He took wonderful care of our fur babies. He gave us updates. He sent us some wonderful pictures and a video of Lucy playing. He asked good questions. I was able to leave town for the first time in a while and enjoy myself knowing someone was going to be there. He did the expected chores morning and evening. He kept the house in great order. About: What sets me apart from others? I managed a humane society and owned a dog transportation business. I have 2 girl dogs that are 11 and 3 yrs. I have always had dogs and pets. I’ve sat for friends and family a lot. I put my dogs through training so I know basic commands and how to interact with dogs well. Also I can handle dogs in unexpected situations in a safe and careful manner. I think caring for dogs is fun and relaxing. I started taking care of dogs when I was 3 and have almost always had one or more dogs. My dogs love other dogs. I will walk, play fetch, and jog with dogs. I love meeting all kinds of animals and dogs and have no problem cleaning up after them and following any type of schedule they might be on. We live in a great area for walking dogs. I have 10 years of professional dog walking and pet sitting experience. I have taken care of pets with many different needs. I had my own dog transporting business for a year but I got tired of being on the road. I managed at a humane society for 2 years as well. I’m currently working part time so I have plenty of time to play with pets. I have a flexible schedule. I usually have 3 days off a week and have lunch breaks on the days that I do work. I have 2 playful, friendly pups. I also have lived with cats most of my life. I understand the dynamic of a multi pet household.
About: I have had dogs and loved them my entire life. I grew up with Rottweilers and St Benards so the big ones definitely have my heart. I currently have two Border Collie X Australian Shepherd mixes that are incredibly friendly and smart. I started my pet professional career out in 2012 as a kennel technician at the Clinton Humane Society. I have worked for two different vet clinics as a vet technician giving medications, doing ivs, doing wound care, and being apart of surgery staff. I do some special handling dog training for anxious and semi aggressive dogs. My passion for special handling dogs started when I trained as a pet stylist. I got hands on experience helping stressed dogs relax and make situations better for them. I currently work in the Quad Cities as a pet stylist, working with both dogs and cats. I am very familiar and comfortable working with all kinds of animals be it furry, scaley or feathery. I do animal care for individual animals and also for hobby farms with chickens, ducks, goats, llamas and sheep. I am a very particular person when it comes to my own animals' care. Being very detailed oriented and handling your pets care is important to me. I think they deserve their care to be attentive and comfortable. Animals are not only something I am very passionate about but what I have revolved my life around. My days start around 5-5:30am. I typically take the dogs for a walk and have an hour to give them a bathroom break. I work as a pet stylist from 7-3:30. I can give bathroom breaks on my lunch break as needed. I keep all dogs leashed when outside to guarantee their safety. I have a fenced in back/side yard where I monitor dogs so they can be off leash if they are able to be trusted. I never leave pets unattended. I can kennel dogs to keep separate if needed. I am also trained in animal first aid. I deep clean and sanitize everything frequently.
About: I’ve had dogs in my life since I can remember I have always enjoyed taking care of them and making sure they are living their best life. I have three dogs of my own including a labradoodle and two french bulldogs. I consistently watch all the dogs in my neighborhood and watch my friends cats as well. I also have a lot of experience with puppies due to my family being guide dog raisers for a long period of time. Along with puppies I am also good with senior dogs due to my family choosing to foster a lot of senior dogs. I also have experience and love all sizes and kinds of dogs. I go to school at St. Ambrose University and during the spring semester I have a very flexible schedule so I have plenty of time to care for your pet! I am available for housesitting pretty much any day and always available for drop ins or walks. I am always open for last minute bookings! Whenever I am watching a neighbors dog while staying in their house I make sure I am constantly spending time with them and getting their energy out, whether it is playing fetch, taking them on a walk, or even just cuddling on the couch with them. I always make sure they consistently get out to use the restroom. I love spending my time with your cute doggos and making sure they are happy as can be while your away!
About: I’ve had cats and dogs in my household since I was a child, but my experience caring for cats truly expanded in 2020 when I began fostering kittens of various ages. In 2021, I took my passion further by working as a veterinary assistant, gaining hands-on experience with medical care and daily cat and dog needs. Most recently, in 2024, I worked as a kennel technician at a local animal shelter while on break from college, where I cared for cats and dogs of all personalities and health backgrounds. I am trained in administering medications, handling pets of all ages and temperaments, and ensuring they feel safe and comfortable. I would love the opportunity to bring this experience and care to your furry companions. I’m a college student who is free most afternoons, and, am available for drop ins most days except for Tuesdays, if you're interested in a time, please send me a message and I will respond as quickly as I can, my schedule is fairly flexible! I personalize care for each pet in my care depending on their needs and requirements for me. I am happy to go slow, or jump right in depending on what they need and what their body language is telling me. I also abide by owner requests and requirements such as medication for each pet.
