body language and can often tell what your pet needs/wants. I can play with them, feed/water them, and even bathe them! I've cleaned both large and small dogs, so I'm not afraid to get messy! I can do walks as well, I just need some information on what gets your pet riled so that I can make necessary adjustments.
16. Megan L.
“Megan is our go to dog sitter. She is was absolutely amazing with our coonhound. Our dog Dixie can be a bit difficult at times and Megan was able to care for without any issues. Dixie loved seeing Megan and Megan quickly became one of her favorite people. Every time Dixie would see Megan she would get so excited. It made me feel better as a dog mom leaving our dog with Megan knowing she will be well cared for.”
17. Ramsay P.
“Ramsay would make an excellent dog sitter. We have worked together at a local animal hospital for the past 9 years. She is a certified technician which means any pet in her care would be well cared for and loved dearly. Highly recommend her!”
18. Kathleen M.
“Kathleen has watched my 2 dogs several times in the past. Taking them walks, feeding, playtime, snuggles. She very pet friendly and they always love having Kathleen around. With her being retired, it makes for a flexible schedule for in home visits, or having them stay overnight. The dogs will receive full attention.”

About: Animals have been a part of the foundation of my life since I was born; I've never been without a furry companion of some shape or size. While dogs are my specialty (seniors to puppies), I've done many cats sitting for neighbors and family. So whether it's walking, runs (I was a track runner for 12 yrs), games of fetch, belly rubs, baths, or serving dinner to your furry companions, I'm your girl. My schedule is WIDE open for any fun or leisure your family member (dog or cat) needs. I’m available Monday through Friday and weekends leaving me open for all kinds of fun activities! I’m located in the outskirts of Davenport in the suburbs with close access to spacious parks(Scott county and West Lakes) and many riverfront walking or running paths. I'm also comfortable with going to your home if that is what your dog or cat is only comfortable with and will feel safe at because it is your pet's safety and care I prioritize above all. I can also visit the home beforehand so you can ensure there are no gaps in knowledge of how your pet must be cared for.
20. Eric K.
About: I have had family pets my whole life and currently have three dogs and two cats in my home. On top of caring for my household pets, my wife and I also foster dogs through local rescues until they are adopted into their new furever homes. I have experience with regular feeding, administering meds, and regular grooming. I am a teacher with afternoon flexibility starting at 3:10 with some lunchtime availability. I love walking and it is only better with a companion to join. My home has a nice, clean fenced in back yard for your furbaby to enjoy. I do have two friendly pitbulls and one shihtzu in home that love to play with others. I can easily crate them if it becomes to over whelming.
