About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was ten years old! Between looking after my own dog and my family's, I have the experience and love to make sure your furry friend gets the attention they deserve! I'm a middle school teacher in the Louisville area, so weekends are the best for house sitting and longer watching periods! During the weekday afternoons, I would love to help check in, play with your pup, or give them a nice long walk! Communication is the most important thing. I will always follow the wishes of the owner to make sure your pets are cared for in the most consistent way possible. Your boundaries are mine, and I always act in the best interest of you and your pets!

About: I've been surrounded by critters since I was a little girl - from fish to foster puppies, reptiles, rats, bunnies, dogs, cats, and everything in between. Basically, you name it, I've hugged it. In the past year, I've started dog sitting regularly for several families in my hometown of Louisville, as well as in South Hadley, where I go to school. I love spending time with animals and look forward to getting to know yours! I'm a student in Richmond for the summer with a flexible schedule - I have plenty of free time all day, every day, and would love to spend my free time with your critters! I know all pets have unique needs, and am always willing to adhere to what you feel is best - whether that means six walks a day, regular litter box cleanings, or three-hour playtimes. I will always leave your house clean and make sure that your pet has all of their needs (and more) taken care of.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have been pet sitting dogs and cats since my early teens. I have experience caring for pets of all ages and medical needs, including diabetic dogs requiring insulin injections, blind dogs, pets with seizures, and dogs with mobility and potty issues. I’m comfortable administering medications and providing extra patience and attention to senior pets or those needing specialized care. I’ve also fostered dogs and cats through my local shelter, caring for everything from puppies and kittens learning the ropes to senior dogs needing diapers and additional support. My experience fostering has helped me become adaptable, calm, and attentive to each pet’s unique personality and needs. I currently have two dogs of my own, Murphy and Lucky, they are my whole heart and I love every pet I care as if they were part of my family. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I work overnight shifts from 9pm–5am, Monday-Friday, which gives me a flexible daytime schedule. I’m able to adjust my sleep schedule as needed, so I have plenty of availability for walks, drop-ins, feeding schedules, medication administration, playtime, and overnight care. In my home, I do my best to create a safe and comfortable environment where pets can feel relaxed, cared for, and entertained. I have a fully fenced-in yard that backs up to a park, which gives dogs plenty of space for supervised outdoor time, play, and exercise. I also have a separate guest room available if an owner prefers their pet to have their own quiet space during their stay with us. I understand that every pet has different routines and comfort levels, so I try to keep their schedule as consistent as possible with feeding times, potty breaks, walks, medications, playtime, and rest. I’m happy to accommodate senior pets, puppies, and pets with medical or mobility needs. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure they feel comfortable in their familiar environment while keeping up with their normal routine and giving them plenty of attention, affection, and companionship. I always treat both pets and homes with respect and care, and I know how important communication and reliability are while you’re away from your pets. I love to send parent’s updates on their babies and we can work out details on how frequently you would like pictures sent!

About: I have years of experience taking care of both dogs and cats, and with housesitting as well. I am able to help support animals who have health concerns, special needs, and anxiety. I can administer medication and give shots as well. I have a senior kitty and an adult age cat myself, so plenty of experience with senior care. And I have experience with dogs of all ages, including puppies and seniors. I am happy to work with any owner to accommodate their pets needs and make them feel comfortable while they are away. I am have nearly full availability the next couple of months, so please reach out and I should be able to accommodate any time frame. I will abide by all house and property rules for the animals safety which includes leashes, fences, walking paths. I am happy to work with owners on what they are most comfortable with. I do not bring pets inside my home as my cats are usually not friendly to that! But I am always happy to stay at others homes.

About: I have an excellent, warm, and inviting home in which I would happily watch your dog while you travel. I'm a writer and vo artist who mostly works from home, so your dog won't be lonely; that's for sure. In addition, I take an hour long walk in Audubon Park every single day, so if your dog is up to it, he/she will get plenty of healthy exercise. And for those that aren't able to make the big walk, we do smaller little walks in the neighborhood plenty of times per day. About: I have been an animal lover, animal rescuer and pet care taker all my life. I have walked dogs, and cared for cats since I was a child. I currently have a special needs cat, plus two others high needs(spoiled) kitties. I have a good deal of experience medicating and caring for cats and dogs. I walk my parents’ dog for them daily. I took care of a neighbors cats for her while she was traveling for almost a year. Your animal babies will always be safe and cared for with me. I am currently an online ESL instructor for JCPS. I work from home part-time. I also need to be able to medicate my own epileptic kitty at 9 am and 9 pm every day. My schedule is very flexible around these reaponsibilities. I am an experienced, responsible and caring dog walker. I can provide pets with care and company in their homes in whatever way is the least disruptive and the most comforting to them.

About: I have over 7 years of hands-on experience working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities—from small breed seniors to high-energy breeds. Jinger (My own pup) is a 6-year-old Female Malinois-Lab mix, so I’m especially familiar with energetic dogs who need structure, attention, and enrichment to thrive.  Over the years, I’ve cared for puppies, seniors, rescues, and dogs with unique needs—including leash reactivity, anxiety, and medical routines. The wonderful folks at Southside pet shop had taught me Animal Husbandry by the book (literally). During my time there I had taken care of a wide variety of pets in a professional setting. I comfortable caring cats, and exotic pets too- I am more than at home in a multi-pet household.  I ALWAYS approach every pet with patience and empathy. I understand that every animal is different, so I change my care-style (never quality!) to match their needs—whether that’s a long walk, playtime, cuddles or medical needs.  If you need drop-in visits, house sitting, or just someone to give your dog an afternoon potty break, I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, understood, and loved. You can expect daily updates and plenty of photos, Rest assured! Pet sitting is my full-time profession and passion, alongside my work as a freelance artist. I have professional experience in animal husbandry; I’m able to provide attentive, reliable care. I enjoy doing both traditional and digital art; my favorite are pet portraits! If there is downtime while I am petsitting, I’m usually doing art! In both my own home and when caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow the owners instructions, because I understand this routine is in place to keep them comfortable, and healthy. This includes using toys, treats and games to make their day rewarding and fun. Maintaining a clean environment is a top priority; food and water bowls are washed regularly and I always make sure each pet is fed according to their specified guidelines.

About: I'm a freelance artist and mostly work from my laptop, which allows me to hang out with your pet(s) pretty much the entire time. We'll cuddle, and go on walks, and play outside, and I'll give them lots of loving pets. I will also send you frequent photos of them, since I know how stressful it can be to leave them in someone else's care. For me, dog sitting is more than just making some extra money...it's therapy. I am unable to have a dog of my own at this time so I am looking for some dog friends who will help to fill that void. I have yet to meet a dog I didn't like (even the crazy ones), so I'm sure your pet and I will get along swimmingly. I mostly work from home so I will be with your dog most, if not all of the time. I especially love longer stays, but open to just about any length of time. Lots of pets and cuddles! I love taking them on walks, or just hanging out in my fenced backyard. I live near Iroquois park, so that’s also a favorite activity.

About: I absolutely love animals and have my whole life. I just know my last words are going to be "pst pst...come here buddy" as I walk up to a big cat or something. I have had pets ever since I was little and have always considered them apart of my family. I have experience with the care of cats & dogs and I would be delighted to care for your fur baby! Currently this is my full time gig, so I am available for walks and check ins all through the day. I can also do overnight stays with your fur baby (in your home only). I am available to take walk doggos during the day/evening and even do some check ins to make sure they have all they need. Overnights will be in your home so your fur baby is in a familiar environment that they are comfy in.
