“We had a wonderful experience boarding Zoe with Wenxin and her partner. We’ve been dealing with some allergies and they helped us keep up with her probiotics and cleansing foam. Zoe was well exercised and came home fully relaxed. They also went above and beyond with dropping her off at our house since they were in the neighborhood that evening, as well as supplementing her food when I forgot a meals worth. Highly recommend especially if you want your dog treated like family!”
“Ashish and family boarded Penny for a week while I was traveling. They sent me lots of pics of how much fun Penny was having with the family and I wondered if she would even want to come home 😆”

“Our Luna girl stayed with Adam and Julie for over a week and this was herfirst stay with them. We did do a meet and greet a couple months before the actual stay so we had an idea if Luna liked Adam and Julie. Luna is normally a fairly reactive young puppy like adolescent with frequent barking and lungeing at people and dogs that distress her which can be many people and dogs. We went to their home for the meet and greet and Luna was fairly comfortable with Adam and Julie right off the bat. That was definitely a good sign. Two months later and Luna now 2 months older and more mellow has her stay with Adam and Julie. We picked Luna up after our trip and she was happy, playful, and reacted like she had a good stay. Julie and Adam gave us a full report and it seems everything went well. We got a daily picture of Luna sent via text which made us very happy to connect with her. Thanks to Adam and Julie for taking good care of our girl while we were on vacation.”

“Banksy had an amazing time at Luna's and loved playing with Jim. I felt extremely comfortable leaving Banksy with Luna, based on the questions she asked about Banksy, her attention to detail about his needs and safety, and just her kind warm personality! I loved the pictures each day. I wholeheartedly recommend Luna and will definitely be having her watch Banksy again!”

“Yesica was phenomenal with our 3 year old Bernedoodle. She was attentive, responsible, caring and overall gave so much love to our little pup. When I dropped off our dog, she instantly felt connected to Yesica and comfortable in her home. Yesica also did a great job keeping us posted on how our pup was doing. With texts and photos, we never had a doubt that our dog was well cared for. I will definitely be booking with Yesica again!”

“Maria was great with my poodle mix pita. She sent me updates and pictures. Her house is very clean and tidy. We will be booking with her again. Great experience. Thank you Maria!”

About: I’ve had dogs for most of my life. I grew up with 4 bigs dogs. Recently I’ve been doing walks on apps, I’ve done over 70+ services ranging from taking care of old pets to very young ones. People always set me as their preferred walker since they love that I listen to their rules and go on long walks with their dogs. For a 60 minute walk I average about 2-3 miles, depending on the dog. I’m currently a student at San Jose State University and I look forward to doing some walks or other services on the weekends when I’m back home, also I can do walks or sittings on the weekdays when I off school. I have a fenced yard, the dogs and cats are allowed in the house and my room. I will make sure to always keep a lookout and have them be where I am at.
“Louis watched our dog for multiple days over Thanksgiving week, and was absolutely amazing. He gave super prompt communication and is very knowledgeable. We felt at ease during our trip knowing our dog was in good hands. Highly recommend Louis if you are in need of a great dog sitter!”

“Ross was phenomenal! He sent me pictures and updates every few hours over the several days that my dog was with him. I could see how happy my dog was with Ross, and they had lots of fun time together. I am definitely going with Ross in the future for my dog boarding needs!”

“Luciana and Rob were incredible and did an amazing job taking care of our little cavapoo, Poppy. There were so kind and welcoming. We had a great meet and greet with them early in the booking process and we knew they were a perfect fit for her. Poppy gets nervous around strangers and they were very patient and let Poppy go at her own pace. They sent lots of photos and updates while we were away and we couldn’t have been more at ease leaving our fur baby.”

“Tea and Nova were so great with my boy, Mako! She was so patient with getting to know Mako and making sure that I was confident that the two pups would get along. She definitely has lots of training experience which was great because Mako can be reactive. Plus Tea sent lots of pictures! I'll definitely have Tea watch Mako again ❤️”

“Radha is Kai’s favorite 😍 Kai gets so excited to go and soaks up lots of love and attention while there 😊 I get videos and updates and feel worry free bc I know Kai is getting excellent care.”

