About: Hi there! I'm an experienced pet sitter with over 10 years of professional experience right here in El Cerrito. I've had the pleasure of caring for all sorts of animals, from playful pups to quiet cats, and I truly love what I do. My goal is to provide your beloved pet with personalized, loving care, whether it's a fun walk, playtime, or just some comforting company. You can relax knowing your furry family member is in capable and caring hands while you're away. I'm excited to meet you and your pets! I have opened availability because I am a substitute teacher and do not work during the summers. I will schedule my availability around your pets needs. I provide loving attention, regular exercise, and a safe environment for pets in both my home and yours. I ensure they have playtime, cuddles, and consistent routines, keeping them happy and comfortable while you're away. Your pets are family! 🐾❤️

“Sophie took good care of our cat for 10 days while we were on vacation. She sent us thoughtful updates with photos every day. We were glad to leave our pet in her capable hands while we were away. Thank you Sophie!”

“Irina was wonderful. She took such wonderful care of our two dogs. She was very communicative and sent daily dog photos. Highly recommend and look forward to working with her in the future.”

“Harold was easy-going and accessible in the planning process. He is kind, practical, and good with dogs. Our dogs received great care, and he was especially careful with our elderly dog, doing extra work to help her and clean up after her, which we really appreciated. We used Harold for three nights of house-sitting and we found our home was in good order and the dogs were calm when we got home. Very happy to have found him!”

“Natasia was a wonderful house and dog sitter. She seemed at ease with a larger dog and made Honey feel comfortable right away. I could tell by the way that Honey interacted with Natasia that he liked her 💖🐶 Which warmed my heart and helped me feel less sad to leave. Very much looking forward to Honey getting to spend time with Natasia again.”

“Crystal is pure gold. As any loving pet owner can attest, leaving a furry family member for an extended period of time, particularly a sensitive one, can be nerve-wrecking and heart-wrenching. My skeptical, wary rescue named Lucy was putty in Crystal's loving arms for two and a half weeks. From daily photos and videos, the love affair was real. And then I came home to an absolutely spotless home with a polished copper sink. Crystal went above and beyond and I hope she'd like to house sit again. Lucy will miss her for sure!”

“Carlo was an amazing dog sitter for us! He was on time and communicated very well with detailed updates about the dogs care. He went above and beyond in providing exercise and loving care for our furry guy and we would definitely utilize him as a caretaker again. Thank you Carlo!”

Growing up with dogs throughout my life, I am well accustomed to their needs. I have also volunteered at animal shelters and an animal hospital where caring for cats and dogs is the name of the game!! I would love to meet your babies and give them the best care. I am a Registered Behavioral Technician that goes to clients homes to administer ABA services. When in a clients home, I am respectful and take care to leave things as they were or better. I can follow a variety of care schedules, as I have followed specific lab protocols of care in the past and I have experience with my friends varying animal care preferences and needs.

“Hannah was an excellent sitter for Bisco. She kept me updated with pictures and information on times Bisco was walked and fed. She was very prompt and understanding of my worries with Bisco. Our home was left very clean! I've never felt more comfortable with anyone on the Rover app caring for Bisco. When we came home he was happy and calm, more so than any other time being left with a new person. I would reccomend Hannah to anyone and if I need Sitter service in the future I would absolutely ask Hannah again! Perfect all around!”

“Nick is great with our dogs. They instantly liked him the second they met him in our initial meet and greet. He came on time and kept me updated on the dogs. Will definitely use his service again in the future.”

About: I've worked my entire 30+ year career taking care of people and their animals. I'm all about healthy treats, balanced food options, great nutrition, and appropriate exercise; and as a former chef and caregiver, I love cooking for pets too! While I don't currently have any pets of my own, I'm also happy to just chill out with your pet for anxiety reducing calm and comfort. Need someone to be attentive and sensitive to your pet's needs? I'm your Girl! I'm currently working remotely, part-time Tuesday through Thursday. My work is pretty flexible and I can take it with me wherever I go, though I do require notice so I can prepare and make adjustments if needed. I'm open to negotiating outside of calendar hours listed. Just reach out and ask! If I'm unable to make it work, I'll let you know. I'm a fun-loving soul that, simply, adores animals! I'm happy to care for your pup or meowser at your East Bay home. I can stay or stop by to play, spend quality time, or just water, feed, and walk your furry friend if that's what you need. While I haven't any formal medical training for pets, I'm detail oriented and good with instructions. I'm here to help out, so if you have any questions about special needs, just ask.

Michelle Y.
“Michelle has taken care of fur babies and home on several occasions in the past. While I have several great stories to share about all the stellar years of service, what stands out to me the most about her is the way she cares for our home and pets as if they were her own. It is one of the qualities I most admire about her, to include how happy our pets are when they're in her care. Thanks Michelle! You've save us from a pickle or two on more than one occasion and you're simply the best.”
