About: My family has always been an animal house; I have 3 dogs, a cat and a bird! I also have been housesitting and petsitting dogs and cats for my neighbors since I was 12-13. Additionally, I’ve volunteered at my local animal shelter (Main Line Animal Rescue) by going through dog walk orientation and worked with all sorts of dogs. I am excited to help others out and watch over their pets using my experience! I’m home for the summer from college, so I have plenty of free time! I am available for dog walking, housesitting, or overnight sitting during days of the week and also weekends. I make sure to always pay attention to each pet and see what they need according to what the owner needs (food, water, bathroom time, playtime, walks) and make sure to keep an eye on them, as well as adjusting to what they prefer - whether it be a lot of pets or just some company! I am experienced with walking a lot of different dogs and will give them plenty of love and attention.
“Makayla responded within minutes of us requesting a last minute walker for Archer. She communicated clearly and then showed up right on time. She gave me a couple of updates during the walk and then a clear summary as to how she left. We definitely recommend her and will be happy to request Makayla again soon!”

“Adina is great with communication and her reports on from the visits always give me peace of mind! She is very patient with my older dog and spends extra time with him if he doesn’t want to walk far!”
“This weekend was our first experience with Rover, and Rachel was the best person to show us the way. She and our dog, Chino, hit it off right away at the Meet and Greet that Rachel suggested. During our trip, Rachel let us know about each interaction she had during her drop-in and walk sessions. We could see when she arrived, how long they walked and the route the took. But in addition, Rachel let us know how Chino wasdoing each time, (excited, cooperative, easy on the leash, hesitant, playfully, etc.) Rachel shared lots of pix as well. This put our minds at easy that Chino was being well looked after. We will certainly have Rachel as our first choice for future pet care needs! Rachel was awesome!”

“Beth was amazing! She walked our dog every day for a week. She bonded with our dog, who is cautious and was hesitant to walk at first. Beth managed to get her to relax and go on nice walks every day.”

About: I’ve cared for animals for years, beginning with my own family dog and now with my two cats, who have taught me the importance of understanding every pet’s unique personality and routine. Beyond my own pets, I regularly care for friends’ and family members’ dogs and cats, whether that means walks, feeding, playtime, administering routine care, or simply providing companionship while they’re away. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and strive to make every pet feel comfortable, safe, and loved as if they were my own. As a recent Fordham University B.S. graduate preparing for dental school, I spend most of my days studying from home, which gives me an exceptionally flexible schedule for pet care. Because my study routine is self-paced, I’m able to build my day around the needs of the pets I’m caring for—whether that’s morning walks, midday potty breaks, afternoon play sessions, evening feedings, or overnight care. I enjoy taking breaks throughout the day to get outside, making long walks and quality one-on-one attention a natural part of my routine. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I provide a calm, loving environment and take the time to learn each pet’s routine and personality so they feel right at home. My home features a screened porch for supervised outdoor time, and a quiet road that’s perfect for safe, scenic walks. Whether your pet loves to play or prefers to relax, they’ll receive plenty of attention, exercise, affection, and personalized care. I also provide regular updates so you can feel confident knowing your pet is in safe, caring hands.

Megan is absolutely amazing! Our Otis was SO excited to see her everytime she came to walk him & loved his walks with her! We have some specific things we do & are training Otis with & she kept things consistent & followed our requests beautifully. I HIGHLY recommend her! The only reason we're stopping her walks, only temporarily, is temporary financial issues.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
