About: I've had pets most of my life. When I was born, my mom had three Cocker Spaniels. Over the years, I have had several large breed dogs and one small dog. I enjoy spending time hiking and training my own dog and others. Over the last several years, I have been helping my son with his pet care business, so I have had a lot of experience boarding pets. I am a retired teacher, so I am home most of the time. I do run some errands during the day or am out walking dogs. Most of our guest dogs stay in the living room where we spend most of our time. I have a fenced yard, a Standard Poodle that is very used to having guest dogs in my home, and three cats that live upstairs.

We like to think we can be there for your loved fur-one when you need to go out of town or simply need a small break from your day-to-day routines. We are a family of fur-lovers and have a couple of years experience caring for dogs of all sizes and special needs. We are big fans of the outdoors and see your pet as our motivation to get up and move! But, we also are huge couch potatoes and will spoil your dog rotten at home with endless amount of snuggles and treats (all depending on your dogs overall needs). Later in life a giant schnauzer named Effie came into my life. She was a big girl weighing in at 115 lbs. Those dogs gave me their greatest years and the combined experience they both granted me with their time here has prepared me to deal with any type of dog; regardless of shape or size and even personality type. I currently find myself with a ton of free time and I don't have any pets at this point in my life but have always missed the company of a cat or dog since I have grown up around animals for most of my life. I plan to care for a pet the same way I would perform any job or duty with the upmost of attention and care. Your pet would be cared for as if they were a human child. During walks I would watch our surroundings carefully to keep us both out of danger, of course water will be provided as well. I am fully prepared to tend to pets here at my home. I have hard wood floors so clean up would be no problem for me and there is a patch of grass in the back part of my apartment building.

In my home, I make sure the space is clean, pet‑safe, and free of anything they could chew or swallow. I keep doors and windows secured, monitor pets closely, and give them a calm environment. About: Hi! My name is Vivi and I love dogs. (Actually, I love all animals!) I grew up with family dogs and adopted my own last year (she's a complete sweetie). I also have a cat, a bearded dragon, and fish. I worked in a local dog daycare and hotel for over three years and loved it! Now that I'm in a graduate program, I couldn't keep up the hours but missed the dogs. My favorite part of that job was walking the dogs and now I'd love to walk your dog. I really enjoy connecting with each dog, getting to know their personalities, taking care of them, and giving them the attention, stimulation, and fun that comes from being together and enjoying the day. I am currently working on my clinical hours for my degree and am busy Monday and Wednesday after noons 1-5pm and Thursdays at the same time and at 7am-10am every other week. Any other time is all good for me! When I take care of a pet, I care for them in any ways that they might need. I have had experiences with reactive dogs, dogs with specific medical needs, young dogs who are practicing training still, and senior dogs. I want to do what is most comfortable for the dog and am super happy to accommodate for any needs that they have when caring for them! I have experience reading and reacting to cat and dog body language and know when my presence is invited by them and when they might need more space. It's important to look for the animals consent and comfort when working with and taking care of them so they can remain as happy and stress free as possible!

“This is our second boarding experience with Luciana and Rob, and we couldn't be more grateful for them watching our two dogs for over two weeks. They were communicative and so patient with our doggies. One of our dogs gets super nervous and warey of strangers, so it takes a while for him to warm up to others, and they did a great job of being patient with him and giving him space to warm up, they were finally able to get belly rubs from him towards the end, which shows how gentle and caring they were towards him to show that he trusts them. Thank you for watching our puppies and we look forward to using them again as our future dog sitters. :)”

“Kiarash took my pup in when I had a work emergency. I was apprehensive at first because my puppy had never been with a stranger nor have I ever used rover before but things went really good. My puppy is extremely friendly with anyone he comes across. Though my concern is with staying overnight with a stranger because he’s never done that. Kiarash took his time to update me, pass on some knowledge and really spend quality time with my pup and together with his pup. Gatsby came back really happy and seemed to have bonded with both Kiarash and his puppy Sky. I would recommend anyone who is a new puppy parent or anyone who needs a day of onboarding. Kiarash is the reason i am more comfortable using rover when needed. I am hoping to set up other days in the future during some work trips. I trust his work and knowledge and that he would be a great with ANYONES dog. Thanks again Kiarash, my pup will surely miss you!”
