“I did a meet and greet with Samantha and her resident dog, and I immediately knew that my little puppy would be safe and in good hands with her. She understands dog behavior and we watched and made sure that my dog would be nice to her sweet dog. The next day I dropped my doggie for some doggy daycare and as to be expected, he seemed a little nervous when I left him, and Samantha reassured me that after a few minutes, he would be fine -and he was. Just like other reviewers have noted when I went to pick up my little guy he did not seem to want to go home with me. He let me know with his body language that he was very happy and having fun. About: I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember! Growing up in Linstead Jamaica, my family owned a small farm, where we tended goats and chickens. We also took care of 2 generations of Rottweilers, so for as long as I can remember, I have had pets. If they want to cuddle let’s go if they want to sleep on their bed, jah bless. I love having pets in my space. I adore dogs and need them in my life but i don’t want to my own right now. Your dog helps me keep my day moving. I have a door to the patio outside of my office/bedroom. The only issue would be dogs who can’t do stairs. We have a pee spot in the patio if it’s really bad weather.
About: Of course I love animals, but what matters more to me is noticing who your pet actually is. Are they the kind of dog who needs to sniff the same corner for five minutes before moving on? Are they a little shy at first and pretending not to care? Do they get excited easily and need someone calm around them? Are they a cat who wants company, but absolutely not too much company? I really enjoy figuring out those little things. I’m gentle, patient, and very respectful of each pet’s routine. I don’t believe in rushing them or treating every animal the same. Feeding routines, medications, walk preferences, favorite toys, things that scare them, how they like to be greeted, whether they are allowed on the couch. I want to know all of it. I know these details are not “extra.” They are usually the things that make a pet feel secure. I’ll also send updates and photos, not just to say everything is fine, but so you can actually feel connected to them while you are away. She has had pets since childhood and fostered animals for several years, so she is very used to different personalities, nervous pets, affectionate pets, and animals who need a little extra patience. She is calm, loving, and very responsible, and I trust her completely with animals. Between the two of us, your pet will be cared for by people who genuinely like being around animals, but who also understand that trust matters. I’ll treat your pet with warmth, patience, and care, and I’ll treat your home and instructions with respect. This year, much of my work is remote, which gives me real flexibility in my schedule. That means I’m able to spend unrushed, attentive time with pets, not just quick check-ins, but actual companionship, care, and presence. I can shape my day around walks, visits, feeding times, play, and quiet company, depending on what each pet needs. About: When I was younger, my family and I had a family cat who we loved very much. As I got older, I now have my own cat who is my best friend. I have also done dog-walking in the past as I love dogs as well. I am available Monday through Friday in the mornings/early afternoons. I am also available on occasional night to stay with your pet if need be. I keep all items and foods that could be hazardous to my pet locked away in specific parts of the home. Dogs outside are on a leash unless in a safe fenced area. No dogs live in the house currently so one on one care for the lovebugs🩵
