“This was my first time leaving my dog, Aldo, for such a long period, so I was honestly a bit nervous at first. The first couple of days were the hardest for me, and I found myself checking in often. Donte was very understanding and kept me updated, which really helped. After the first few days, I started receiving regular videos, pictures, and even video calls, and that made a huge difference. I could see Aldo was not just okay, he was actually having a great time. He’s normally the only dog at home, but during his stay, he had other dogs to interact with and played and enjoyed himself. It honestly felt like he was the one on vacation, not me. Aldo is a 12-year-old senior dog and can be a picky eater, so I was concerned about how he would adjust. Donte was very patient with him and made sure he was comfortable. When I picked him up, Aldo was completely himself, calm, normal, and clearly well taken care of. That meant a lot to me. I also really appreciated the home environment. There were always people around, which helped Aldo feel more at ease since he’s used to that at home. Overall, I’m very grateful for the care and attention Aldo received. You can tell Donte genuinely cares about the dogs he watches. “I did a meet and greet with Samantha and her resident dog, and I immediately knew that my little puppy would be safe and in good hands with her. She understands dog behavior and we watched and made sure that my dog would be nice to her sweet dog. The next day I dropped my doggie for some doggy daycare and as to be expected, he seemed a little nervous when I left him, and Samantha reassured me that after a few minutes, he would be fine -and he was. Just like other reviewers have noted when I went to pick up my little guy he did not seem to want to go home with me. He let me know with his body language that he was very happy and having fun. Samantha and her partner are genuine “dog people”. My dog is very selective with men and he immediately showed affection towards Samantha‘s boyfriend. About: Of course I love animals, but what matters more to me is noticing who your pet actually is. Are they the kind of dog who needs to sniff the same corner for five minutes before moving on? Are they a little shy at first and pretending not to care? Do they get excited easily and need someone calm around them? Are they a cat who wants company, but absolutely not too much company? I really enjoy figuring out those little things. I’m gentle, patient, and very respectful of each pet’s routine. I don’t believe in rushing them or treating every animal the same. Some pets need play and attention, some need slow walks and quiet reassurance, and some just need someone kind nearby so the house does not feel empty. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in a way that still feels familiar to them. I’m also very careful with instructions. Feeding routines, medications, walk preferences, favorite toys, things that scare them, how they like to be greeted, whether they are allowed on the couch. I want to know all of it. I know these details are not “extra.” They are usually the things that make a pet feel secure. I’ll also send updates and photos, not just to say everything is fine, but so you can actually feel connected to them while you are away. My childhood friend and roommate, Matin, may also help me sometimes, and you may see her in some of my photos. She has had pets since childhood and fostered animals for several years, so she is very used to different personalities, nervous pets, affectionate pets, and animals who need a little extra patience. She is calm, loving, and very responsible, and I trust her completely with animals. About: When I was younger, my family and I had a family cat who we loved very much. As I got older, I now have my own cat who is my best friend. I have also done dog-walking in the past as I love dogs as well. I am available Monday through Friday in the mornings/early afternoons. I am also available on occasional night to stay with your pet if need be. I keep all items and foods that could be hazardous to my pet locked away in specific parts of the home. I also make sure to keep my cat on a consistent schedule when it comes to feeding and administering medication.

About: I’m an animal lover first! Do you need a reliable person to actively engage with your pet, cater to their individual needs, and be a great companion while you are away… it’s me ☺️. Years of experience growing up with animals of all types. I have dealt with very difficult dogs/pets and have a deep respect for each pet and their different needs/personalities. Book with me, you may just come home to a pet knowing new cool tricks 🤭 I work full time M-F 8AM-4PM with regular breaks throughout the day. I am available for all services all day Saturday’s & Sunday’s. Monday through Friday I am available to house sit (as long as I am able to go to work and return as normal), walks are available really early mornings and after 4:30PM M-F I try to keep things as close to their routine as possible and provide care as if their parents were around. Dogs outside are on a leash unless in a safe fenced area. No dogs live in the house currently so one on one care for the lovebugs🩵

“This was my first time leaving my dog, Aldo, for such a long period, so I was honestly a bit nervous at first. The first couple of days were the hardest for me, and I found myself checking in often. Donte was very understanding and kept me updated, which really helped. After the first few days, I started receiving regular videos, pictures, and even video calls, and that made a huge difference. I could see Aldo was not just okay, he was actually having a great time. He’s normally the only dog at home, but during his stay, he had other dogs to interact with and played and enjoyed himself. It honestly felt like he was the one on vacation, not me. Aldo is a 12-year-old senior dog and can be a picky eater, so I was concerned about how he would adjust. Donte was very patient with him and made sure he was comfortable. When I picked him up, Aldo was completely himself, calm, normal, and clearly well taken care of. That meant a lot to me. I also really appreciated the home environment. There were always people around, which helped Aldo feel more at ease since he’s used to that at home. Overall, I’m very grateful for the care and attention Aldo received. You can tell Donte genuinely cares about the dogs he watches. I would definitely trust him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter.”

“I am so so glad I found Victoria on Rover -- highly recommend if you need a sitter for your animal bb! <33 My dog has some health issues which affect his diet, and is a generally shy / anxious lil guy (like myself), and I can't express how grateful and secure I felt knowing Theo felt safe, cared for, and happy while I was away. Victoria has so much experience and compassion working with animals, and you can absolutely tell by her kindness, attentive care, and communication. I appreciated every message and cute picture of my pup Theo on walks, smiling, and relaxing with Victoria (and Remi, Nova, and Luey!) In addition, I appreciated the add-on booking allowing Victoria to come pick and drop Theo off.