“Ali is the best! She’s been caring for my dog for 4 years now. She’s so responsible, knowledgeable, and caring. I know my dog is always in safe and capable hands whenever I leave him with her. Can’t recommend her enough!”

“Hope was recommended to us by another great Rover sitter, and we are really grateful. Hope is so friendly and knowledgeable about dogs and their behavior. She made Coconut comfortable immediately. Her little dog Rocky is adorable and super friendly. Coconut loved going for walks and playing with Rocky's toys. Hope was great with sending text updates as well as photos and videos. Here's hoping Hope doesn't get too busy to have room for Coconut the next time we need her!”

“Melissa is a great cat sitter. She clearly cares a lot about animals and has an intuitive sense of caring for them. She rolled with the punches taking care of my indoor/outdoor cat, which comes with some quirks. She was always on time; and always very communicative. I’d feel great leaving her in charge of friendly again!”

“Sofia always takes such great care of our cats! She came on short notice to check in on our kitties over the weekend and was attentive and responsive as always. She does great playing with our younger, very active kitty. Thank you, Sofia!”

“We couldn't have asked for more. Lili was responsible, responsive, and did a great job caring for our cat while we were away. Not only did she provide all the basics- food, water, etc. - but very clearly bonded with our cat too. Thank you!”

“Thank you Cyndi for taking care of Jack and Guiness and sending us the pictures, it gave us a lot of piece of mind knowing that Cyndi was taking care of our 2 cats! I can highly recommend Cyndi”
About: I volunteer at a dog shelter which has improved my skills in dog walking and understanding dog behavior. I have been taking care of dogs for neighbors, friends and family since I was 12. I walk dogs daily, prepare meals, play with them, and give medication, if needed. Hi. My name is Yesica. I just finished my first year at university, so I am currently on summer vacation. My schedule is open and flexible so I have plenty of time to walk and play with your pets throughout the week. I am also available for housing on weekends and holidays. I care for pets by following their normal routines as closely as possible so they feel comfortable, stress-free and safe. In my house in particular I have a doggy door that I can open and close to make potty breaks and play time outside easily accessible. In both my house and a client’s home, I make sure to keep the environment clean and secure for the animals. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect the owner’s instructions, and I provide updates with photos and messages so owners feel reassured while they’re away.

About: I truly love cats and have two of my own. One was rescued from the street, and his name is Macchiato. The other was adopted from a shelter, and her name is Truffle. I also have experience caring for other cats and often help my friends take care of their cats. I’m patient and responsible, and I always make sure cats feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for.

“Alba (Priscilla) was great! I was worried our shy kitty would just stay hidden and not get any interaction while we were gone. But Priscilla was great with them & they both got play time and pets. They were healthy and happy when we got home! Would definitely book again.”

About: Two for one! My partner and I take an active role in your pet's overall wellness. We like to think we can be there for your loved fur-one when you need to go out of town or simply need a small break from your day-to-day routines. We are a family of fur-lovers and have a couple of years experience caring for dogs of all sizes and special needs. We are big fans of the outdoors and see your pet as our motivation to get up and move! But, we also are huge couch potatoes and will spoil your dog rotten at home with endless amount of snuggles and treats (all depending on your dogs overall needs). I work from home while my partner tends to have a more spontaneous schedule (entrepreneur life) - so we are very accommodating to majority schedules, week days and weekends. We usually keep dogs on the leash at all times unless owner specific requests not too. Once we’ve established a good relationship with them, we’ll usually take them to the dog park at let them have a bit of fun.

“Carrie was fantastic!! I was in the throes of moving my mom into an assisted living whilst at the same time living abroad. She took care of both cats and helped me with sorting out the post and other really essential tasks. Thank you Carrie!!!”

