“Lori watched our dog Hana for four nights and we couldn’t be more pleased. Hana can be very anxious and temperamental, but Lori exceeded our expectations and was able to form a bond with her quickly. We usually avoid boarding Hana at larger facilities because she becomes overwhelmed and overly anxious. However, Lori was able to provide Hana with much more intimate care where she felt safer. Lori provided daily updates showing us that Hana was active and well taken care of. This made it much easier to feel at ease while we are on vacation. We will certainly be using her again.”

About: I’ve cared for many pets over the years for family and friends, and it’s something I genuinely enjoy. I’m very attentive and make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owner is away. I follow routines closely, whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, or just giving them attention and companionship. I treat every pet like my own and always make sure they’re happy, clean, and cared for. Right now I have a very flexible schedule, so pet sitting fits easily into my daily routine. I’m able to be available most times of the day, which allows me to give pets the time, attention, and care they deserve. Since my schedule isn’t packed, I can focus on making sure each pet is comfortable, safe, and well taken care of while their owners are away. When I’m caring for pets at home, I make sure they get plenty of food, fresh water, exercise, and attention throughout the day. I take them on at least two or three walks during the day and make sure they get lots of playtime so they stay active and happy. I also keep their space clean, make sure feeding schedules are followed, and give them plenty of attention so they feel comfortable. At night I make sure they have a safe, comfortable place to sleep and that they’re settled in for the night. In the morning I repeat the routine by checking their food and water, taking them out for a walk, and making sure they start the day happy and well cared for.

“Raycel watched my 3 year old mini aussie for three days while I was having my wedding in Jamestown--she was super communicative and responsive, very flexible with pick up and drop off, located conveniently and went above and beyond to bring our dog to be present during our wedding reception despite our dog getting hyper and being a handful. She handled her with ease (and treats)! Could not have asked for a better person or home to care for our dog--our dog was happier and more relaxed at Raycel's than she has ever been when boarded overnight at a variety of at-home stays. Photos throughout her stay put us at ease during a very stressful time and we couldn't have been more grateful. Highly recommended for those in Newport/Jamestown/Middletown and nearby areas.”
