About: I love animals and I have always had a variety of pets (both typical and unique) as beloved members of my family or cherished beings I’ve gotten the opportunity to spend time with. Some of the animals I’ve lived with or cared for include: dogs, cats, fish (salt and fresh), birds, hedgehogs, hamsters, reptiles, rabbits, pigs, and many more! I currently live in Petworth with my partner and our 4 beautiful rescue dogs (Havanese-4 y/o, Pomeranian-15 y/o, Husky-10 y/o, and Pittie-6 y/o). Over the years, my diverse and pawfict pack has taught me more and more about pet care. Especially my senior Pomeranian–whom I’ve had the privilege to love since he was a rambunctious puppy–now into his baby grandpa-hood, and hopefully into his twilight years. I look forward to walking dogs and meeting/sitting various pets in our neighborhood. Thank you for considering me to care for your special family member! My schedule can be somewhat flexible - if I know in advance I can change the days/hours I work. I work in my office 8 hours a day, four days a week. My in-office days are (typically) Monday - Thursday, 10 am to 7 pm (because of commute time), so on these days I can walk or visit your pet before or after work. With prearrangement, your pet may even be able to accompany me in office (my 15 y/o Pomeranian comes with me to work). On my work-from-home days, I’m available to sit and work from your home or take a lunch break to walk or drop-in on your pet. On weekends my availability is variable, but I try my best to keep my Rover calendar up to date. My partner and I live in Hyattsville with our 4 dogs (Havanese-Maltese, Pomeranian, Husky mix, and Terrier mix). We have a backyard and 2 separate living spaces in our home, giving us room for extra pups. Our home has one-step entry in the back, making it great for elderly dogs or dogs with joint problems.

About: I’ve been an animal lover since a kid, and am excited to care for your pet! I’m a grad student in MD and am a proud pet parent of 2 Yorkie-mix dogs. I have experience with pet feeding, long walks, and fun playtime. I’m also comfortable administering medications and caring for dogs of all sizes. My husband and I are fairly flexible, and I often work from home. We have a large backyard where your dog(s) can safely play and enjoy the outdoors. I’m a grad student who has a very flexible schedule. I walk the dogs around 7:30am, brush their teeth, and set out their food. I also go on midday walks so they are mentally and physically stimulated. My husband takes the dogs out for long walks in the evenings as well. We are happy to include your pets into this schedule or add any additional care into this routine per your request and/or according to your pet’s needs. I have a large yard and 2 lovable pups that can keep your dog(s) company. We go on frequent walks and bathroom breaks around our quiet neighborhood and have tons of play space around the house. So in between your pet can be as lazy or as active as he, she or they wants. I have a large fenced back yard for playing and a huge front and back porch for lounging. Our home provides open space and cozy spaces for relaxing.

About: I have two elderly cats and a handicapped dog that i have experience taking care of. Throughout the years, I have learned how to navigate potentially difficult situations pertaining to interactions with other animals or medical emergencies. I will always treat your pets as if they are my own, because I recognize that a pet is a member of the family and should be treated as such. I am a student at the University of Maryland; I am currently a senior so I have a lot of free time to spend caring for pets. I will follow all directions exactly; my yard is not fenced in but I will gladly visit clients’ houses to care for their pets as needed.

If your pet enjoys the outdoors we can be outside a good bit even after we take a walk, depending on the weather.

About: I took care of our two family dogs while I was growing up, and I also had many other pets such as hamsters, rats, guinea pigs, and rabbits. In highschool, I volunteered at the ASPCA in their "exotic animals" department, where I cared for rabbits, guinea pigs, and occasionally birds or reptiles.