About: I have been lucky enough to provide care to clients and their pets for the last 10 years. I have fostered, facilitated adoptions, and coordinated care beyond boarding and daycare and enjoy the complex and companionable nature of the industry. I work from home and am available to provide round the clock care. A typical day begins with drop off in my yard between 7-9am and pick up from 4-7pm M-F but with some coordinating I am flexible depending on your needs. I have a three bedroom home, a fully fenced in yard, and very dog friendly furniture. The vibe is very much relaxed, fun, and spacious. Dogs are fed separately and ideally are crated at night.
“Mason was a great sitter for our two cats! He was communicative, left the house so clean and most importantly, we came home to happy and loving cats. Would definitely recommend!”

About: I grew up surrounded by dogs and cats since birth and have spent my whole life building a deep understanding of animal behavior and care. Growing up, my family raised two litters of puppies and 4 kittens, giving me hands-on experience with everything from newborn care to socialization throughout various life stages. Cats have been a constant in my life just as long as dogs have. I know how to read their cues, respect their space, and earn their trust on their own terms. I genuinely love every stage of a pet's life and know how to meet each animal where they are, whether that's an energetic puppy, a curious cat, or a laid-back senior. I’ve worked in human crisis intervention for over 6 years, which means I stay calm under pressure and know how to respond quickly and clearly when something unexpected happens. That same steady, caring approach is what I bring to every pet I look after. Your pet won't just be cared for, they'll feel right at home!

“Wenxin took wonderful care of Moscow! She kept us updated with plenty of photos and videos, and it was clear that Moscow received lots of attention and outdoor time. If we ever need a sitter again, we wouldn’t hesitate to book with her!”

“A huge THANK YOU to Michael, his mom, and Mayzie for taking such good care of our puppy for the day. Michael’s communication was great from the time of booking, through the entire day (he sent lots of photos and texts), until the end of the booking. He even took our pup on a couple of short walks, which was super nice of him. We could tell from the photos Michael sent us that our puppy was having so much fun and plenty of play time. We would definitely recommend Michael and hope to use him again.”

I helped take care of my disabled neighbors dog for 2-3 years as a teen before before becoming a dog owner of my own. “Christiano is great with our dog. He is such a nice guy and you can tell he really cares about animals. We feel comfortable leaving our boy with him and know he's in good hands. It's really nice to have someone we can rely on when we need a dog sitter. He even was able to take our dog last minute/day of when we needed someone. Our dog also has some specific needs and Christiano is always accommodating. Definitely recommend him and his team!”

“We are fortunate that we found Asatur close to our house. Pando went for a few days for day care with Asatur, while we had some workers at home. His excitement to go to Asatur's house increased every day, the first day Pando was nervous, by that the last day he was running out of the car and into Asatur's house gate when we were dropping him.”

About: Hi! We are Angelina and Xavior & we are here to be your fur baby’s new favorite sitter! We joined Rover in 2018 & have met so many amazing fur babies & pet parents! I (Angelina) have been taking care of different animals since I was about 9 years old, however as of 5 years ago I’ve started to work with pets in a more professional setting. I started at a doggie daycare, until moved to a training & boarding kennel. The owner also did have a dog rescue as well. There I worked with one of the best dog trainers in Northern Virginia for almost 2 years & learned a lot not only about dog training but also working with rescue pups & how it sometimes can be a bit different! After that I worked at an SPCA location with rescue pups & kitties! We relocated to Atlanta for a while where we continued to do Rover & I also worked at another doggie daycare/kennel/rescue hybrid! Aside from this I do also have a dog training certification as well as a grooming certification. We both have experience with a variety of animals including but not limited to dogs, cats, cows, goats, horses, reptiles, birds, rodents, etc. We hope this gives you a bit more Insight on us both & we can’t wait to hear from you! I recently made the decision to work on rover full-time as I love being able to provide at-home care for your fur babies that cannot board in a kennel-like-environment. Pet care will always fit in perfectly to my routine! We will always follow your pet’s typical routine unless otherwise requested. We know how stressful it can be for both the pet & pet parent, which is why your baby is always our top priority. Whether it is a drop-in, quick walk, or month long stay we make sure to give your baby lots of love while their you are away! We have a dog who is quite the social butterfly! If your baby also loves to make friends she would be a great addition to keeping us company!
“I left my dog Kenai with Yvonne for daycare today for the first time. Yvonne is a wonderful dog sitter! She communicates well, is easy to work with, pays attention to the details of your dog's care, and is very attentive to your pet. I feel very fortunate to have found Ivonne and will definitely request daycare or boarding with her again. Highly recommend!”
“We were worried about leaving our new puppy for the first time, but Alisha set up a Zoom so we could meet her the day before and it was immediately obvious that she would take great care of our little guy. Then, when we dropped him off, he practically jumped into her arms and made himself at home in the space she has set up which is perfect for doggy guests. She sent us updates and pics throughout the evening. We are very glad to have Alisha nearby for the future. I especially appreciate her depth of knowledge -- she is a great resource for those of us who have limited experience with raising puppies!”

