For my drop-in service, the first thing that you can expect me to do is get to know the pup that I will be taking care of for you (sniffs, gentleness, and patience). Once your pet is comfortable, I will stick to the routine you give me. Morning walks before breakfast? Bathroom break after dinner? I will do exactly that! Of course, I will spend some time playing with them and petting them, if they want me to, before leaving. I will never push your dog outside their comfort zone, and I will always respect their homes too.

About: I've had the privilege of not only helping care for my family’s previous and current dog but also the pets of others. When I lived with my family and we would occasionally watch over our friend's dog in our home so I would help care for a dog then! I've also done in home dog sits with a variety of dogs. I love many animals including dogs. Growing up I personally had a fish and a guinea pig who lived a long life, then our family dog! I currently live in a home with no pets and will be the sole caregiver of your dog. About: I have pet sat for many of animals, dogs and cats. I’ve stayed two weeks at a time, and also to pop ins. I have no pet allergies. I work Tuesday through Saturday 6:30 to 3pm , off Sunday and Mondays. I’m flexible. I can do over nights and let them out before I head out to work and make sure they get their walks in and feedings in. I do not kennel in my home. I’m Mobil and am able to come to you . Before we get to my experience, I just want to mention that I am wheelchair bound, so I prefer to stick to walking smaller dogs unless they are well-mannered on a leash! The size of animal is not a concern if a walk is not a requirement! For drop ins, it would require a mostly accessible entrance into the home. I can do a single small step, but otherwise zero-entry would be the most ideal! I have worked alongside a dog trainer who also offers boarding services for the past 4 years, I have volunteered for many animal shelters, including Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando for 2 years, I have been training my own dogs for the past 14 years, including training my current service dog, and I have previously shadowed veterinarians in a clinic environment. I absolutely love both dogs and cats, and I can assure you that they will be in great hands! I truly can’t wait to get in touch with you and meet your fur baby!! I currently work a part-time job, but often get scheduled full-time hours. I usually work between the hours of 8 and 6:30, so I can do night checks on my work days. My guaranteed days off are Monday and Tuesday, and I could complete as many drop ins as needed to keep your fur baby happy and healthy! I want to make sure that your baby stays comfortable, especially with a stranger coming into the home. I am very well versed on animal behaviour and body language, so I will never rush or force an interaction. I plan to follow the same schedule that you would as an owner, so that their schedule remains the same, even without a family member present. I will also make sure that the pet parents are staying updated with photos and messages throughout the day to maintain trust and communication!
