I've always had a dog in the house since I was born, but I also have vast experience taking care of the pets of immediate family, as well as a lot of my extended family. I've taken care of dogs, cats, reptiles, amphibians, and fish for as long as I can remember. Currently, I'm studying wildlife and animal care at school and have experience with internships where I handle animals.

Diego has cared for my anxious dog Daisy dozens of times over the last several years. He is responsible and very caring—which is perfect for our situation. Daisy is a rescue—often nervous around men, loud noises and new situations. Diego will sit with Daisy and just pet her or be near, getting on the floor so as not to tower over and frighten her. He is intuitive and kind! I highly recommend Diego to care for your pet in your home or his—overnights, dog walks and drop ins.
We highly recommend Diego for your pet sitting needs. We dropped off our two older chihuahua mix dogs with Diego from Sunday to Saturday and went on vacation. Our dogs are not the most socialized pets, but they did great. Diego made sure they each ate their respective food, walked and played with them and sent pictures with updates.
Diego cared for our two senior Labrador retrievers for several years, including overnight stays. As they got older, they needed extra attention and consistent care, and he always handled those responsibilities well. I trusted him completely with them and would confidently recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.

Schedule
I'm currently working part time, but only around 4-8 hours a week, so I have lots of time to take care of pets. I'm at home for the majority of the day, and I often take long walks during the day that I would love to bring dogs on. I also have a car and everything in my life is in close proximity to my house, so if I'm ever not at home I can come right back very soon.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard and several parks nearby my house that I can take dogs to. I have no dogs in the house but I'm happy to board many if necessary. I can crate dogs if necessary but I don't have to, they're allowed to have free reign of the house if the owner is okay with it. Dogs are allowed on the furniture but again if an owner requests they not do that then that's great too!
A typical day
I love to have fun with dogs! I'm happy to take dogs out for many walks a day, and even to dog parks if it's okay with the owner. I like to play with them to keep their mood up and keep them mentally and emotionally stimulated.