“Kyle was very sweet and seemed to enjoy walking my dogs. They seem to really like him also giving him lots of kisses! Kyle was also very accommodating as he was a last-minute request due to another dog walker having to cancel for an emergency. I would not hesitate to ask him to walk my dogs again!”

“Cyndi was so great with our dogs. They connected with her immediately and greeted her with enthusiasm on every visit. Friendly and reliable— our dogs definitely loved Cyndi’s visits and the variety of walks she took them on. We plan to have her care for our dogs again on future trips if she’s available.”

About: Hi! My name is Farhan. My profile might be newer but I have lots of personal experience with very different and demanding dogs. My first dog I’ve ever had was a Great Dane, a gentle giant who came with the classic challenge of leash pulling. Learning to walk and train a strong willed mini horse taught me the patience and proper leash training that I can apply to any dog I walk. My French Bulldog also came with her own set of challenges, and has helped me become well versed in managing food allergies and breathing sensitivities that frenchies are known for. I know how to see if something is off and how to keep a medically sensitive dog safe and comfortable. Additionally, I’ve spent time with senior dogs, cats, and horses, so I understand different types of care that animals need. The best time for walks would be anywhere from 11am - 8pm. For drop in visits and house sitting message me and I will be able to cater to your schedule. I live with two dogs who are very friendly with other dogs. I have two gates set up in case they need to be separate.

“This is a repeat hire due to the success and quality of the previous walk . Our Malinois is well rested after the walk , and communication with Judy was clear and comfortable . Heartily recommended!”

“Yasmin was so incredibly great with my dog! I have a very hyper little dog and she was so patient and kind with him. She took him for long walks (even in this heatwave!) and made sure he had water after they were done. She also takes the cutest pictures that I have saved many to my phone. She even provides an update of how the walk went and what happened with her walking card which definitely going above and beyond. If you need a great dog walker I would highly recommend her because she is so amazing!”

“Mocha thoroughly enjoys spending time with Nathaniel and his family. They consistently demonstrate great kindness towards him, ensuring that he is well taken care of. We truly appreciate your unwavering care for him, and we eagerly anticipate our next meeting.”

“Allora was great! I only have positive things to say, Coco seemed so happy staying with her and her family. Allora sent me frequent updates and pictures which was great! I will definitely be boarding Coco with her again.”

“Ali is the best! She’s been caring for my dog for 4 years now. She’s so responsible, knowledgeable, and caring. I know my dog is always in safe and capable hands whenever I leave him with her. Can’t recommend her enough!”

