About: I’ve been living in Charlotte with my 5 year old dog and 13 year old cat for about 4 years. I always had dogs growing up and my current dog is a reactive boy so I feel particularly well-versed in dog body language and behaviors after having spent some time with professional trainers for him. Looking forward to meeting your animals! I am currently doing contract based work so my schedule is very flexible. I’m happy to do drop-ins and walks pretty much anytime of day. I offer drop-ins at the client’s home. I am very detail oriented and will ensure that all requirements are met. About: I grew up fostering and rescuing dogs, volunteering at local shelters, and have an adopted lab mix rescue of my own, AJ. I believe every pet deserves someone who will give them extra special treatment and attention while their parents are away. Dogs can get lonely, and they need playtime, mental stimulation, and lots of cuddles too! About: I have always had dogs in my life. I grew up on a farm and we had Goldens, Labs, and Great Pyrenees. I am no stranger to big dogs but I also love the little pups. In high school I volunteered at a Greyhound rescue. I would walk, feed and play with the pups as well as clean out their crates and their play yard. Two summers ago I had a babysitting and dog sitting job where I spent Monday-Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM with the child and the dog. I balanced the care of both the kid and the puppy, fed both and gave the dog walks. My most recent job was at Pet Wants Charlotte. To work there you're basically required to have a passion for animals. I went through extensive training and education in pet behavior and nutrition. I loved working there because we got to see pups everyday in the store and I felt very confident in my recommendations. I loved when a customer would come in with questions because I was able to exercise my knowledge and it was so rewarding for them to come back and tell me how much my recommendation helped them or how much their dog loved the food/product. Currently I am in school, so I can't have a dog but my roommates have two cats. I am currently a student at UNCC but I have a flexible schedule as most of my classes are online. I have no class Monday and Friday and am completely available on weekends. During the week I have classes Tuesday and Thursday from 1-2:30 and Wednesday from 6-7:30 and am available and flexible otherwise. My own cat sadly just passed but my roommates have two cats. Occasionally I scoop litter and feed the other two and I am always the one trusted with watching them when my roommates are traveling. When my cat was still with me I balanced his diet with wet food in the morning and fresh dry food at night, as well as keeping three stainless steel water fountains around my house. I scooped his litter once a day and fully emptied it and cleaned it every other week. I care very much about my animals and you can expect that same care and attention with yours. I love to go for runs and walks, especially if I'm doing that with a pup. I have no problem cleaning up mess or providing medicine as my roommates cat needs pill medication and eyedrops, which I have given before.

If "Above & beyond" were a person, it would be Elizabeth! The care Elizabeth showed for Diesel, from the meet & greet til their last walk was incredible. Diesel, who is known to be... "selective", got excited anytime she heard the buzzer sound and walked to the hallway and greet Elizabeth when they arrived. Normally she is very coy, but not with Elizabeth! It takes weeks for Diesel to warm to someone, but Elizabeth had her in days. It was clear that Elizabeth has a passion for dogs. Administratively, Elizabeth was prompt, communicative, and professional at all times. She displayed extraordinary patience before and during the booking process, as there were some issues on Rover's end. I would not hesitate to recommend Elizabeth to care for your animal. I will certainly be relying on her again, to care for mine.

Marcus Walker is definitely the excellence of dog care. He is reliable and punctual by consistently arriving on time for walks and was dependable even in bad weather.
