About: I am the proud grandchild of a certified crazy pet lady. My grandmother had five cats and two dogs for most of my childhood, so I am well-versed in the patience and love it takes to care for your pets. I work part-time and am a full time student, but I have lots of availability on the weekends and during holidays to care for your pets. I also find myself out and about in the city all the time, so I’d love the opportunity to care for your pets while exploring new neighborhoods. I know that your space is your own (and your pet’s, of course) and I will be sure to treat it with the care and respect that I would my own.

About: I have taken care of my families dogs and cat ever since I was 13. I have plenty of experience feeding, walking, and bathing pets! I am currently a student and work a part time job, so I am mainly available early in the morning or later in the evening. I have more availability on weekends! I currently live on an on campus apartment, but have plenty of outdoor space to take pets out. I can crate your pet if that's your preference and will give your pet plenty of love!

About: I have always loved animals and been around them most of my life. I have taken a basic training course for dogs and previously owned them and currently own cats. I am well versed in giving oral medication to both dogs and cats. I love talking puppies of any age for a walk, long or short and know how to work on leash training. I've worked with senior dogs and know how to give meds. I would love to look after your sweet pet(s) when you are unable to. I work from home so I am able to work around your schedule to take care of your loved ones. I can do short distance travel as needed. I will follow all the clients directions on how they would like their pet cared for in their home. I am available for check-ins for any sort of animal you may have and dog walks. I love to spend time cuddling or giving scratches, playing fetch or chase, or just spending time so your fur baby isn't lonely.

About: I’ve had pets my whole life. With my childhood dog I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing the wildness of new pups as well as the medication/diapers/aftercare needed when they grow old. I’m a little newer to cats, but both of my mine have been raised from kittens. My oldest will be turning 3 this year! I will be taking classes and working part time in the afternoons. I think my schedule works well for Rover because I am free in the mornings (until 12:30pm), I can check in from 3-4 if needed, then I am free anytime after 5:30! My two cats are escape artists, so I have gotten pretty good at hiding the opening in the door when I enter a room! For me personally, this is always my biggest concern when having people watch over my animals, so I want you to know that I’m very spatially aware when it comes to animals.

About: I have over 7 years of hands-on experience working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities—from small breed seniors to high-energy breeds. Jinger (My own pup) is a 6-year-old Female Malinois-Lab mix, so I’m especially familiar with energetic dogs who need structure, attention, and enrichment to thrive.  Over the years, I’ve cared for puppies, seniors, rescues, and dogs with unique needs—including leash reactivity, anxiety, and medical routines. The wonderful folks at Southside pet shop had taught me Animal Husbandry by the book (literally). During my time there I had taken care of a wide variety of pets in a professional setting. I comfortable caring cats, and exotic pets too- I am more than at home in a multi-pet household.  I ALWAYS approach every pet with patience and empathy. I understand that every animal is different, so I change my care-style (never quality!) to match their needs—whether that’s a long walk, playtime, cuddles or medical needs.  If you need drop-in visits, house sitting, or just someone to give your dog an afternoon potty break, I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, understood, and loved. You can expect daily updates and plenty of photos, Rest assured! Pet sitting is my full-time profession and passion, alongside my work as a freelance artist. I have professional experience in animal husbandry; I’m able to provide attentive, reliable care. I enjoy doing both traditional and digital art; my favorite are pet portraits! If there is downtime while I am petsitting, I’m usually doing art! In both my own home and when caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow the owners instructions, because I understand this routine is in place to keep them comfortable, and healthy. This includes using toys, treats and games to make their day rewarding and fun. Maintaining a clean environment is a top priority; food and water bowls are washed regularly and I always make sure each pet is fed according to their specified guidelines.

About: I am currently a University student working part time at a vet clinic here in Louisville. I have a pet bunny who lives with me here, and back home my family has 3 dogs and 2 cats - all of our pets being rescues. I love working with animals of all shapes and sizes. Last summer I worked at a pet resort caring for dogs and cats of all kinds. At both this previous job and my current, I work closely with senior dogs to provide special and comfortable care. I have worked with dogs with dementia, arthritis, and varying diseases and disorders. I work well with aggressive and fearful pets, too. I have lots of experience with high energy puppies as well! I am currently taking classes through June and working a part-time job at a vet clinic. My classes start at 9 am, but I tend to be awake as early as 5:30 am and would love to take your pet on an early morning walk. Since the clinic closes at 6 pm, I am free in the evenings as well to walk, feed, and play with your pets, whatever the need may be! Going into July, I will be working more hours but will have more availability during the day, especially on Mondays. Each pet has their own unique needs, and I am willing to adapt to meet those needs. Whether your pet is a senior who needs shorter, slower, yet more frequent walks throughout the day, has health needs, or is a bouncy, playful puppy, I am willing to meet these needs, as each pet is different. My goal is to incorporate extra love into my care for your pet(s) so they feel fulfilled and happy at the end of the day. Animals are my passion, and caring for them makes me feel complete!
