About: Hello, I’m Kandis, a lifelong Steubenville local with a deep love for animals. Growing up with dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, birds, reptiles, fish, and even farm animals, I’ve gained hands-on experience with pets of all shapes, sizes, and life stages, from playful puppies and the ‘terrible twos’ to senior companions who need gentle care. I love how pets enrich our lives. Whether it’s daily dog walks, drop-in visits, house sitting, or medication reminders, I treat every pet like my own, with the patience and affection they deserve. I’m currently building my dedicated pet sitting and dog walking business in the Steubenville area. My schedule is highly flexible and open most days and times—aside from Saturday and Sunday morning Mass. I’m happy to work around your needs for walks, drop-ins, house sitting, or whatever your pets require. Just let me know your schedule! I deeply respect your home and privacy and will follow all instructions for your pets and property without issue. Whether caring for your pets in your home or welcoming them into mine, their safety and comfort come first. My home features a fenced backyard, separate levels for quiet time if needed, and kennels for flexible arrangements. I have two friendly dogs of my own (a Bernedoodle and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel) who love making new friends and providing companionship during stays. I prepare healthy homemade treats like dehydrated fruit and jerky, and I’m experienced managing picky eaters and sensitive stomachs.

About: I am a graduate of Penn State University, with a major in Art. Throughout my life, I've lived with and cared for a variety of animals. I have experience with dogs, cats, fish, birds, bunnies, rats, horses, chickens, goats, sheep, and even cows! Each animal varying in my experience, but all loved and cared for to the best of my ability. I do not currently own a car and will not be able to house your pet, but I will walk to your home and do my best to care for them there. My goal is to give your pet, or as I would say, family member, the love and attention they need and deserve while you're away, whether that be a quick walk and feed or a fun sleepover! Either way, I thank you for your time and consideration and I hope to care for your family in the near future! About: I have worked in the animal science field all of my undergraduate career and recently graduated with my bachelors of science in animal science. I have always enjoyed animals and was a veterinarian assistant as well. I have training in senior dog care, puppy training and needs, and feline care from job and school experience. I believe that every animal requires a different type of care. My personal dog Eevee is a french bulldog mix who is a drama queen and has a herniated spinal cord so she needs a different level of care. I have a flexible schedule! I have a part time job along with Rover and can switch shifts around based on your pet care needs. Pet care depends on the pet. Every animal is different, which is why I love animal care. I do not mind adhering to specific feeding patterns, special potty breaks and even the puppy and senior stage in your pets life!

Knowledge of medications and how to administer. I work from home and my hours are flexible, am able to provide pet care that is round the clock, Monday through Friday and on weekends. For drop ins on weekdays, I can come in the morning or later evening. Large yard, locks on all doors and windows. Would keep animals separate from my own animals if at my house. Never leave animals unsupervised in the home

I do not have a fenced in yard but am open to taking to parks or whatnot. I do also have a gated front porch. Requests of pictures and/or videos are welcome. Pets would also have free roam of the whole house as well.

Kristen responded to my request immediately and was willing to drive 30 minutes after work to take care of Bogey. The visit was flawless, she followed directions perfectly, and we returned to a happy dog. His bully looks were no issue for her either. I also appreciated the pics she sent.