“Upon meeting Asatur for our meet and greet, I already felt his calm energy and Sebi did, too. He took the time to show us around the house and allow Sebi the space to “investigate” around the surroundings. He was very careful in how he introduced Sebi to the existing pack that he was sitting. His extremely clean house/large yard are set up in a manner that is very safe for the dogs to play with access to water, shade, as well as inside the house and garage as need. There was also water and a bucket of balls/Chuck-it readily available for all of the pups to play with. He is very patient, kind, and empathetic which is exactly what my fear aggressive pandemic pup needed! When we arrived to his house, Sebi immediately started doing his excited cry (something he only does when we get to a hike or a dog park or his grandparents house in Washington DC). He did not bark as we met Asatur and entered the home. He was excited to go see who was out in the yard to play with! Asatur took the time to keep me updated while I was away on my trip while sending me pictures. This was Sebi’s second time boarding since his first time a year ago and he isn’t exposed to too many new people on the regular, so I was very nervous. I was notified that Sebi did not bark after I left and proceeded to give Asatur kisses on the daily and became friends with the cat, too. When I arrived to pick him up, upon seeing him, I already knew that he was beginning to trust Asatur because he was wearing a shirt (Sebi is a hairless dog)…which meant that he was comfy allowing someone else to handle him! HUGE DEAL FOR SEBI! I highly refer booking with Asatur. His attention to the needs of every individual dog that he boards is meticulous. His energy is reminiscent of Cesar Milan (calm and empathetic but in charge) and the pups seem to all be in harmony under his watch. If you can handle my Sebastien, my-fear-aggressive-pandemic-extra-large-puppy, then you are doing the work of God!!! ?? We are excited and looking forward to boarding Sebi here again many more times in the future! Thank you!!!”

“Coco stayed with Kiarash and Sky for 16 days while we were traveling abroad. As soon as we got out of the car, Coco was very excited to see Kiarash. We received many updates and photos/videos which we appreciated so much! Kiarash even cooked Coco homemade meals and shared some of Sky’s treats when Coco’s ran out. Thank you, Kiarash for making Coco and us feel comfortable while we were away. Leaving one’s pet for this long isn’t easy so we are glad to have found a very reliable pet sitter for Coco who he also adores and is excited to see! This was Coco’s third time staying with them and will certainly not be the last.”

“I'm so happy to have found Jeanette and her family. My dog is rambunctious to say the least, and at 70lbs, he can be quite a lot to handle. I wanted to do a trial run with Jeanette before booking her for my 2+ week trip coming up. This was mainly to make sure they could see what they were getting into! And to my sheer embarrassment, I showed up with my dog on the wrong day... but they were so sweet and understanding and let him stay for the day. When he stayed the night, he marked some spots in their house (like her bed ughhhhh) but they handled it by putting a belly wrap on him. It was a wonderful feeling to pick up Buddy as I could tell he was well taken care of and had lots of fun with his friends, and Jeanette let me know how it went in detail. She was honest about everything, which I really appreciated because I know my dog is wild and challenging, I rescued him off the street and while we've come a long way since then, he still has a lot to learn. So I wouldn't trust anyone who said "oh everything was just perfect, no issues whatsoever" lol. They are very good people, and I know Buddy will be in good hands on my long trip. It's my first time leaving him for this long, but I know that they will update me and reassure me that he's doing OK. I highly recommend them.”

“We had such a wonderful experience leaving our dog with Kate! Kate sent daily pictures and updates, so we never had to worry about how our pup was doing; we could actually relax and enjoy our vacation, knowing she was in such caring hands. Kate's own dog, Rootie, is the sweetest thing, adorable, and so well-behaved, which says a lot about the loving environment she provides. It's clear that dogs are happy and comfortable in her care. We're so glad we got to meet Kate and sweet Rootie, and we'll definitely be knocking on their door again the next time we travel. Highly recommend!”

“Michael was flexible with drop off and pickup times and was very communicative throughout the process. He sent daily status updates and photos of our pup, so we could rest assured that she was being well-cared for. He took our pup on multiple walks per day along with his dog, and made sure she had plenty of outside time. He made us feel comfortable that our pup was in good hands.”

“Kim was so wonderful with our sweet pup, Teddy. She sent pics each day and took him to the park regularly with her sweet dog. Teddy seemed to have a great time and came home a happy pup!”
