About: I’ve been caring for animals my whole life—pets have always been part of my family, not just something I “look after.” Caring for them comes naturally to me, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I have hands-on experience with pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I was trained in dog handling and basic training (including puppies), and while I’m not formally certified in the U.S., my experience comes from years of real, everyday care. I’m especially patient and calm with nervous, senior, or special-needs pets. I’m very comfortable caring for senior dogs, including giving medications and following special routines. I pay close attention to details because I know how important comfort, safety, and consistency are for pets. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and breeds, cats, hamsters, reptiles, fish, and more. “I found out the day before that I needed a sitter for my 8 month old, yet to be neutered, tank of a puppy, Apollo. Having previously left him with only family members, and only a handful of times, we were a little nervous. When we first got there, Apollo immediately seemed to feel comfortable, not even looking back at me. I received photos a few hours in, and when it was time to pick him up, Apollo was trying to climb into a lap (he’s 75 lbs), and was being praised as a love, cuddle bug! About: I have experience in the vet setting and kennel setting and I offer bathing. I also know that your pet is like family and I will treat them as if they were my own. I have also previously started my own dog walking and pet sitting business and know to keep an eye out for medical issues especially with older pets. I am currently enrolled in online classes with a couple short in person classes and work from home so I will be around a lot and be able to ensure that pets are adequately taken care of. I offer pet care in my own home and others homes. We have ensured that our house is safe for any pet and have accommodations for quiet places if an animal is overwhelmed. We also have a basket of toys for dogs and a basket of toys for the cats that stay with us. We also are constantly checking in on your pet and making sure they feel safe and content.
