13. Ashley L.
About: About me: I currently have a lab mix named Smiles, who was a foster turned forever. My parents currently have rottweilers who I visit from time to time and I grew up with Rotties when I lived at their house, so I am not afraid of big dogs. I also volunteer at an animal shelter. I have been volunteering since about 2016, so I have experience handling unfamiliar dogs that I am just meeting for the first time. While volunteering, I have taken classes on dog behaviors and can spot when your dog (or other dogs they might meet on the street) are stressed and will know when to diffuse a situation before it becomes serious. The safety of your dogs and for others around them is my number 1 concern and I take that very seriously. I have had a love for dogs since I was a child and will treat your dog with the same love they receive at home with you! I currently work during the morning most days, so I am available after 4pm when I am scheduled for a shift or all day when I do not have shifts. I would need a few days in advance to plan what time I am available. I will follow any house rules when I am in your house and comfortable with learning new schedules. I understand some pets need there space and will not over crowd those who do not like affection.
14. Marci F.
“Marci is probably the most responsible and dependable person that I know. There’s no one else that I would trust to care for my animals. She loves animals and spends the majority of her day/life helping them and caring for them.”
15. Robyn S.
“I hate leaving my senior dog for any amount of time because she’s used to me being home all day with her. I had a weekend trip that I needed to take and I scheduled a few drop ins with Robyn (my son handled the overnight). I could not be happier. The updates and pics were amazing and I did not have to worry while I was away. She’s the best and was just what we needed! She even handled my crazy cat with no issues!”
16. Nicole F.
“Nicole is the most caring, thoughtful, animal lover I know! She takes the best care of my puppies!! Nicole has her own dog that she cares for so amazingly (that dog has the life) and any animal she is around becomes the center of her world. There’s probably nothing she likes more than animals. Nicole will NOT disappoint!!”
17. Christina M.
About: Hello fur parents! My name is Christina. I started dog sitting at the age of 12 by helping my family when they were away and fell in love with it since I always wanted a dog growing up. I grew up taking care of kittens, cats, fish, and guinea pigs so being able to watch a wide variety of dog breeds makes my young heart warm and fuzzy! I dabbled into the dog industry as a daycare attendant for 2 years. I gained valuable skills in training, feeding/portioning food, collecting data on health concerns, fight prevention, learning and observing dog body language, and recieving CPR/ first aid training. I own a dog named Fiona. She is the sweetest pitbull mix with a silly personality. I have spend my free time teaching Fiona commands and tricks when she wants to listen. 😂 I enjoy taking her to the dog park, taking her out for pup cups, going to new exciting places to sniff and explore, and also taking daily trips to petsmart. On that note, I would love to connect, bond, and give all the attention to your furr babies! I currently work part time as a 1-1 with a client M-F for 7 hours each day in WCU. My weekend availability is pretty open. I enjoy taking Fiona to the dog park, using puzzles/treat balls/kongs, and playing. I will provide daily check ins, physical/mental exercise, daily texts/pictures, can take them to dog park, anything that makes you feel comfortable. I can follow any list you provide.
18. Destinee S.
“Destinee is #1 in my books. She has "dropped in" on my dog since she was a puppy (still is) and has given her great care. I have no worries when I know Dedtinee is coming. My dog is very high energy and still a pup and Destinee has always embraced her and played and played. I always feel most comfortable when Deztinee is coming cause I know Baikey will get great care and receive tons of love!”
19. Twanakay T.
“Thanks you ever so much for your great care if Brynn! For all those reading this review I would like to give TwanaKay a glowing reference/recommendation! She is professional, trustworthy, communicates well, generous with her time and most importantly, compassionate I have an extensive professional life and I felt calm and secure with her in my home without any single worry this week! She is responsible and accommodating. Finding someone you vibe with and trust in your home with your fur babies is hard but I trusted her instantly. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a loving animal care giver.”
