As a speech-language pathologist, communication is a big part of my professional life, and I bring that same attentiveness to the animals in my care. I believe good pet care means respecting boundaries, recognizing needs, and responding appropriately to what an animal is communicating. I also love sending photos and updates, because I know how reassuring it is to see your pet happy and comfortable while you’re away. I'm not a certified trainer, but I've spent years learning dog training, body language, and enrichment, and every interaction is rooted in positive reinforcement. I will require a meet and greet with your pet in advance of the first booking so they can become familiar with me, and so I can become familiar with their routine and needs. My schedule gives me plenty of flexibility to be present for your dog, whether that's extra walks, playtime, or just being around for company, and I'm happy to talk through what kind of availability works best for your pet! I work from home which allows me the flexibility to prioritize pet care in a way I wouldn’t be able to with a traditional office. This gives me the ability to keep anxious dogs company, breaks for play time, medication, cuddles or walks when they are needed, not when they can be fit in. I create a calm, secure environment where pets feel safe and comfortable. Whether in my home or theirs, I work on building trust by moving at each pet’s pace and honoring their boundaries. Safety is always my top priority, I supervise pets closely, follow all instructions carefully, and adapt to their unique needs. I keep spaces clean, hazard-free, and ensure pets have fresh water, proper food, and quiet resting spots. For reactive or anxious pets, I use gentle, low stress handling & positive reinforcement or redirecting to help them feel calm and supported. Every care plan is tailored specifically to your pet’s needs after we discuss what works best for them.
About: I’ve had animals since birth. Large and small dogs, many, many cats, and even a few caged animals. I cared for my last dog for 16 years and have experience with senior care because of him, including medication and mobility help and he was 100lbs+. I love animals of all kinds, I’ve worked for a stable where we took care of 30+ horses per day, and as you can see from my photos I gravitate towards all sorts of animals even goats, alligators, and llamas! I work part time but have weird hours so I can also help with weird hours. I have 3 days off every week and have open availability on those days, the other days I’m available before or after work. I’m not available for care in my own home. However when I am in your home I will treat it even better then I do my own. About: I’ve grown up with dogs, cats, and rats. I started pet sitting for family and friends at 15. Since 2024, I’ve been employed by a dog daycare and boarding business in Robinson Township.
